"The REVENGE of Michael Myers" So like... What was he doing before? And how does this series of murders is different from the other series of murders he did in the past?
Raise your hand if you grew up on cinemasins so you nitpick every movie you watch 😂 (this channel started in 2012 I caught onto it around 2014 it’s been a decade of cinemasins)
The river scene made me remember that when I was young and saw these, I legit thought that the hair on the mask was his actual hair. I don't know why, but that's what I thought 😅
All the dumb things in Halloween 5: - Michael spending a whole year in hibernation - The marking on Michael's wrist - That mask - Rachel gets killed off - Jamie is a mute who has a psychic link with Michael - Tina - The bumbling cops' theme in this movie - Tina's boyfriend is named Michael - The Myers house - The Man in Black - A character named Spitz - Michael in chains inside a jail cell - Loomis in the 3rd act - Michael gets defeated by tranquilizers, a net, and 2x4 plank
Oh great! I was up until 4am watching Halloween 5 just last night. I was kinda bummed because i thought id have to wait until next year for a cinemasins review of this movie. Well, its out today. Thanks Cinemasins!
It honestly got really old how Michael kept managing to kill his prey from previous films in the opening minutes of the next film. Horror movies do this a lot and it's basically the genre equivalent to Thanos easily kicking the shit out of the Hulk in the beginning of Infinity War. Like see that guys? This villain is SERIOUS. Stop introducing all these likeable heroes just to immediately kill them off in the next film just to set the tone that shit just got real. It's lazy.
Missed a sin. In the scene in front of the store, as Michael is looking at his car, as the camera follows him, the reflection of the cameraman can be seen in the chrome of the side mirror.
Killing off Rachel always bugged the heck out of me. She was so badass in part 4, and for her to go out like that... Gah!! 😡 It's like when they killed off Officer Lewis in Robocop 3 😔
Another sin - in Halloween 4, Myers killed the entire police force. In one year, they were able to rehire to full capacity and then some? Everyone would know about the massacre
It's a beautifully crafted, classic slasher movie...among the best of its' kind ever made...Sure, there's a moment or two that I could do without...but in the face of all that the film got, not just right, but absolutely PERFECT...the few missteps are irrelevant....and if you like the classic Halloween motif, you don't really have a lot to choose from....Traditional Halloween movies were made exactly FOUR times...1, 2, 4, and 5. Nothing else in the series even TRIES to recapture that vintage Haddonfield aura...
Now I’m gonna be racking my brain cause I am trying so hard to figure out the “ completely out of hand “ outtake at the end, I can’t remember where I heard it 😂😂
At 7:00 Jeremy can't seem to figure out that birthdays exist; Perhaps Rachel was 7 and then turned 8 that year and now since the movie is one year later, her birthday passed and she's 9.
Yeah I mean H6 she’s 15. So in H4 she can be like 7 going on 8 with a birthday near thanksgiving. Then in H5 she can be close enough to 9 that it’s entirely reasonable to call a child by the age they’ll be in, say, 30 days. If her birthday is close to Halloween it makes perfect sense. I wouldn’t think too hard about it lol these sins usually don’t hold up or have a plot necessity which literally defeats the purpose. Rarely is it just an outright error but this possibly is one.
You mention that Rachel couldn't detect Michael's scent because you stated that he hasn't bathed in years and yet him floating down the river at the beginning of the movie obviously means nothing then.
How can no one see that we can see Michael wearing the H5 mask when he crawls into and floats down the river? It's as plain as day! The sin should've been that Michael magically changes masks between getting shot and going for a swim. Did he find the mask in the shaft and decide, "They won't recognize me if I put this different mask on!"
This is my 3rd fave film in franchise And my 2nd fave sequel 1,4,5 and 8 Yes that’s right I said 8 Happy Halloween everybody My favorite day of entire year 🎃
I've seen these movies so many times over the years, and there are still some things I never noticed until watching a review/recap. I didn't realize Michael massacred the clinic. Lol I always thought Jamie was in on Loomis' plan and started saying "Billy" at the Myers house to get the cops to leave. 🤷🏼♀️ Although thinking about it now, Billy would have been taken to the hospital and not the clinic right? Idk. Lol
"I hoped he'd burn in hell. But I knew in my heart that hell would not have him." Thats actually a great line.
That line is too good for this movie.
@@rururu5630 It's a great line, in a great movie. It's one specific great moment among a myriad...
@@tgriffin3059Halloween 5 is the worst one in the whole series

