This video is giving me false confidence about putting in the diffuser and lip myself LOL. But I think I am going to go for it. LOVING my 440. Everytime I see a reflection, or walk back to my parked car - it gives me butterflies. Very grateful.
Congratulations. I owned 2 e90s brand new. Had I own what I've learned from you, I would have kept it. Thank you for the quality content as always. Greetings from Auckland.
Right on time! We were thinking about trading our e92 for one of these and now I KNOW WE NEED TO GET IT! Great content. Looking forward to following along 👍🏽
got my f36 440i last year and its been a blast, super reliable and really fast for a gen 1 thats been kept stock, thats going to change now tho bout to start doing similar mods super ampeddd
Wife: "Honey, I can't find my credit card...have you seen it by chance?" Nice score. I really like the look and functionality of the G.C. Should be great series, danke! 💪🏻
+side skirt blades +spacers +tint + may be different rims from bmw oem + adaptive leds + couple parts from f80 m3 ( seats, seat belts etc..) + unlimited engine mods 🚀
Wow! I’m actually contemplating on either getting a 440i Gran Coupe and tune that B58 or wait and buy an M4. Great video! Gives a good idea of what it would look like modded.
damn I never realized the whole rear end lifts up like a hatch on the Gran coupes. That is actually pretty useful since they won't bring a 6 cyl wagon over
Awesome man, love your channel. There’s a few great bmw channels, and they all differ and cover different angles. Yours may be the most practical for someone like me, not just entertainment but many times educational/instructional. I love every video. Is it over for n20 f30 content?
Thanks man, I wanted to get my hands on the N20 to cover the timing chain problems and turbo failure issues which I was able to do between two cars. So if another one comes my way that needs work I'd consider picking it up to see about tuning one etc.
@@VehicularDIY sounds good brother. Whatever you do, I’ll be tuned in. Branching out to other bmw chassis and engines, I believe was the smartest thing you could’ve done. I know I’m not the only one that appreciates it.
Hey! Awesome video! like the style of the parts you chose!👍 Just want to add a little tip about editing, you can cut the audio and keep the video, while you behind the camera, so you will have a steady picture or record everything as you do, but at the end make a couple of smooth shot shifting from one side to another, and put it on the top of edited video. hope you get where I'm going)) lol😅.(that just and idea) you making great content! long time follower!)
Really looking forward to this build. I'm probably going to this car. I like the room in the back. I have 393,000 miles on my E60 530I still runs great, but loving the 4
Only $27k for that car!?! Wow... Here is Australia you can't get a 2018 440i for much less than $70k + taxes. Very envious! Anyway great video, it's an awesome car. Can't wait to see what you do with it!
Long time subscriber here and even Installed many mods on my car based on the videos you post on here everything from the wireless charger to the stage 3 pump, building Audi coils for a friend, coding, etc. it kind of hurts when you only mentioned n54 guys because I have a n55.
Always wanted this car! But couldnt efford it :/ So i bought a 335i GT with full msport in and outside, and i am pretty satisfied with this, but if i can ever effort upgrading, i will get this thing! And apply all these mods because this thing looks jawdropping! *.*
I have an F32 N55 (435 x drive) I had to replace the valve cover and gasket, oil cooler gasket , oil filter housing gasket and the oil filter cap due to leaking. It has 92k Miles and running well ! Oil pan gasket replacement will likely be next.
I can’t wait to get my first B58! Although, I’m thinking it’ll be in the form of the x3 M40i then I can go full send on the 335. I can’t wait to have just as much of your quality content for the B58 as well.
I am thinking of getting one just because I want to put a cool exhaust and have a six speed. I know those engines have some problems but that would be your job to investigate their problems and find a cure
Only question..where do place the jack to lift up the whole front of car? Even my Jeep can't be lifted from that spot. I can't wait to get one of these, next year. The hatch is what sold me on it. ❤😊
You can code f series cars, so trunk doest close so hard with a hit. I have done it with my f31. In trunk module search for segment amd there was about 10 values for closing speed and 10 values for opening speed. Just lower progressivly last 3 or 4 values and voila.
I got mhds upgraded hpfp map, it’s nice, I also got xhp and tuned the launch to 11 21. Mg flasher is more aggressive. Bm3 is slower. I’m on 93 but they got e maps
i think the 440i msport bumper is one of the most aggressive but stylish bumpers bmw ever designed, even better than the 340i. i have the same car in SRB and im one of the few who find those black or cf front lips that cover the stock lip ugly, destroying that beautiful design, unless the car is black too. however yours doesn't do that, and even if it does, it's the same color.
