TOP 5 VEXILAR Modifications to IMPROVE your ICE FISHING SUCCESS! FL-18 & Genz Box Mods (DIY)

In today's ice fishing environment, mobility is king. Take your ice fishing skills to the next level with these five simple modifications to the standard Genz Box. I selected these five mods to specifically boost my speed, mobility, and efficiency while hole-hopping for panfish.
I purchased this Vexilar FL-18 from Scheels new this year and have nothing but positive feedback to share so far. My Vexilar FL-18 came mounted to a blue Genz Box, so I was eager to make some modifications to this prolific ice Fisherman's tool. I fancy myself a highly mobile ice anger, so I selected these five simple modifications to improve my success utilizing my Vexilar FL-18 Genz Box combination. These mods added very little weight to my sonar, and eliminated a significant amount of equipment I would have to haul around in my sled while hole hoping:
(1) Vexilar Glo-Ring w/ Switch
(2) LED Surface Light w/ Switch (connected to 12v Rechargeable AA Lithium Battery Box)
(3) Transducer Extension Arm
(4) Clam Rod Holders x2
(5) Ice Skimmer Holder
