Should I use the CFA institute books or the schweser books given the fact that I am not from a finance background but just finished with an MBA in Finance ?

Hey, I'm not 100% sure about this, but I THINK that all of the pre-requisite material is available in the CFA Level 1 text books itself. You can look it up there

*TVM is the prerequisite for the cakewalk in finance.
Is it good to do one subject at a time? Or we should do two subjects?
Honestly, try both out. I'd suggest doing one at a time but if you find that easy then do 2
