Good take Jamey. "Lonesome, On'ry and Mean" was written by the late, great singer-songwriter Steve Young, and was picked by Waylon to be the title track of his 1973 album of the same name. Waylon changed a couple of words here and there. Steve actually wrote the song about trying to get clean and sober which most people don't know. Steve’s original track had a different beat and was a little slower, but all are great.
