    That was an awesome sunset on the waterfront. I think reviewing Campsites is a really interesting UA-cam niche, hopefully it works out for you guys!

      Thanks so much. Definitely a small niche audience for Ontario Parks, but will be going international on some trips soon

    Wow, this park looks pretty cool. The boat ramp and beach look nice, I like the beach volley ball area. I like the campfire area that looks great too. The hiking trails look like a great way to explore the nature. Your videos are always so informative and full of details.

    Another great camping site review. I like that the beach isn't too far. I love the little trails through the forest. Great comfort station. Yes, fire! That's a gorgeous sunset. Some great hiking spots.

    Well done on the review, I enjoy your insightful and comprehensive park reviews. We are going to Awenda in late September, took the kids on a day visit and will go camping for the first time. Live less than an hour away so not to far.

    Another beautiful location - watch out for Poison Ivy though! Make sure you have Batman's number on speed dial should you encounter her! Love all the hikes they look all pretty easy but also pretty awesome!

    our favourite park...some of the electrical posts are far...but they do post that information so no one should be unaware (and they do sell cords if necessary)

    • @TheAverageTourist
      @TheAverageTourist  11 місяців тому

      It's a beautiful park, we enjoyed it. I always check the info online but our site was super close compared to other electrical posts. So that was more of a surprise to us.

    How come you always mange to find the most amazing camping sites! even better when they are set up right next to some amazing trails that you can spend the entire day exploring before coming back to your camp to enjoy the simple tranquil sounds of nature!

    What a nice park! Leaves of three, let it be is how I know to stay away from poison Ivy lol. And I don’t know how I feel about bikes being on trails where they should be prohibited. Now as a walker, you have to watch out for bikes. Also great the cell service is good as I would want to check the weather as well.

    • @TheAverageTourist
      @TheAverageTourist  11 місяців тому +1

      That's a good saying to remember! I wasn't a fan of the bikes on the trail - definitely had to watch around corners. Luckily it was only in one section.

    The sites at this park did look very nice...but having to use 3 to 4 extension cords at some locations seems quite inconvenient 😆

    • @TheAverageTourist
      @TheAverageTourist  11 місяців тому +1

      Yes they tell you on the site, but it's in meters so I'm sure plenty of people arrive unprepared if they weren't reading it clearly!
