The amount of heart and soul that you put into your knife designs is absolutely unmatched sir! You genuinely love making excellent knives. Thank you for ALL that you do. God bless, stay safe
I always enjoy hearing your thoughts about your designs William. Occasionally people will ask me why I carry a knife with all those different angles. This was a perfect video to highlight those features and show the advantages to the design. Hearing you compare it as you did to the Jr. Woodsman made me raise my antennas lol. You know how much I enjoy my Jr's so that makes me curious even more so. You have indeed created some masterpieces over the past few years my friend!
I have yet to see anyone be so bold with blade shapes and design as yourself, and I'm really not sure why. Perhaps if I were to get one of your knives in hand one day I might be left unimpressed, but I can't imagine that being the case based my experience with handle design and blades so far. Those blended multigrinds you do are just magnificent, a very innovative way of maximising utility out of one knife. Hope I can afford to get me one someday hopefully very soon. :)
Great job Mr Collins! Really love that straight edge. Great for planing boards and making curls. Still can’t believe that thick knife cut those vegetables without busting them. Can’t wait for my sportsman’s choice🤩🤩🤩
I own several WC Knives. My favorite is the Nessy! The Camp Tool is great, the To da bone is awesome, the Belt Knife is my go to camp knife and the Woodsman Butcher is my go to for game processing. All these are in AEBL steel and I love it even though it does show scuffs (but who cares). AEBL holds an edge and is easy to sharpen (which isn't very often)! Looks like this Master Bushman is gonna get in the lineup! Another awesome design from William Collins!
first thing is that knife is a very elegant design. the curve in a blade is a great thing to have, and the front of the blade is perfect for eating. I can see easily how useful and friendly that knife is.. (wsk excluded) i can see adopting that knife easily. That design is applicable to size as well, it can be a 4 in knife as well, but that said. it is an awesome design and i can see why it is the perfect EDC.. the more i look at it the more i like it as is... it is a great adaptation of shapes .. super well done!!
Long time no see William! Glad to see you're still being creative. I'm just about done perfecting my heat treat for 01. I tested my most recent knife after having some trouble with previous tests and it almost bent it to a 90 degree angle on a vice before the blade sprung back up to straight. I took a lot of what you taught me to heart. I spent weeks trying to get my heat treat right and I'm certain I got it down now. I'm still having trouble free handing my bevels but like all things, I just need practice. I hope to share with you my final product soon. I know you said you're looking forward to it. You were my inspiration for getting started. Thank you. Sincerely. I got a long road ahead of me. Hopefully my first design I put out gets received well. I plan to sell everything on eBay first. I'm definitely worried no body will give me a chance since I'm a nobody new to the market. But I have faith in my product and unlike my books will be completely open starting out LOL. I plan on picking up your stranded woodsman at some point. I will still support you regardless if I can make my own knives. You deserve it. Take care and stay safe this year. Hope much more success comes your way!
In terms of versatility this seems like a really nice design! Also recommend the Dmt, they sharpen every steel and the Nitro V is a very nice cutlery steel and a great successor to the AEB-L/13C26.
Thanks, they will get back with you. The new models are not listed on the website. Have to email or call them. They have been very busy with this new roll out. Appreciate your interest and patience.
I'm with you on the opinion of nitro v. For the longest time I thought the end all be all steel of choice for me would be 3v, BUT i must say I think they're at least equal.
William, This knife profile appears to be like the your EDC. Way different than the Jr Woodsmen that I own. First the Master Bushmen ha a way smaller and manageable blade.
What is the cost for shipping? Usually it’s under $50.00 for priority USPS shipping. Ask Great Northern Knives what the cost is. I ship overseas weekly.
Wish you long long long prosperous years ahead. Be healthy, strong, and innovative as you always are big man.
God bless

Great knife! I have never seen knife with a "tooth" before but it look like it would be useful when carving.
It is amazing how handy that tooth is in many cutting task, carving being one of them for sure. Appreciate your view and comment.
I like it! I don’t see it on the website. I called them yesterday to inquire about it as well. Hopefully they will return my call soon.
