- There are many threads in many forums and many videos out there since 2018 but I still see the questions popping up.
Here is, from A to Z, from beginner to expert... the most you can do with your DPMS SBR stock.

I've been searching for a video like this since last year when i got my SBR, and I finally found a helpful video, this video deserves so much more love!

Mate, I bought a rotary tool from amazon for 30 bucks and bought a set of burrs for 10. Grinded down the metal bars. Sanded it and then polished it all with the same tool. Although, you're right, it isnt an easy job. I did the mod then realised my mil spec stock doesnt quite fit lol. Had to grind, sand and polish all over again haha. Im going to spray it tomorrow and hopefully i should be done with it. Its really annoying that they chose not to give it the same buffer tube as the R1. The black R1 was never released in the UK so this literally was my only option. Im glad i did it though. I hated the stock it came with
Nice! Yeah that's why I mention to pick your stock first, so you can get that perfect fit.

where do I go to just get a stock for the dpms
The stock on the dpms model is a crosman molded piece of plastic. I'm afraid crosman does not sell replacement parts.

they say that Either a Pellet Magazine or a Pellet shooting Version of the DPMS. is in the works

Hmm, interesting. Must admit I haven't heard that one myself or seen it in the forums. I dont think it's impossible but it would be an entirely new rifle model seeing as pellets dont fit into the existing dpms/r1/A4-P barrel and the magazine is designed to run spherical steel bbs specifically. Not to mention we would probably lose a few replica functions like lockback on last shot.
Soo not impossible but it wouldn't be a dpms or be compatible with existing models.

@@joseglenn20 yeah, I'm always tempted by the sig mcx models to get pellet performance in a replica but I figure I could go "real" HPA if I really wanted something with repeatable performance and the loss of the few replica functions and molded plastic levers and switched kinda bums me out hehe.

I converted one of the 90 cc Co2
Bottles into a HPA tank witha Male pcp vaulve in the back end it wroks Great.

how can I add a folding stock ?,
Will not be possible seeing as the buffer tube is required for the airgun to function.
@@RWMAirgunsmithing but if we tread or machine it,so it fits the folding part
@@mr.bigcommonsense3089 hmm true, i guess i cant say it is impossible but it would be one crazy tinkering job. Would have to modify the buffer tube, lower receiver and fcg if you can find an adapter with the proper sizes.

It doesn't really with regards to the BB, it would only help with the shoulder anchor point and cheek weld. Many would prefer having a more traditional stock(aesthetics) and taller shooters might have the "cheek biter" section right in their face. Thanks for watching!

Thanks for feedback, I am totally aware my production value is low. I know what I want to say but don't really have the time or the GPU to script, make brolls and edit... i focus more on not being wrong.

Why is all plural every time you say it? As far as i know all means all. Like every single one. If you have more than one all then you didnt have em all in the first place. That's alls i wanted to say.

Good video info! I have been busy customizing the A4P and the AK1, I haven't fitted the R1 buffer tube to my DPMS yet.

@@RWMAirgunsmithing For the AK1 I ended up just putting a genuine magpul AK pistol grip and a amazon magpul styled CTR stock on, added a cheap airsoft handstop type forward grip w/ qd sling mount and a knock off Eotech. I tried to add some Zombie green color to it now and make it the Zombie Hunter. It came out pretty nice I'm happy with it thus far.
For the A4P I added a amazon pistol brace and a amazon magpul styled AFG, added a rail qd sling mount, used the basic red-dot it came with and put the DPMS back up sights on, spray painted the A4P buffer tube black and it holding up ok. I'm happy with how this one came out thus far also!
@@RWMAirgunsmithing Looking forward to seeing your pistol grip fitment method, I hacked up a grip trying to get a perfect fit. I have seen some modder's replacing the Crosman mag bodies with Pmag or other genuine type mag bodies, have you tried this yet?
@@donye_mfkn_east8161 nice! How is the sight over bore and the low stock going with the eotech? I just slapped a red dot with no riser on mine.