Calling "Halloween" a "Choose-your-own-adventure" series is something I somehow never considered before, yet is so perfect a word for it.
Really? It gets said a lot when it comes to this series lol.
For sure there's at least 3or4 different time lines in the series
Donald Pleasence and Danielle Harris' performances in this film deserved an infinitely better script.
Fully agree
Agree. And Ellie Cornell deserved a much bigger role.

"The REVENGE of Michael Myers"
So like... What was he doing before? And how does this series of murders is different from the other series of murders he did in the past?
Michael Myers is like an organic Terminator who can't be stopped in his tracks in a nutshell.
Cameron said Halloween was an inspiration for The Terminator.
I can see that Jamie went to the Home Alone 2 school of aging two years in a single year.
Raise your hand if you grew up on cinemasins so you nitpick every movie you watch 😂 (this channel started in 2012 I caught onto it around 2014 it’s been a decade of cinemasins)
Definitely didn’t grow up on cinemasins, but found my ilk with those who criticize and scrutinize every detail of a movie.
i don’t nitpick but i did grew up on cinemasins ;)
I'd raise them but, I don't want to block my fellow nitpickers. Here's a sin for not thinking of your fellow nitpickers! ::DING::
I say "Roll credits DING" every time someone drops a title in a movie and it's all because of this series.
I have sinned many movies and then made a ding noise. And my husband knows immediately what I'm doing
I told my sister to take a shot every time a character said Tina's name.
Her funeral is this weekend.
RIP Sis.
Gonna do this with bong rips brb
Dude
Fucking funny
1000 Hahas 🤪
I missed Rachel in this movie.
Biggest sin was wrecking a 1967 Camaro convertible.
In regards to the Jamie's age, they aged her up since Danielle Harris was 11 when filming. They figured people would not believe she was 8.
We would’ve believed it 😂
Happy Halloween Cinema Sins. This is one I’ve been dying for you to cover. 🎃
Can’t wait for Halloween 6
The river scene made me remember that when I was young and saw these, I legit thought that the hair on the mask was his actual hair.
I don't know why, but that's what I thought 😅
Michael Myers enjoys a very enthusiastic walk under the moonlight, alright.
"VERY" enthusiastic walks
All the dumb things in Halloween 5:
- Michael spending a whole year in hibernation
- The marking on Michael's wrist
- That mask
- Rachel gets killed off
- Jamie is a mute who has a psychic link with Michael
- Tina
- The bumbling cops' theme in this movie
- Tina's boyfriend is named Michael
- The Myers house
- The Man in Black
- A character named Spitz
- Michael in chains inside a jail cell
- Loomis in the 3rd act
- Michael gets defeated by tranquilizers, a net, and 2x4 plank
Also Michael is wearing a sqare life jacket under his outfit while floating down the river
A circular saw is also known as a buzzsaw, which as gnarly as fuck, eat it
Fun fact: the alcohol industry almost went out of business in the 80s since it took from sunrise to sunset to put three cases of beer in a car.

Let’s be real. Between Halloween 4 and Halloween Resurrection all the films just blur together
dude 9:41, the fuck is up with the marlboro man at the counter in the doorway, that's some damn good product placement right there, they went all out
And the Cookie Lady 😊
My best friend will love this episode we both been saying can't they smell Michael lol
For some reason Halloween 4 and 5 are hard to find.
The Halloween franchise has one of the most chaotic timelines of any Hollywood movie franchise.
17:14 "panic attacks every time she walks into a Cracker Barrel" that kills me
So glad you did the whole Franchise. I will always be a fan of CinemaSins

One of Michael's most lovable attributes is his disdain towards premarital sex. I love that even the embodiment of evil knows where to draw the line

