I took my wife's last name, Paropa. Times are changing. I had nothing against my last name, but her and I aren't traditional. My original name was Gabriel Woodstock, and now it's Gabriel Paropa and I'm good with that.

I hyphenated my name. My husband and I had this conversation before we got married. He said he didn't care but knowing how sensitive he is I knew it would mean a lot to him seeing we wouldn't be having children. It would make us more of a family. There's always a wisdom in God's designs, including the family unit (man is the head, wife turns the neck lol) and when done right it's actually a beautiful symbiosis...but people are too prideful these days, women are tryna be men and everyone tryna get theirs - that kinda stuff has no place in a marriage.
