Sugar bucks. Cake in a cup. Coffee milkshakes.
It is the boycott effect.
Whats more likely to be causing this, a boycott from a few terminally online people who werent starbucks customer base anyways or 100's of millions of people losing discretionary spending money when starbucks makes $10 coffees that you can make at home for 10 cents?
@@jsedge2473 both reasons is correct
good job u brought down the latte maker single handedly
I feel investors should be focusing on under-the-radar stocks, and considering the current rollercoaster nature of the stock market, Because 35% of my $270k portfolio comprises of plummeting stocks which were once revered and i don't know where to go here out of devastation.
Safest approach i feel to tackle it is to diversify investments. By spreading investments across different asset classes, like bonds, real estate, and international stocks, they can reduce the impact of a market meltdown
It's often true that people underestimate the importance of financial advisors until they feel the negative effects of emotional decision-making. I remember a few summers ago, after a tough divorce, when I needed a boost for my struggling business. I researched and found a licensed advisor who diligently helped grow my reserves despite inflation. Consequently, my reserves increased from $275k to around $750k.
this is definitely considerable! think you could suggest any professional/advisors i can get on the phone with? i'm in dire need of proper portfolio allocation
Well, there are a few out there who know what they are doing. I tried a few in the past years, but I’ve been with Melissa Terri Swayne for the last five years or so, and her returns have been pretty much amazing.
Appreciate this recommendation, hopefully I can get some insight to where the market is headed and strategies to beat the downtrend with when I hear back from Melissa.
People are cutting back. Economy for average people is messed up. Discretionary spending has to go first. That means no more $8 Rose water mint tea Frappuccino.
Quick question. What does cold weather have to do with not buying (typically) hot coffee? Sometimes people say things because it sounds good and/or there is never any push-back on BS answers.
First thing you cut out when hard times start to hit. Cut the expensive coffee out. Unfortunately it's going to take a lot more than this to turn it around.
The biggest drop by far in same store sales was in their second largest market, China. Same store sales were down by 11% y/y. Meanwhile, Luckin Coffee just released results, sales up 48% y/y. This is all about the boycott over Gaza. KFC just closed in Malaysia, McDonalds had to buy the operations in Israel. These guys pretending it's not a factor are either delusional or are being told not to talk about it.
No catalysts 😂. Whole world boycotting it maybe
Should've told us a day earlier.
They're being boycotted worldwide... That should have something to do with it lol
Let me give you a clue, their product is crap. If you enjoy a good cup of coffee you don't go to Starbucks lmao
y ur name starbuck
Not sure people genuinely go for the coffee. It's more of a morning reunion of sorority girls and those who wish they were in a sorority. It's also a check out my outfit convention. Again, it's not really about the coffee for the most part.
I mean thats just your opinion or taste, for me they make the best hot latte i ever tried, what can i say. I dont buy often ofc but still when i do, its the best
$8 for a lavender latte in tucson i let my daughter order it but here’s the thing Starbucks has become too corporate, sterile and greedy that special something is gone the magic is gone
Don't get the butterbear drink...its on their selective menu (private)
Starbucks has to charge customers for single plastic use tax/fees. All the coffee shops are affected.
Bought for the first time today. 50 shares at 73.10. I’m hoping for a long term hold
Its subpar coffee at a premium price. Very unhealthy as well. In my country sugary drinks are getting taxed extra which gonna make it even more expensive
About time
Starbucks needs to innovate and expand on its key customer niche's to expand their customer experience. There are ways they can increase their sales from both the recreational customer base and their business customer base. Who do I talk to about some of these ideas?
I go every day. 3pm Latte. they have clean bathrooms.
I can’t take seriously this guy who is drunk on AI stocks. Would rather take my chances and be drunk on hazelnut syrup quite frankly.
this AI FOMO seems just starting out, and it has a long way to go.
Thanks for the boykott I bought same shares
Starbucks now shit qaulity. Charged so much expensive. I don’t go Starbucks anymore. Since I been the fan for more than 10 years.
Starbucks is terrible
Any Starbucks I go into is always packed, no where to sit
They’re just there for the free wi-fi
@@liudizzle facts
Nothing to do with boycotting, its just that its expensive and people are broke now
So you claim , by your logic , if they slash prices .. sales should be back up significantly, no ?
@@analyticalmindset It might be too late for that now, but yes would they have slashed prices instead of bumping them up things might looked better for them now. You dont agree? whats your take then?
@@erikm9768 my claim is the effect of a global recession, boycotting in Asia , and not lowering the price to meet the new decreased demand led to this. To which degree each of those 3 factors contributed to it ... I don't think we have the data to properly debate that
Starbucks gave me diabetes 😅
so much dancing around & no one mentioned the elephant in the room: Boycott
Just say the boycott is working. More company will fall KraftMcDonald’s
I only boycott mcdonalds insane prices
Lol you trolls have no influence on the real world
@@bdegrds oh no 🙈
the people boycotting are all broke anyway.
half of them look homeless the other half have their faces wrapped in tablecloths.
the other side lets just say has a bit of money.
@@AdamSmithChill 😴
They are marketing as well , Boycotting 😂 these people are cartoons,
Go BDS!!!
Awful burnt coffee no selection in coffee. More like ice cream shop .
over hyped coffe
It's going to take Starbucks dropping their prices!
Maybe being more creative than selling sugar and caffeine.
Every one who bitch about how starbucks sucks has 0 knowledge about brand value… its all about selling mass market junk at a premium price. U think the louis vuitton u carry around is high quality? Think again
