+Ritsukaberry ... No, by being present. I wasn't talking about what happens in the next scene. Logan isn't perfect either, but this is one of his better moments IMO.
if i remember correctly, and it's been a while since i watched, things were already weird between them, so when she had told him it's gonna be terrible, 8.30 i'll go with you and then she clearly forgot about him and comes out with all this guys, clearly from having a good time...well, yes. the hell is he doing there, waiting for her when all those rich guys from Yale are there with her? last time he broke up because she freaking deserved to be broken up with, lets not play games.
Here's the thing about Life & Death boys, Logan included, they didn't make a great first impression, and can absolutely be snobbish, but they are also supportive, quick-witted, and whimsical. The tragedy of the revival was that it saw Rory saying goodbye to group. Whether or not you believe Rory should end up Logan, you have to admit how happy Rory is with them as a member of L & D Brigade. In my opinion the best news about the baby, was that it ensure Logan and co. stay in Rory's orbit. I can't say for certain about the other boys, but Logan at the very least needs some kind of a catalyst for him to hit the eject button on his life's course. He's working for his father and marrying someone he is cheating on, and refers to as part of a "dynastic plan". Whether or not you think he is right for Rory, surely no one wants that for him.
Thank you you took all the words out of my mouth and put them into this very long paragraph but you're right and I think Logan is perfect for Rory and Rory is always so happy when she's with Finn and Colin and Logan and let's not forget Robert he comes on later and they all go so perfectly together she's so happy when she's with them most of the time when she's not screaming at them and it's just perfect sorry I'm making you read all this but I have not found someone who shares the same opinion we do so I'm just happy.
I've never really understood why so many people hate Logan. I feel like the ones that do only hate him because they want her to be with Jess or Dean. I never liked Rory and Dean together. But I loved Jess and Rory and Logan and Rory. Both boyfriends expanded her horizons and taught her to grow up. I'd be happy if she ended up with either one.
Dean was okay but I HATED Jess, the way he treated Rory's family and Luke was awful. he just came accross like any standard Kerouac-worshipping douche but I will admit he grew up eventually. Logan I adored with Rory, he truly loved her and wanted what was best for her and he seemed to be the most invested in making her happy.
I love Rory with Logan and I'm glad she had her most serious relationship with him, he completely understands her intelligence and cares for her immensely. I liked Dean when they first started dating in season 1, but he's pathetic, he's a dick. I liked Rory with Jess because of some of the same reasons as I like her and Logan. Jess understood Rory's intelligence and I loved how he didn't open up to anybody, or let anybody in, but he cared so much about Rory that he opened up to her and he left because he thought he would hold her back, but I'm more for Rory and Logan because Jess is related to her sooo😬😬
I loved Logan and Rory together. All time favorite match for Rory. They both grew up so much in their relationship. And he just pushed her in a way none of her other boyfriends did. But I really felt that Logan did this on purpose because he liked Rory and knew no boyfriend would be happy with this situation. Logan planned this situation to a tee.. He wanted Rory from when they first met.
Jess did too, but with Logan, she started to actually live. Before she met him, her whole time on Yale was studying, newspapers, Paris and movie nights with Marty, who was not really a friend, just waited for a chance. He would confess sooner or later even without Logan and it would end up the same. She started to actually live after meeting him. The only friends she made without him were Paris and Lane (I don't count guys who approached her, because they liked her.) and we know how stable her friendship with Paris was.
i actually feel really bad for Dean in this scene. Yeah he was a jerk for breaking up with her in public twice but it must be hard to look at the person that you love and realize that your just not good enough for her anymore. Rory had grown up and made a bigger life for her self then the one that Dean could provide or even dreamed of having and I think when he saw her with her diamonds, surrounded by rich eligible men he realized it.
