I cant even drink coffee out of my squiggly straw i see the club people arround the squiggly thing all I see in my head is a rule and a weave in and out of foot traffic Is DRIVING ME BONKAS
Sweet! As soon as my knee has healed I'm practicing these. Love tables but never twisted my wrist around the grip, great tip for getting them flatter! Cheers GMBN
Why it's been the epic classic since the 80's, nothing better then a super stalled out one and dudes that send them practically inverted (usually on a hip)... I mean, what looks better?
GMBN Thank you for teaching me some trick and skill, it helped so much. Im 16 years old and I really want to hit some real trail but there arent any near me. Just a construction station up the hill where I practice cornering and jumps.
'your mates are going to think you're silly.' The jokes about 'the wheels go at the bottom mate' will be worth it!!! I'm not a jumper but I never saw this tip before and it rocks! I'll probably use it to try to figure out how to get bunny hops correct.
Honestly I’ve watch this video about 10 times now and to me it looks like you’re throwing a fat dab with the arms, only instead of throwing the Crossbody arm over your face it goes over your chest. Thank you for all the help dude you rock 🤟
I want to learn that right now , more then everthing. Just for fun , for me and your explaining is the best of the best. I just need to win some litle Fear and GO- GO - PRO ;)
Why are your cables not routed inside your frame when your bike is designed for that? Is it something to do with manoeuvrability in the air or something like that? Cheers, great video, I'll be sure to give it a go when I'm brave enough to jump!
#askgmbn when im practising a table top i prefer pushing my bike to the left, but when im in the air i automatically push right. Which side should i try to progress?
Does Blake do it different than most.. seems like most people tuck the same side hand as the forward foot (right foot forward = right hand close to body). Blake is tucking left hand with right foot forward...
AJ Sacote every now and again there's a phantom video that gets announced and sounds amazing but never appears- I think the last one was something about crash testing helmets 😂
Please do a basics bike handling tutorial for all those guys that are showing up at the park or trail and eating shit. Basics like being loose on the bike, the can-do anything position of ass off the back and lightly covering the brakes, shifting the bike under you from side to side and very important looking the pan and scan, look where you want to go but scan back to utilize the trial.
Ive got a question..... Im riding clipless pedals so just wanted to know if it is still possible to throw a tabletop like this.... Because you cant rotate you feet on tbe pedals..? Thanks
I ride clipless pedals and can tabletop. although I do feel the twist/bend in my ankles while doing it... I've only every come accidentally un clipped 2 times. I actually find it easier with clips because you can push and pull the bike in the air with your feet to get it into the right position... just a bit more scary
hapiman97 don't learn tricks with clips learn on flats it's safer and develops better technique most offroad clips have reasonable latteral movement to allow all but the flattest of tables ;)
PLEASE HELP!!!! every time i pull up on my front forks, when they come completely extended (the rebound has finished) i hear this bang noise as if something inside my shock is hitting another part. it has happened to all of my last 3 coil suspension forks. if anyone else has the fix please let me know it would be greatly appriciated :)
and when i stand on my bike and the front forks compress, there is no compression for about a centemeter, its just free moving up and down. i know they are probably broken and i need to replace them but if there is a way fix it would be greatly appriciated
thanks Calvin Chang thats probably what ill have to do. any suggestions for forks? i have a custom trek jack 2 (hardtail) turned single gear but haven't upgraded forks yet (manitou splice) and i use it for stunts like a dirt jumper; high drops, jumps, and downhill shredding on our local trail.
By attempting the trick using the techniques shown, moving your hips, sliding your hand around and keeping you knees in. It won't be flat straight away so by nailing the techniques you'll progress by your tables getting flatter and flatter
Ive got a giro montaro and a tld d3 but for some reason everytime i fall my head slams the ground first sooooo i dont feel so secure when wearing the half lid :(
Ive gone out on my trail bike with a neck brace and full face. gives me confidence to try new stuff. I want to keep riding as long as possible, and crashing is part of getting better. If you know you are at a higher risk for crashing, put on more gear. Plenty of people at my local spots wear full face for DJ
Calvin Chang man don't worry, I wear my full face too almost everywhere. When I started riding I didn't have a downhill full face and I even used my motorbike helmet. Protection is protection man if you got any then use what you've got and shred it safely! :D
Was building my ikea table and now it is flatter than netherland thanks blake
Bobimnot best comment

