Brother, I had taken a home loan. To reduce my interest amount I'm paying half of my EMI every month additionally and Investing 20% of my salary in FD in small financing banks and 10% of my salary in equity.
I suggest open FD with Large banks. Small finance banks can be very risky. You may get less interest but money will be safe. My suggestion is to go with any of the ones SBI, HDFC, PNB, Bajaj.

So open multiple bank accounts in small finance banks so that u get 8-9% FD or else in same bank account try to open self, and joint accounts so that individual accounts will have insurance for 5 lakhs
