I hope you don't mind Howard but I have posted a link to this and your other wonderful films on the Nelson Now and Then Facebook group. The members have been enjoying your work.
Thankyou Howard. Do you have a copy of the film that was made of Edge End high school just before it was demolished ? I'm sure it was made by Pendle Movie Makers and was Narrated by Mr Carrodice. I did have a copy of it on DVD but I can't find it now. I attended the reunion and noticed that the event was also being filmed, it would be great if you also had a copy of that. Kindest regards. Grant Walsh.
hi Grant I may have sent this message to you already, we had a malfuction yesterday and not sure all messages went out, however here it is again: I will get this film of edge end checked out although im not familiar with the narrators name mr. Carrodice.. However we have our meetings on the second Monday of every month so i will see what i can come up with .. best regards Howard..
Hi Howard, it's your neighbour here. Found your channel a week ago ans what a delight. I was born in 1981 in Burnley, but my Dad came over from the commonwealth aged 11 in 1964. Mr Carradice was our teacher at Edge End until it got knocked down in the noughties. His Mrs used to work in Nelson library. He's still alive, I believe.
Hi Iv found who made the film your looking for, its our chairman John Morgan on email JhnMrgn@aol.com if you can email him he will sort a copy out for you. all the very best Howard