Sweet! As soon as my knee has healed I'm practicing these.
Love tables but never twisted my wrist around the grip, great tip for getting them flatter!
Cheers GMBN
That white GMBN shirt is just fire!
Always had trouble with tables, great tips!
How to backflip, pls Blake.I'll never be able to do it but still...
The death grip tip is actually very good! It allows you to maneuver the handle bars easier and further.
You guys rock really makes me stoked to ride my bike and be a British 🤙🤙
Henry Wilson990 i also love being a British 😂😂😂wtfs a British
poolehart He's born in Zimbabve
poolehart yeah but the rest of them are

I could watch tabletops all day long
Why it's been the epic classic since the 80's, nothing better then a super stalled out one and dudes that send them practically inverted (usually on a hip)... I mean, what looks better?

get a spade and make one
Best video for learning a table top, awesome job!
just got back from my ride to this. what a day
'your mates are going to think you're silly.' The jokes about 'the wheels go at the bottom mate' will be worth it!!! I'm not a jumper but I never saw this tip before and it rocks! I'll probably use it to try to figure out how to get bunny hops correct.
Thanks for your advices, I'll try keeping them in mind when I hit the trails next time!
Blakes content is the best for me🤘 keep stuff going
Honestly I’ve watch this video about 10 times now and to me it looks like you’re throwing a fat dab with the arms, only instead of throwing the Crossbody arm over your face it goes over your chest. Thank you for all the help dude you rock 🤟
thx blake just landed the best tabletop i have ever done!!!!!!
I only do xc but I like your channel and your videos rich information on the mtb
Does it matter which foot you ride with forward? Blake is riding right foot forward and twisting left hand in.
Great tipps!
Blake you are the bomb brotha
Great tips, thank you brother
I've been working on the squashy leg, Blake be consistent :P
CP Gang socks🤘 great work Blake😉😉😉
This is a fantastic tutorial, great job!
Top lad! Cheers for that.
Nice whip
Excellent tute!
Dang that’s very helpful. Thanks🤙
Unfortunately I'm short of hip jumps at my local bike park and have to learn on straight jumps.
I want to learn that right now , more then everthing. Just for fun , for me and your explaining is the best of the best. I just need to win some litle Fear and GO- GO - PRO ;)
awesome vid ! more tutorials!!
Niel at 0:21
When will be a game of bike and hardtail week in gmbn
yeah! Blake wears the Cpgang socks! ;) #partyride

are you brave enough to jump yet?
I run clipless and was wondering how much dp you have to rotate to your foot?
Step 1: Watch Video.
Step 2: Get Motivated.
Step 3: Fail Miserably
4:05 is this kind of Blake special language? :D
Soede three basic technics... 😂😂😂
Blake!!!!!!
Very nice💪
Love it 👍👍
#askgmbn when im practising a table top i prefer pushing my bike to the left, but when im in the air i automatically push right. Which side should i try to progress?
Cheers blake now i can throw dank tables
rad thanks! this guy is way cool coolioes

I was just looking for how to table top when this vid pops out
Hi GMBN
Hoooooooooooo can't wait to start practicing this!!
thank ya !!
Where is facts you didn't know about carbon??
AJ Sacote same here
AJ Sacote every now and again there's a phantom video that gets announced and sounds amazing but never appears- I think the last one was something about crash testing helmets 😂
AJ Sacote
By the time it comes out I'll know everything about carbon fibre.
toasty bear it's been promised 4 times!!
I love blake
Can u do this with clip cap wouldn't u unclip in the middle of the table
Hi GMBN CHANNEL
It wouldn’t be a gmbn video without blake landing nose heavy😂😂😂