I love Danielle Harris! ❤
Nobody:
Hacksaw Jim Dugan: Hoooo!!
Danielle Harris was really good in both her movies of the franchise. Really impressive if you consider how young she was.
I have asked this for every single one of these. It has to be tonight. Does evil die tonight
Happy Halloween I'm actually going to dress up as Michael Myers today ❤
"choose your own adventure franchise" HAHAHAHAHA!!!
Happy Halloween to everyone at cinemasins. 🎃🔪
I loved this trilogy of films.
Also should've sinned the obvious prop knife used to stab Tina. 😂
11:10 Because the Sheriff is manhandling an innocent bystander himself when questioning Loomis about his manhandling a child.
Happy Halloween! And when you have the chance and if you're thinking twice about it just remember, "Everyone's entitled to one good scare."
Well, now we know one thing for certain. Dr. Loomis can't count!
Happy Halloween, Sin Crew 🎃!
Happy Halloween cinema sinners 👻🎃🧡
You have to do Halloween 6 too!! Finish the trilogy!!
Happy Halloween, Cinema Sins!🎃👻😄
You made my Halloween thanks boys❤❤
We all knew the "clown music" cops was a surefire sin with this one.
Now this is what I needed today!
Now I’m gonna be racking my brain cause I am trying so hard to figure out the “ completely out of hand “ outtake at the end, I can’t remember where I heard it 😂😂
Of course I figured it out when I stopped thinking about it 😂😂😂
Michael Myers is a Highlander and can Only be Killed by a De-heading.
Yes
You guys gotta do halloween resurrection !!

It doesn’t mean nearly as much as you believe floating down a river constitutes bathing
She was high thanks to Tina.
RIVER water would accentuate the smell a lil razzle on top of the dazzle
Happy Halloween folks from cinemasins enjoy Halloween 5 sins
Suddenly, I want to see Pacino play Loomis.
i JUST watched these and was like “oh cool an old cinemasins video”
As I prepare to watch this, I wonder to myself, "Exactly how many sins will Tina get just for being Tina?"
Yes
Looking forward for the next one!
only 3 movies left and the halloween franchise will be sinned in it's entirety
the curse of michael myers, ressurection and the 2nd rob zombie film
Fun fact: Vincent Drugstore is also the same place the kids in The Sandlot purchase their baseballs. It's located in Midvale, UT.
11:13 You should've added a sin for the fact that Jamie is more concerned about her sister's best friend than she is about her own sister.
Dave McRae will fight to the death that the maintenance man wasn’t the one in the bushes it was Myers
Michael can’t swim. It was the hockey pads keeping him afloat.
“I’ll add it to watch later”
U guess now is later
Sin removed for Michael not killing and eating the kittens.
You shouldn't have sinned the cat jump scare. Michael kicked the cat to her.
After they shoot him at the cemetery, drop dynamite into the sink hole of a grave. THEY NEVER CHECK for the remains of body!
I would be worried about that Annabelle doll
I still think it's funny that Halloween got a bunch of sequels even though those movies are not that great😂
Love how you made fun of this movie at the end.
i think the halloween movie sins are some are some of the best! cinemasins is great😁👍🏾
Was not expecting a "Ruthless People" reference today. Nice! 20:41
This is my 3rd fave film in franchise
And my 2nd fave sequel
1,4,5 and 8
Yes that’s right I said 8
Happy Halloween everybody
My favorite day of entire year 🎃
23 likes in a minute, bro fell off
Weirdest decision in this movie was killing off Jamie's actual sister and then bringing in that character's best friend and making a surrogate sister
Happy BLESSED Halloween Everyone🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃
Y'all gotta do Halloween 6 and Resurrection now 💯

Please do Halloween 6!!!
The Sentence: Tina
There I fixed it.

Friday the 13th when ?
Another year of y'all not doing Halloween Town is crazy
13:57 Spelling "rap" as "wrap" because you didn't know it's short for "rapport."
Cookie Woman immediately made me think of Super Troopers.
Oh yes, I've been waiting for this!
The interesting thing about the Halloween franchise isn’t which best, but which is the worst. And it’s still my favorite horror franchise