Not just then. Remember when Rory realized good grades aren't enough and started worrying. He made a scene like he wanted to go see a movie and she prefers working on her future. And that paranoia over Jess. He was right in the end, but who knows what would happen if he didn't cause a jealous scene everytime Rory met him.But this scene is part of two that show why Dean was not the one for her. When she asks him about the article, he is unable to answer on her level and you can see that she isn't fine with it. Intelectually, he was not on her level to talk to her. But when she asks Logan in this scene, he gives her a constructive answer. The problem with Dean was, who he wanted. He wanted a woman like Lindsay, who would stay home, care only about cooking him dinner and think him to be a God given gift. But he wanted that girl to be Rory. He wanted her to leave all her dreams and ambitions for him.And his last scene with Luke you mentioned was pure malice. It pissed him off that they were happy. But he was wrong. Lorelai was just as smart, Richard once said she was the smartest girl in her class and she went to Chilton too. But she was different from Rory. She didn't want to be a wife, but she could have everything and she prefered this smalltown life, little hotel...
@@tjc2993 One could say he was young and stupid. Not all teenagers think about women's rights, but he never got over that opinion. And he had that in Lindsay and if that was enough for him, why not? There is nothing wrong, when a woman doesn't want a big career, but to stay at home and take care of her family. I'm fine with it as long as it's her choice. But no, Dean wanted Rory, someone with everything on the road to big life, so she'd leave all that just to be his stay-at-home wife and think about making him happy all day. I really hoped the two would meet in the revival and realize they're actually better off without him and mentioning Dean ended up with a crappy life. In the end, as far as we know, between his exes and Rory's guys, he actually ended up the happiest. Not fair.
he was a douche when he dumped her for not saying i love you back. that was like season 2-3 she shouldn't have gotten back with him and he's a loser for cheating on his wife. He only ever wanted rory when he couldn't have her EXAMPLES: first getting together she said she wanted to focus on school and didn't want a boyfriend, but tristan flirted with her so dean wanted her. Then they broke up cause she wouldn' say i love you and he was over it and didn't care anymore, she got with Jess and suddenly Dean wanted Rory back, once he had her again he started acting bitchy and selfish and jealous and she started hanging out with logan who was her FRIEND and he dumped her, then when he saw she was happy even though he was married he suddenly wanted her back again so she slept with him, then realized she wanted to be exclusive with logan and regretted sleeping with dean. He continued to only want her when she wasn't available. He never LOVED rory he just wnated her because she didn't want him.
This is one of my favourite scenes... It finally shows what a total f**king asshole dean is, and what a sweetheart logan is! yay! plus, finn and colin are my favourite supporting actors in the entire show! :D
i loved rory and logan but in my heart i always new that her soulmate was jess.. , i never liked dean, he was to much like an irritating puppie, and after dean broke up with rory in season 3 episode 7, the romance have been dead.. rory and deans relationsship was so boring.
I think that the reason people were so indifferent about Dean was because 1) he was her first boyfriend so we all sort of knew it wasn't going to last forever and 2) because I think we all knew that Rory was never going to stay in a small town like Stars Hollow for the rest of her life...she was destined for more and 3) Dean was a good ol'boy but he was pretty generic and I personally always saw Rory growing out of that even though he was always going to be someone important to her.
Same. Except I've always been team Jess. Logan is adorable but Jess is the only one who challenges her and gets her, it seems (and eheheh he's the beautifulest). Dean and Logan are more like her subjects 😂 She acts like a princess around them, but Jess doesn't let her act like a spoiled brat. (especially when he shows up at dinner with Logan and just honestly asks her whats up and truly cares about whats going on even though her bf just roasted him 😭😍) #jessforever #itsmeanttobe

I kind of liked Dean as a character. He was nice and liked Rory more than he probably should have and he treated her right for the most part. But he had a lot insecurities which resulted in him getting mad jealous over nonsense, and being wildly possessive. Case in point, when Rory had to play Juliet to Tristan's Romeo and he insisted on sitting in on the rehearsal. That showed complete lack of faith in Rory and it was counterproductive because all he did was make things worse by sitting in the corner brooding over the fact that Rory had to do this FOR SCHOOL. And for another thing he often guilt tripped her into stuff and was way too clingy. Like when he pushed Rory into letting him come over in the episode where she wanted a night in alone. Like sometimes people just want time to themselves, and he couldn't understand why she didn't want to hang out with him. Newsflash, no one wants to spend 24-7 with their sweetheart. No matter how much they love them.
