Would love to hear more about your experience living in Greece! Looking to move there and don't have much info online so would super appreciate hearing more about the life, your struggles in the country etc.
Thank you! I haven't been active on youtube lately but I am planning on doing more videos in the near future. I will tag you in it once I make a new video. The struggles have definitely been real.

My parents was also Greeks from South Africa so I can understand how you feel right now My father for example had to start over from scratch In the 80s, when no one was speaking English and things was even worse from mindsets aspects Anyways I'm absolutely certain that you will make it South African always do 😉
Bravo for your dad!! It’s really not easy for someone moving to a new country & relearning a language and a new society. Do you live in Greece now? Or did they move back to South Africa?
@@Kleopatra.k my father was more fluent in Greek than my mother so the language barrier wasn't a big issue for him On the other hand finding a proper job was You because of the apartheid and the sanctions from European union any university degree wasn't recognized in Greece Aslo he didn't knew that he had a "double citizenship " he was registered in Greece without knowing That meant that he had to serve in the Greek army for 25 months only few years after serving in the south African one and had to go through a military court while I was born. If he had lost his wound have to serve 24 months plus..! Anyways he lived the rest of his life here in Greece, and as far as I know I have no relatives left in SA
Sounds like you need to go to university where you can earn a degree in Zoology or Wildlife Management. Not sure if there are any Greek unis that offer that option but I know of an university in Wichita, Kansas which has a bachelor's degree in Zoology. The name is Friends University. Good luck.
Do what you love and feel to do, ignore negative energy, block them and live your life, sadly the internet can be a very bad place. But who cares you doing a great job :-) I am also a Greek guy born in Germany and lived for ten year in Athens, still miss it, because I had a great time and met beautiful people. Unfortunately the state apparat in Greece is so corrupted and they are not giving any chance to them own people, is difficult to live in Greece, jobwise and salary wise it was not worth it, so I had to leave too. :-( I also understand how you are feeling, I know what you mean, but for me as a person I always carefully what people I met and hang out, I see everything as an experience, about mindset yeah I totally understand what you mean. But depends again what people you meet, same issue I had in Germany :-) We Greeks from Germany unfortunately never felt home there, we always felt strangers and as immigrants, they separating you. Now me and my wife and kid we live in Cyprus and our best friends are also from South Africa, they really miss it and they feel there home, there I realized the difference between Greeks in SA and Germany. I imagine is difficult to leave your home, this is how I felt when I had to leave Greece again. SA is such a beautiful country and them people are so friendly. I hope one day everything will get better and more safe. Keep going, much positive energy to you :-D
I completely understand you! Thank you for sharing your experience. I hope you & your family are happy in Cyprus. Moving countries is difficult & also not knowing how to feel about where you come from. Sometimes it can feel overwhelming feeling unsure of where you belong. I have felt like that for a long time now but slowly it is getting better. It’s sad that Greece is such a beautiful country but cannot take care of their people.
There are mean and rude people everywhere. They exist in Greece too. Don't pay attention to them. They don't deserve it. Be yourself and do whatever you like 🙂 Nice channel btw

I would love to but leaving overseas to study is not an option for me at the moment. I hope I can find a future solution! Thanks for the advice. :)

Hey cleopatra love from india💓
Love from greece!
You well come to Greece Cleopatra
thank you!!
South Africa is super dangerous… you are very lucky to get out
Johannesburg is quite bad, Cape town is a bit better. I hope the situation improves one day because its such a beautiful country and I miss it dearly.
I don't think South Africa is a country at all.
It is, it just has a lot of human rights issues. ?
Turkey the best
I love Bodrum & all the islands. Turkey is beautiful & has delicious food!
That's one barbaric ethnic country you don't want to get there .. believe me!!!
The government is a mess in Turkey but the Turkish people are not bad people. When I was there, I was given so much respect and love from all of them.
Υου are a traveler.... me i hate plains i only stay in greece... its safe here....