Great content my man. I'd kill to be your neighbor, I'd constantly be bugging you to let me peer over your shoulder during your projects lol... and to maybe let me borrow the occasional tool...
Awesome!! can't wait for the upcoming content on this B58, can u do a video on your G80 ownership experience thus far what its like to drive etc. Would love to hear your particular perspective on it, BTW is it true they dropped valvetronic on the S58?
Nice! I saw that you are keen on tuning the engine. What about improving the stopping power? Not talking a bbk brembo, ap racing or alcon set, but something more DIYer accessible such as taking mustang, alfas or mech calipers from salvage cars. I would love your technical input on that.
Your videos are starting to be for show only I really miss the details you used to provide In this video, I really wanted to know where the clips are for the side view mirror cover and front grill and how you enforced the front lip, additional to the two sided tape, was it with screws? I know I would have it done when I do it with my car but it’s more easy when I know how people did it Keep on the good work 👍🏼
I've just been following the analytics and sadly the only way to make this feasible is to cover the important details and what I try to do is leave everything in but speed it up so worst case you can pause the video. Audience retention is the difference between a video that will or won't be successful. I wish it wasn't like that but peoples attention spans are getting shorter and shorter. I wouldn't have been able to afford the car without the UA-cam revenue so it's a catch 22 as you have to structure your content around the algorithm. I used zip ties through the holes that allow you to screw into the undertray to position the lip then I used double sided tape to hold the lip then I used screws that are supplied with the lip at the front to hold it tight and when you put the original screws through to the undertray it's completely supported. The clips are the same on all these mirrors, I did a video on my M340i and E90 covering that in more detail if you want to check those out.
@@VehicularDIY I really appreciate you taking the time to reply and explain; thank you I really wanted you to know my opinion as I care about your content and hard work , keep on the hark work
I absolutely love your channel. A bit envious that you get to find cars like that, to be honest. Where I live, you need to kiss dealer's ass to sell you a car at MSRP and used BMW market is basically relegated to stripper soccer mom SUVs. C'est la vie! Serwus!
I just bought a 2019 440i with 33k miles Certified pre owned for 37k before tax with 2 year warranty bumper to bumper left. So I think I got a pretty good deal of you bought this for 27kish with 108k? Excited for the mods 💪
Was thinking of the same thing when I saw a nice one with an all merino leather interior. I think it was about $38K at the dealer. Since I did not really need it and I want to keep my E92 335is, I passed.
I passed up a 2016 M240i 6 speed for 25K, 98K Miles, I am a huge fan of the B58, but worried about early models, as I was shown a lot of them being reliable up until catastrophic engine failure.
Wow that look so much better, you are great at modifying car. I have an LCI white F10 with M trim. Would you modify the mirror cap and the rear diffuser with a more aggressive spoiler ? I am hesitant to do it without changing the suspension. What do you think ? Congratz with your new purchase.
hey, would there be a chance to get an update video on the turbo install for the n54? i was looking to get the same ones and i dont think i could ever find an update video on how they held up, thanks!
This channel deserves much more views. Way better than over-reacting high pitch fast talking car channels. I love your calm voice.
This video is giving me false confidence about putting in the diffuser and lip myself LOL. But I think I am going to go for it. LOVING my 440. Everytime I see a reflection, or walk back to my parked car - it gives me butterflies. Very grateful.
I’d love to see a video on the financial aspects of running a channel like this!
me too, so i can justify spending the money on my car lmao
This is a great idea
Best bmw channel hands down been following you for awhile I can’t wait for more content
Thanks for picking this model, great choice
Yes man i love this, i just bought a 80k mile 2016 340i and i need some gen 1 specific channels, you the man!
Excited to watch this b58 content, mostly the tuning stuff
This just made my day, just switched from e92 335xi N54 and f30 335xi, to a LCI M240xi! Been watching for years. B58 FTW!!!
Congrats!
As a b46 owner I’m looking forward to it. Love how lots of b58 info also applies to the 46/48.
Oh man you posted a video, i was already having a pretty good day but now its even better keep er goin bruther!!!
Man your real name for this channel it's bmw fanatic you are a true lover of the brand , 💪💪
Cool! Watching you channel 2 years. Thanks for a lot of information and advices! Best regards from Toronto Canada.

