I've been to Normanton Road many times during 2000 and 2015 but after that the standards have dropped considerably. There were a lot of great Desi places back then including Khyber Pass during this period and I used to go there a lot whenever I'm in Derby meeting some friends around there

You need to try Kayi Mezze and Grill in Mickleover, Derby. The food is high quality and the ambience is unique. It is unlike any other restaurant.

Bro - I'm from Derby - this place isn't somewhere I would recommend -- if u want a Kurdish style kebab - Kurdistan restaurant pear tree road is good --- other general places I would recommend - Crown Pizza - pear tree road donner is good - Royal kebab another gem - MKS burger truck Byron street is another gem - desi dera normanton road is one of the best places for karahi - their charsi karahi is. Killer , a must try

If you need to review the food outside, why don't you carry a small fold away table in the boot, there is another food reviewer on youtube who not only brings is own table, but also his own chair, he sits outside the shop and does his food review.

Tbh.. I'm very bias on any animal produce, because my pallet is very used to Asian culinary, so I love any meat to be spicy, otherwise it only justifies as plain meat cooked well. Some raw product do need to be covered up to taste better.. 😋🥰