Mariah Moorman Thank you! Has no one ever seem to realize this?! Dean had some major insecurities and possibly an anger problem, each and every time Rory got close to a guy, a friend guy(or at least it started that way), he got jealous immediately. Tristan was a good example, but lets not forget Jess, he never trusted him, but more importantly, he never trusted Rory. He never did. And lets not forget the second time they broke up, where he dumped her in front of everyone and she just stayed in place crying, he wasn't even gentle about it, but he never was.
Caroline Rodz I wouldn't call tristan a friend though. He was looking for more. They may have had a kind of friendship. Yes, he clearly has a right when it's obvious that the guys like her. He should trust rory though, but then she did fall for Jess.
omg i love finn!!! he's soooooooooooooo hilarious!!!! "it's crying time" "but i'm exotic" "i'll reenact the passion of the Christ" omg hahahahhahahahaha
I love how ever since Logan began to like Rory he watched out for her. Made sure she was okay. Like at Yale when she goes to buy coffee and drops her money her help her and paid for it. Logan was always my favorite. And as an added bonus, with him you also get Colin and the amazing FINN!!!
I wanted rory and Finn together. he kept calling her love or the lovely rory. I don't like Logan at all he was horrible to her. he cheated on her when he thought they broke up. which they hadn't and got her arrested
i love those scenes. first of all... they´re really funny. then together with scene of rory´s date with dean they show us, how dean absolutely didn´t fit to rory. she´s smart and funny, but he isn´t. on that date they were talking about nothing, because they didn´t have anything to talk about. then she asked him about her article and his answer was like from 10-year old. he liked it. but logan evaluated it like an intelligent person. they had many things to talk about. and much more things...
Unlike Jess, and Dean for that matter, Logan never tried to interfere with Rory's relationships. Logan, along with Colin and Finn, tried to make Rory feel better after Dean broke it off. Also, Rory and Logan didn't immediately get together after the break up. That's why I love Logan, and Colin and Finn to a certain degree. They truly care about Rory as a friend.
U notice how dean told rory he read the article and obviously lied, he had NOTHING to say, but Logan talked to rory about it and HE is the one who brought it up, showing that he REALLY READ IT! Deans a jerk. Omg all the other comments are from like 14 years ago omg
I still say Jess was the perfect match for Rory, a little danger a little adventure, but also a lot of chemistry and things in common. Lets not forget that he cared about her so much, and never meant to hurt her. He was just used to people letting him down. And lets not forget that it was because of him that Rory was inspired to go back to Yale, and reconcile with her mother. And in the new Netflix series, 10 years later, he also gave her the idea for a book about her and her mother. If you ask me, Jess was an amazingly interesting character, who was practically a more badass(or bad boy) male version of Rory.
You know, I've thought that about a thousand times - I so wanna be Rory during the time she gets to know Logan and gets/is together with him. He's hot, he's cute, he totally cares about her, he's just totally cool...
Yeah, he was such a catch. Marrying a girl out of spite and then cheating on her within the first year. And leaving that letter in his clothes, when she was the one doing laundry... Not to mention he always dumped Rory in front of other people like it couldn't be done privately, or his crazy jealousy. I mean... What girl wouldn't want that?
every one always says how dean was perfect for her and how terrible she is to choose some one else...but nooo one eveeeer remembers that tis dean that does the dumping everytime....its some what annoying then he starts talkin shit like "YOU broke up with ME"and i sit here watchin it like..damn if i was rory id punch him in the face....i always liked her with jess tho...