On the LCI 440i they stiffened up the suspension which helps with feeling the road. I think the steering feel would be a big determining factor.
And it has new lights new aprons and a digital instrument panel as an option as well as new I drive
The use market is so insane right now! Looking forward to this series.
Bro, good job, man! I like your technique with installation. Clean!
damn I never realized the whole rear end lifts up like a hatch on the Gran coupes. That is actually pretty useful since they won't bring a 6 cyl wagon over
Same. Seems way more practical than the f30 sedan!
I have the N26 version (428i) and while not a quick it's awesome daily driver. The back hatch is hugely helpful.
Yea is awesome. I'm a mfg. Rep and have to carry stuff...so this car would be perfect
N54 guy here, really looking forward to this
Same here, also N54 guy. HAHA hope the E90 don't get sold.
yay b58 content !! & congratulations with your new purchase.

You answered my question about the n20 at the very end. Fair enough. Looking forward to the f36 b58.

Enjoying the content. Glad i stumbled on the channel.
Nice! Looking forward to seeing this car and the content you create with it. Actually love the power/practicality combo of the f36 with b58!
Looking forward to some great content as this car has been on my radar for a while…👍
That 440i Gran Coupe is an amazing all-around daily wow. Much better than the 328i sedan.
Has an OEM+ look. Very tasteful.
looks siiick, love that its a xdrive b58. its gonna be sick as a stop light racer
Very tasteful mods my man. Look forward to this series !
Crazy how a couple hundred dollars of exterior mods change the whole aspect of a car haha dope
Beautiful transformation great work bro👍
I would add some gloss wheels and maybe gloss black roof wrap and this thing would be set. Sick car!
Oooh Carbon Black, really awesome color.
Best channel everytime

Mint. i just got a 2016 435i GC M Sport and love it. If it checks out after my warranty is up i’ll manual swap it ayyye 😂
Great idea to get new content on GC, I've been planning to snatch one too!

The G80 wheels would look great on this car. Would give you another reason to get a more aggressive set for the G80 as well
Have a 2019 440i grande coupe as well. Lease is up in 45 days, can’t decide to turn in or keep it. Has 29k miles only.
I have an F32 N55 (435 x drive) I had to replace the valve cover and gasket, oil cooler gasket , oil filter housing gasket and the oil filter cap due to leaking. It has 92k Miles and running well ! Oil pan gasket replacement will likely be next.
Yeah pretty common failure points but now that you've tackled them you should be good for a few more years.

I own a BMW 335i e90 2007 full bolt ons, I think it’s time to upgrade to this one 👍💯
This thing would look crazy with 437m's and some spacers
Additional videos of you retrofitting every option would be cool (tear shades, full LED headlights, etc.)
Yeah might be worth looking into the full LEDs if I can find them for a good deal.
Happy to see another project ✅
VERY STOKED FOR WORK ON THIS CAR!

Another great video with great content. thanks 👍
One of my clients has one in their garage that has never moved in 4 years. I'm always like "whats a Gran Coupe?"
Can you do a cluster swap again, i would love to see the modern line gauge faces in this car
I'll see what options are out there.
