Hi. Thanks for the video. It is very useful. I have a loudspeaker almost identical to the one you have used for the tutorial. Mine is no longer charging the battery and, apparently, if the battery needs replacement the speaker would not work even if plugged in to the wall outlet. My question is: would it be possible to bypass the battery and convert the speaker to work on ac power only? If so, how? Thanks in advance for your guidance.

I think if u get an Apter with the munching amount of voltages with the one required by the speaker.... Which is 110-260v 50Hz. Then I think it will work but then you have to always have it on your outlet subtituting the the battery of the speaker.

My Pyle speaker works fine with 120v ac, but sound shuts off when unplugged. (All lights stay on, but no sound until reconnected with power cable) is this the battery?

If you have a speaker with a 12v input like this one the you can bring a car battery or a car buster Battery pack. 24 hour of play time mo problem.

Not a problem. 12v is 12 volts.
This portable speaker flood the market with different name seems like most trader bought from Ali express , and add some cost to put personal logo, exceptions on the portable speaker that you are working on the transformer look way better that few others
I have a ION speaker here but mine does not have a battery in it and it will not turn on I opened it up and try to look for the battery bracket but I don't see anything please let me know do they build some of these speakers with batteries and do they build some of them without batteries? not sure you will need to open the cover on the back and see what size brick battery is inside.
It is a custom Lithium CR16850, 9 cell, 12v, 5500mAh battery pack. Difficult to find direct replacement. Plus wires are directly soldered onto miniboard directly on top of battery pack. Made as if the Gemini MPA-3000 speaker was made to be disposable 😢

The battery in our Cs2497 speaker was soldered. Why they didn’t use speed clips is beyond me.
I see that from time to time, cut them off and add clips that's what I do.

its 12v 4,5 AH. cant find any batteries that fits it at all. the only ones who fits is 7,5 AH. would that work?
if the 7.5AH fits go for it it will last longer between charges.

y didn't you put a 12v 9 ah battery in it if you are replacing it its the same size
if it fits you can but in the show room here I stock OEM size replacement for warranty use.
They should use a li ion battery instead of lead acid
