    Summary:
    - Make settled in your heart the certitude in Allah's unique greatness and power, so the power of these desires in comparison to Al-Jabbar, diminishes them
    - Flee from this created power to the power of Allah, and depend on him, by truly seeking refuge in Him, and constantly beseeching him
    - Constantly aware of our return to Allah in the final abode
    - Desire the sublime things of closeness to Allah and his prophets
    Experiential Remedies:
    - Mentioning the name Ya Qahhar 181 times a day
    - Repeating 100 times a day ayah هو الله الذي لا اله الا هو...
    - Abundant Salawat on the prophet SAW, with deep longing for meeting him
    - Abundant Istighfar
    Common concern:
    - Lapses in their worship will occur, and fear that will result in distance from Allah: this is a manifestation of human weakness, but is only fearsome if leads to

    The shaykh is right. However there are physically indicated causes for illness. Without knowing the exact symptoms of the questioner the shaykh can only give general advise as he did. If the ill person suffers from.alcohol or drug abuse then vitamin B3 in the form of niacin may help bi idhn Allah.