These were invented/dialed by 80's bmx cats, clipless... Yes.
The case marks on the gap at 0:54 make me nervous
What is if you have grip shift on I be sides? XD
Ye but who has gripshift😂
ethan adams don't know😂
Your bar ends will stick into your stomach
CP gang socks 😂😂I have also a pair
You should do some tricks on clipless!!!
All the same principles apply, just want to make sure you don't become unclipped in mid air!
Whats the smallest size jump you could do a tabletop on?
brooooox love yu broooo 2w beast table
Any different with clips since you won't be able to rotate your foot?
hapiman97
don't learn tricks with clips
learn on flats it's safer and develops better technique
most offroad clips have reasonable latteral movement to allow all but the flattest of tables ;)
We agree ^
Although all tricks can be done with with clips, if you have the option always better to learn with flats
Blake, one of your cables is scary close to your chainring and chain. Looks like it's waiting to get chewed up in there
PLEASE HELP!!!! every time i pull up on my front forks, when they come completely extended (the rebound has finished) i hear this bang noise as if something inside my shock is hitting another part. it has happened to all of my last 3 coil suspension forks. if anyone else has the fix please let me know it would be greatly appriciated :)
Could be because you have very fast rebound?
it wasnt like it before tho. i landed after a jump and it was like that after the landing
and when i stand on my bike and the front forks compress, there is no compression for about a centemeter, its just free moving up and down. i know they are probably broken and i need to replace them but if there is a way fix it would be greatly appriciated
I'd say it's pretty normal for coil shocks My new dj came with a coil shock and it makes the bang as well. Upgraded it to an air fork alg now
thanks Calvin Chang thats probably what ill have to do. any suggestions for forks? i have a custom trek jack 2 (hardtail) turned single gear but haven't upgraded forks yet (manitou splice) and i use it for stunts like a dirt jumper; high drops, jumps, and downhill shredding on our local trail.
how do i get the seat out of the way ? The dropper is already down but it keeps hitting the inside of my leg
:S
Put your seat post realese as well as your dropper all the way down.
Do anyone know what to do when your seat is quite high (and can't go any lower) ?
take it off!!!
@@olivezz I switched bikes already.
You mentioned progression... so where/how do you start?
By attempting the trick using the techniques shown, moving your hips, sliding your hand around and keeping you knees in. It won't be flat straight away so by nailing the techniques you'll progress by your tables getting flatter and flatter
Is it bad to jump with clipless petals, and style your jumps #askgmbn
what if i use cleats?
damn i need to find some spot where i can make some hips to learn the tricks, bored of lyin on the floor with my bike :')
I gather the convention is to name the direction after the top foot? Seems weird that a "table left" leans the bike to the right, but so be it!
How do you not catch your bar ends on your shirt
put your hand on the very edge of your handlebar
Blake Samson is my teacher
I attempted tricking on my back and my bike was so heavy that I couldn’t to anything
How much does it weigh? Most beginners blame the bike at first
"we need flatter tables!"
We need more roost!!!
Wish my bike was light enough to do that tabletop practice
OffCamberIgnitor there are people who do 360 tabletop on heavy dh bikes
djaddict13 oh yea true I love seeing that stuff, I was just talking about laying on the ground exercise part.
Would I look like a rookie if I wear full face dh helmet for dirt jump?
Calvin Chang kinda
who cares if you look like a rookie, if a full face is all you've got, wear it for the sake of your safety :)
Ive got a giro montaro and a tld d3 but for some reason everytime i fall my head slams the ground first sooooo i dont feel so secure when wearing the half lid :(
Ive gone out on my trail bike with a neck brace and full face. gives me confidence to try new stuff. I want to keep riding as long as possible, and crashing is part of getting better. u explained the floor part with the pedals switched...
Watching how to do flatter tables
*cant even do a shit one*
WE NEED FLATTER TABLES!
tabes for the babes
Yeah I can't twist my wrist I've got a mettle plate through it
Next trick video how to turn down
When you realise you've been trying to table the wrong way😭😭😭
Yeah well that in incorect, because the table top is in the opposite side.
Right foot in the front, right hand pulls, not like in this video
wait.... why do you have a grip on another grip??!!
Omg i wish i could afford a good bike 😩
Look for a second hand bike.
Try to save 1000$ and get a second hand 26" bike. There is no need in 27.5 and 26 is really cheap now.
fuck yes
how the hell can you come back or streek again?
Gagaga woooosh