@savannahgirl12 I never liked Dean from the moment he decided to marry Lindsay. He was just trying to burry the feelings he had for Rory. Then he was even bigger jerk for continuing this pretend marriage, then cheating! He just turned completely corrupt!
Nothing seems as worst as Finn's passion of the christ...except finn's passion of the christ. hahahah haw poor dean, he must feel so leftout and not good enough :(
i dont think dean is naturally a jerk. he just has to move on because he knows rory and him are going in two different directions. i think he had to let her go so she could move on to bigger and better things. its better than when logan tries to force rory to live a certain way when they seperated
Finn is just the best character on the show, love him :D
he should totally have his own show! :D I LOVE him too!
Kim G. I love Finn too he's awesome my favorite character on Gilmore girls is Emily
U commented 4 years ago😂 yet I'm over her re watching seens 😂
Kim G.
Kirk is better
Ikr he should’ve had more screen time
One of the best Logan moments. Love that he stepped in to cheer her up. Dean has insecurity issues.
By getting her drunk.

Same
Finn is my favorite
I'm so sad that Finn doesn't have a bigger part in the show. I smile every time he comes into the scene. EVERY TIME.
I love the way Finn says its crying time
hope_frasier24 Its always crying time
when ever dean feels inferior he breaks up with her, jerk
Taylor Meyer Yep
not saying its a bad thing that they broke up...
She's can be a terrible person too, amazing at manipulating.
I hate dean, why'd he say Rory dumped him everytime they broke up when literally every single time it was him who was breaking up with her.
if i remember correctly, and it's been a while since i watched, things were already weird between them, so when she had told him it's gonna be terrible, 8.30 i'll go with you and then she clearly forgot about him and comes out with all this guys, clearly from having a good time...well, yes. the hell is he doing there, waiting for her when all those rich guys from Yale are there with her?
last time he broke up because she freaking deserved to be broken up with, lets not play games.
"nothing ever seems so bad after finn's passion of the christ , except Finn's passion of the christ"

"it's crying time" 😂 I watch this late in the season for Finn and Finn alone.

I couldn't have put it better myself. I feel like she out grew Dean. Jess or Logan would be perfect choices for her. Cant wait for November 25th.
Logan was an egotistical asshat. Not saying this because she should be with anyone else in particular, but that's literally what he was.

Dean is terrible, he broke up with her three times, twice in public and took her virginity while he was married to another woman. So wth

#FinnTheExotic
Finn is just hands down the best member of the life and death brigade.
I like that she didn't have the time to be really broken hearted over dummy Dean because she was instantly swept up in doting drunken cute boys :)
I love Finn he is the best character
Dean never thought he was good enough. He should have given himself more credit.
Lyndsey Newman Yeah I feel him. That's why he made her feel bad for having her own thing. He was too insecure.

U notice how dean told rory he read the article and obviously lied, he had NOTHING to say, but Logan talked to rory about it and HE is the one who brought it up, showing that he REALLY READ IT! Deans a jerk.
Omg all the other comments are from like 14 years ago omg
2:02-- Now lets see, its taken Dean 5 years, 3 break ups (altogether), and 1 affair to figure that out :P
logan has some good qualities...
If you ask me, Jess was an amazingly interesting character, who was practically a more badass(or bad boy) male version of Rory.
id love to see him reenact the passion of the crist
Everybody loves Finn, anybody who doesn't...is fictional.:P
He's EXOTIC, for cryin' out loud!!!:):P
So is the asian bird flu
You know, I've thought that about a thousand times - I so wanna be Rory during the time she gets to know Logan and gets/is together with him. He's hot, he's cute, he totally cares about her, he's just totally cool...
"Pick me, I'm exotic!" "So is the Asian bird flu."
