Soufriere I agree she can definitely scream. I like the “gimmick” of the Ladybeard persona. But as a musician? It’s definitely not someone I could potentially go spend money on to see in person. If that makes sense?

I know they already split up but I think Emily is still making music if not she just tinkering with it .

It’s been such an incredibly rewarding journey following this group since the beginning. They consistently evolve with every release and every track and every incarnation and it’s absolutely impressive to witness.I love this new track, while it adds a whole new dimension to their sound it maintains everything that has made the group unique in the past. I also discovered LB not long after Nippon Manju came out, was just as shocked as everyone when Ladybeard left but still supported the girls, had my own heart crushed when R & R fell out, and -- watching as Rie (with the assistance of a couple of suits) rebuilt *_her_* baby from scratch after a depression spiral -- saw how Rie deserves respect as an artist.

I had no idea what to expect going in, but DAMN it was impressive! I've seen every Ladybaby MV and this may be the best. This is Art, a further realization of Rie's dream of transcending Idol and becoming an Artist. I'm proud of all 4 lovely ladies! Excellent work to Emily for helping Hajimetal with the lyrics, Rie for directing & choreo, and Nana for the costumes.

Not to say all Idol music is like that, just that it's quite common, perhaps. well ladys, i am going to be honest with you i have never been intrested in your band because of the concept, the sound and the vocals but now i have had watched two new videos of yours, truth is i like the fact that the concept changed, the music is heavier and the vocals improved and for that reason i am becoming a fan .
It's good that the members are becoming more involved in the actual creation rather than just singing the songs. Emily helped write lyrics and is now clearly the screamer, Nana seems to have taken on the mantle of rapper while designing costumes, and Rie is directing and choreographing. Only Fuka hasn't got a defined role yet.
They'll be in Houston in June. Sadly, they don't have the budget to do international touring like Babymetal. They have to be invited. Find an anime or Japanese culture convention near you that regularly brings in JP music groups and ask them to book Ladybaby.
It's been years now and Emily's scream at 2:26 still gives me goosebumps.
