Looks like an amazing adventure at Point Farms! The scenery is breathtaking, and I love how you captured the essence of camping in Ontario. This is great video I enjoyed watching
Such a beautiful area! I love this kind of place where you can combine the ambiance of the beach with hiking. The sea and the vegetation look amazing there.
I can definitely see why that brewery is popular. The food looks delicious. And that is great there is a store on site that will have some of things you may forgotten. And that little house to buy firewood is a nice touch.
Point Farms is one of my absolute all time favourite parks. We've been going there for decades. Took our kids when they were little and now we go with our kids and grandkids. Thanksgiving weekend is a must. Site decorating, trick or treating in the park, pumpkin carving, so much fun. Hiking, biking, the beach, what's not to love. We stay in Huron so it's radio free which is nice.
What a amazing beautiful place, I did not expect that lake to have the most beautiful beach!! Its a gem we never knew about for sure... Just gorgeous!! there are so many places that we don't know about for sure.. Makes me go there right now! Surrounding area is also so beautiful. I agree with you it seems like that same kind of atmosphere like Gilmore Girls.. Absolutely can see the similarities.. such a cute town!
That painting on the wall was beautiful. That sun, wow Visiting a jail, why not. I did visit Alcatraz a long time ago. Another great weekend trip, I think!
We absolutely love the Huron Coastline and Inverhuron is our go to park. Need to try Point Farms as we love Goderich. It’s such a nice drive to get to the area without having to deal with any of the 400 highways. Happy camping guys!
We still have to take a couple of the 400 highways to get there, but it's worth it for us. The Lake Huron parks are awesome 👌 Inverhuron is a great one too.
I've stayed at both Inverhuron and Point Farms, personally I like Point Farms better, Huron campground for the radio free aspect. MacGregor is another favourite.
It was so cool to find your video. We live about 2 minutes from point farms. A couple of suggestions: people should bring water shoes to the Goderich area or they can buy them at dollar stores or Walmart since the beaches here all have stones. Also there are lots of wineries and microbreweries nearby as well as tourist shops. Thanks for this
You live in a beautiful area! I can't wait to go back this summer to see more. We were just in Kincardine this past weekend for a winter adventure, and the Bruce/Huron County areas are such a great part of Ontario. Thanks for the tips.
@@TheAverageTourist that's a great idea!! We've spent a lot of time on Huron in the Manitoulin Island area but never in the actual parks. When you both feel adventurous, you should check out some of the cabins & lodges on Manitoulin. Spectacular.
Beautiful area. I'm going to have to mark this one down. Goderich looks like a cute town. Love me a good market. Lots of great local history. Sign me up for the winery. Just stopped at a winery in VA myself today. Beautiful trails.
Hello I just found your channel. I live near Goderich and I just bought a van to make into a camper when I feel like camping. I just camped for first time at Point Farms even though I live close and loved it. I’ve started a UA-cam channel also and having fun just documenting life 😊. You did. Great job with this video and showing the camp ground. The Goderich beach does have 2 beaches, one at each end of the boardwalk that are all sandy beach. The rock beach in the middle of the board walk is actually the dog park and where folks can launch paddle boards or canoes. Thanks for showing this area so well. It was fun watching from another’s perspective. My channel is My Cozy Retirement. I’m still learning but having fun. I’m assuming you’re Canadian also and maybe live in Ontario.
Congrats on the new van and hope the conversion goes smoothly! I'll have to check out your channel 😊 We are from Ontario and love to visit the Ontario Parks but we are on the other side of Toronto so the Lake Huron Parks are all about 3+ hours for us. We really liked Point Farms and the area. You're lucky to live so close! Happy camping.
Another good revue, with everything you need to know about the area. Also I use the app "all trails" you do not need cell coverage for navigation, and it show even the most obscure trails.
Hi There :-) awesome review as we have Point Farms on our list to go to for next year :-) What are the stools that your had next to the fire pit in the morning shot and where did you get them from ? ?
Thanks for watching! They are a 2 pack of step stools we got from Costco, and they completely fold flat. We mostly use them as foot rests, but they came in handy when I needed to brush off our awning on our other trailer or unhook our kayaks.
That's what we were saying. Still get the beautiful beach area and proximity to a town but much smaller park. Though, Pinery does have the river, which offers canoeing and kayaking options that Point Farms doesn't have.
The surrounding environment is truly amazing. I really enjoyed watching the video.❤
Glad you enjoyed it!

Yes, it was quite a peaceful place but also close to great amenities.
Great video. Very informative 👏. Surely if someone is visiting Point Farms must see.
Thanks so much!
We love Point Farms especially in the Fall. Such a beautiful park!
It really is!
I can definitely see why that brewery is popular. The food looks delicious. And that is great there is a store on site that will have some of things you may forgotten. And that little house to buy firewood is a nice touch.
Big fan of Point Farms! Awesome views!
Yes, such a nice park 👏

That sounds like a great time! It's a bit far for us, but for all of that fun, it might be worth the drive.
We love that water fill accessory too. This one is definitely on our list for next year!
It's pretty handy, actually! It's a great park, we will be back.

It was such a cute town and like you said there are so many places I need to see that I just haven't even heard about. Ontario is such a pretty place.

Point Farms is a nice little park, and Cowbell is a must do. Thanks for the video.
We really enjoyed it there, will definitely be back in the future. Thanks for watching!

Yes add it to your list! Maybe make a bigger trip out of it and hit a few parks on Lake Huron 👌

Yes you'll have to do an Ontario tour one day and hit up some of the hot spots and cute towns like this one 👌

Awesome video thank you

Hey great video makes me thing Point Farms would be a good alternative to the way too busy Pinery..
