- I worked from Mountains in Kausani for a week at a homestay called Aashritha. This homestay offers one of the best view of Himalayan Peaks while providing all amenities you need for a good stay. The BSNL WiFi broadband helped me take my 'Teams' calls during my work hours uninterrupted. The overall hospitality is amazing.

We stayed at Ashrita Homestay in 2017 December for 5 nights and it turned out to be one of our best stay experiences in the mountains 😊 The property offers a majestic view of the Trishul & Nanda Devi peaks and it's a treat to wake up to such beauty. Coming to the specifics of the property, from cozy & clean rooms to lip smacking food ( the pahadi mutton curry is divine) and excellent service by the staff, we couldn't have asked for more. The pocket friendly price is an icing on the cake. Unforgettable experience !

Great video. But you could have shown more of resort. The camera stayed on you and the hosts for most part of the video. Therefore we still have not got how the resort looks like. How big is the lawn etc. Yet thank you so much for showing us this great place. Already planning a stay there.
This place is really nice, there are a couple of other videos that I've made on this place. Do check them out as well. You might find what you're looking for.
Last year for the entire month of December I spent in Majhach village at the top of Manali. It was an amazing workation experience I shared in my channel. This year I am planning for Uttrakhand.

My first visit to kausani was in 1987. Concept of self driving was negligible. It was a bus ride from Nainital and it was like coming to the end of the world. The distant town of Garud would look like a town in another country. The road from nainital to kausani with many criss crossing rivers and bridges and the rolling mountains on both sides was a treat to the novice mountain drive. Have thence travelled several times realizing their are many destinations beyond.

It's great for rare touring/travelling but for a get away work location for few weeks/months, it costs a lot...

Yes, you are right. But now they are offering better discounts, still not sure what they would charge for a full month. Talk to them and check and if possible, please also let me know if they give any major discounts :)

Yes I did. They have a BSNL Fibre Optic Wifi which gives easily about 20Mbps. Still as a backup you can use your mobile hotspot. Airtel works best there.

I just happened to find this place in a vlog which had a single (5sec) shot of this place and that was enough for me to take a decision and chose this place to stay in Kausani. And when I actually visited this place, I asked the owner for shooting this property as the didn't have any videos to promote themselves.

The video was fine. Is it really an enjoyable place with safety and security measures? Share your experience.
The place is very safe, only thing is that you cannot roam around on roads in the night as there could be some wildlife activity out there. The best thing to enjoy here is snow covered Himalayan peaks. It's not a place which has a lot of market options etc. as there's no mall road here. It's a secluded place known for it's peaceful presence. So, in case you plan, keep these things in mind.

I don't think so. They have a common kitchen where all meals are prepared by cooks. The kitchen is totally managed by the staff. You might get access to it occasionally if you stay for a long duration but I'm not sure about this. Please contact the owner for more info.

Sir is this place a wheelchair friendly place. Actually me and my wife both are wheelchair user. Do we able to stay there comfortably.

Hello - Was the internet connectivity so good that you could work very well all the time (9 am - 9 pm Mon-fri) without any hassle? The call connectivity over zoom (with screen sharing), will that be seamless here? Please confirm.

Yes. Internet was perfect. I take teams calls daily for 3-4 hours with screen sharing 50% of times and I had no issues there. Airtel works best there.

many multiple fires, causing a choking smoke.

What type of camera you use for vloging
I have recently purchased a GoPro 8 but the entire Kausani series including this video was shot using iPhone XR.
Bhai ek swaal aapse puchhna chahta hun ki ek Mechanical Engineer, Civil Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Welders, Carpenters, Turners, Fitters etc. etc. ke liye koi option hai kya Work from Mountains ke liye. Ye aap log sirf or sirf computer wale apna ye jugaad sa utthha kar kahin se bhi kaam kar sakte ho. Even ki aap log to Work from Toilet bhi kar sakte ho. Hamara kya hoga bhai. Sara din Iron & Steel se sar marna hota hai, hamara aakhir hoga kya.
Amarjit bhai, main aapki baat se bilkul agree krta hu ke hum IT waale log kahi se bhi kaam kar sakte hain lekin yaha aap apne kaam se off leke bhi to jaa sakte hain. Why only to work from there, you can have a relaxing vacation too.