I LOVE FINN SO SO SO MUCH AND HIS PERSONALITY AND LOOKS COMBINED MAKE A FINE AF GUY
I want someone just like Logan funny, smart, sweet, and a lil cocky
Me too
All love to logan
you so gotta love logan in this one.
i love logan!
I'll reenact the passion of the Christ. Omfg. They're the best friends ever!!
Dean is right. He doesn't belong in her life anymore. Logan is perfect for rory
Dean is a jerk and Finn is awesome and exotic ;)
Notice how all the guys at the party are in suits except Logan
I just luv how different his accent is
i love that part. and when logan says are you? thats pretty couply for people who barly know eachother
Dean deserved SO much better. Rory never deserved him. Or Jess.
+ elektra56765 just because things don't go the way as planned doesn't mean she didn't love them I just meant that they weren't meant to be...
Dean was the best 😍💗
Yeah, he was such a catch. Marrying a girl out of spite and then cheating on her within the first year. And leaving that letter in his clothes, when she was the one doing laundry... Not to mention he always dumped Rory in front of other people like it couldn't be done privately, or his crazy jealousy. I mean... What girl wouldn't want that?
I would've picked Finn. His accent is glorious ;)
every one always says how dean was perfect for her and how terrible she is to choose some one else...but nooo one eveeeer remembers that tis dean that does the dumping everytime....its some what annoying then he starts talkin shit like "YOU broke up with ME"and i sit here watchin it like..damn if i was rory id punch him in the face....i always liked her with jess tho...
@savannahgirl12 I never liked Dean from the moment he decided to marry Lindsay. He was just trying to burry the feelings he had for Rory. Then he was even bigger jerk for continuing this pretend marriage, then cheating! He just turned completely corrupt!
I'll re-enact Passion of the Christ!!!!!!!!! bahahaha...love Finn :)
yeah. its always a ball of a time with finn and colin.
This is when Rory went downhill
+lilyandsnapeforevs It went downhill when she had sex with dean, a married man. Yes, getting together in season 5 was a big mistake.
I love you logan!!!! So nice :)
omg i love that part lol!!! but yeah it's crying time.
To be fair to Dean, from his perspective, Rory coming out of the door with a bunch of guys feels like a scene right out of a porno.
Nothing seems as worst as Finn's passion of the christ...except finn's passion of the christ. hahahah haw poor dean, he must feel so leftout and not good enough :(
finn = love
fucking love Finn, he's the best
I wanna see Finn's re-enactment of passion of the christ!
finn is hilarious
Dean was so wrong to break up with her in front of so many people. I wouldnt have been sad I would have been pissed. really tho dean really?
Is that a new shirt cuz I like it lol
Logan can now say he saw Rory break up with her (technically first) boyfriend 😂😂
the fact this was made a few day before i was born is kinda scary
Did anyone else notice that Jared Padalecki named his daughter after the woman Logan is supposed to marry on a year in the life?
"its crime time."
Tori Lewis crying
I love Logan.:):):):):):):):)
"I'll reenact the passion of the Christ!"
i dont think dean is naturally a jerk. he just has to move on because he knows rory and him are going in two different directions. i think he had to let her go so she could move on to bigger and better things. its better than when logan tries to force rory to live a certain way when they seperated
Was Finn trying to flirt with Rory in the very beginning? ;) I would have loved to see these two together.
What time is it? It's crying time😂
But i'm exotic. So is the Asian bird flu
lol that is a great line
UGH!!! i flipping hate dean!! always have!ugh..
but yay logan...and finn.. lol "spank me."
Logan is the best of rorys bfs, you can't change my nind
Flinn is my favorite characters
Im exotic, so is the asian bird flu HAHA
that's so sad. dean and rory seem so hurt and. GUH Logan! Now I see why I hate him he's very sleezy.
I can definitely see all the girls hating Rory just because she hangs out with a bunch of attractive guys lol
Finn is fine!
