    I might sound like a clown, but I find solo practicing with pads on gives the confidence to try new or risky moves to test those limits and see how far the range of motion is. If I splat, I don’t ruin myself. I can just get back up and dust off.

    Any tips on soreness and knee pain ?

    • @Dunbeezytv
      @Dunbeezytv  3 роки тому +2

      Check this video out and warm up before you skate. Every time. I have struggled with knee pain and I'm sore 6 out of 7 days a week because of the way I train. Warm up help with soreness and yoga after the work out too. It's a life style. I'll make a video about it for the fam.

      @@Dunbeezytv I wear impalas! And yes I always do . But the pain always happens the most in my knees

      @@rakiyatrout I hear so many poor things about the fit and wear of Impalas. It could be the boot honestly. One of my friends got some Impalas and the same thing happened.

    im kind of a begginer to skating. should i start on a toe stop and then move to jam plugs? or just start with jam plugs?

    • @Dunbeezytv
      @Dunbeezytv  4 роки тому +2

      It depends on how you skate and want to skate. Jam plugs aren't advanced skate equipment they're equipment for people who want to dance. If you're focusing on dancing better I would switch, but if you're a park or derby skater and you want to learn some moves, I would keep your toe stops. There are tons of toe stop skills that I don't and can't do because I haven't worn toe stops in over a decade. I literally don't stop, I slow down in style. When I do jump off stuff or skate outside, I compensate for not having toe stops with skill. If you watch people at parks, they will jump off something and land fakie then slide on their stops. I land the trick fakie and roll away. It's easier to land and slide on your stops because you don't have land flush, you can slide it out if you tip forward.
