George Carlin is my hero. I have been listening to him since I was little, oh it's been close to 50 years. He is hilarious to start but makes you think and reason about things you don't normally give a thought to. He was so in your face and didn't care who didn't like it. He does cuss alot but that just endears him to me even more because I have always said they are just words. You should delve into more of his material, it stimulates the intellect. I still have an album of his earlier works that I still listen to on my Dad's record player. Love the way your face showed the recognition of how his words got you to thinking.
Most comedians are the usual one liner routines, unrelated jokes on various subjects, but GC does like acts in a play; they all have a cadence, a plot, and a punchline. A true comedic genius and to me the GOAT. I had all his records when I was young and could pretty much recite all of them.
George Carlin was always a PHILOSOPHER that chose to deliver his messages through Stand-Up comedy. Sometimes it gets laughs simply based on the truth behind it because "If you don't laugh, you might cry" and he was ALWAYS YEARS AHEAD of his time as well!

His bit about the earth incorporating plastic into its ecosystem is actually prophetic. At the time he made this that was considered kind of ludicrous by a lot of people. But we’ve actually discovered micro organisms that are eating plastic and turning it into gases that are naturally found in earths atmosphere that are not part of the greenhouse effect. And so they are converting plastic into normal balanced air. Mere decades after this man said this on television, sciences discovering that the earth is in fact adapting to plastic and learning how to break it down and incorporated It into the food chain

The intellectual comic-based teacher. He’s taught us to think about life….he would have been everyone’s favorite philosophy professor.
Carlin forever, man!
I wonder what he would say about our current times.
He'd probably say, "Kill me now and let me go back to pushing up daisies. You guys deal with this shit. After all, you idiots are the ones that allowed it to happen."
I always describe Carlin as a philosopher first, and a comedian second.
There is no one like Carlin!! A true genius that cared more than you think and expressed it through comedy because you can push the envelope and deliver a message that hits everyone ears to create real change. Wish he was alive for what the world is going through now to deliver another message and lesson on how to get through it while laughing.
He’s a language artist. He makes you think. And laugh. ❤️💪
George Carlin wasn't just a comedian. He was an educated historian, an intellectual, and a prophet.
I LOVE YOU FOR LOVING THIS MAN. He is absolutely my hero. Anything he does is insightful and amazing and so funny. And your response was perfect. Thank you
I'm just amazed that you haven't heard of George Carlin, He seems so iconic
Super smart guy with a wonderful perspective. We NEED more like him
The day my Mother passed away I listened to his last special ''Life is worth losing'', it helped me so much. I was laughing and confronting the situation in a much healthier way than I would otherwise.
R.I.P. for your mom! ❤ My mom passed in 92 and comedy got me through for years! 😂 I use to watch George with her and every time I watch him, I remember her laughter! 😊 He is in a place telling them jokes for the rest of eternity, imo! 👍😎
Thank you for not only reacting, but enjoying the great George Carlin. Dive in man, you will not be disappointed.
Did you already cover Bo Burnham "Art is Dead?" If not... well, I won't spoil it but, um... just remember Carlin's name when you do cover it. Respect.
I absolutely love George Carlin!
" he was on stage for like 8 minutes , teaching people." well, more like 50 years but ok. surely one of the top 2-3 all time, especially in quality of material.
Welcome to George Carlin. Keep watching him, he was a legendary genius.
RIP George. You always made us laugh while telling the truth.
So happy that you finally got to hear the wisdom of one of our greatest comic minds. More please.....
Most underappreciated comedian slash philosopher of all time!!! The GOAT in my opinion...
George Carlin was great I loved all his tours. He qlways made me think outside the box
He's brilliant, you need to watch more for sure. Prophetic even.
George Carlin was brilliant and always made you think!
RIP A great mind with a great knack for expressing truth with humor.
Simply the greatest ever
Everything! Listen to everything this man put into the world.
Comedic genius. One of a kind. Great Reaction brother!
Carlin is an intellectual and philosopher first who chose comedy as his bridge to educating others. Carlin is a legend.
Lucky enough to see him live before he passed. Definitely go down this rabbit hole!
Funny but educational at the same time. Smart comedy.
*MORE* George Carlin please! 😎
George Carlin is an amazing comic and person!!!
George was gracious enough to thank his audience after his comedy/ teaching...Good reaction.
George Carlin is a genius. Please do more!
Always loved George Carlin since he first appeared in the early 60's the main reason is that you always were taught something and a new way of looking at the world around us. Explore his earlier performances as well.
Comedy while educating. Incredible. There’s no one like George Carlin
George is profoundly intelligent. The world is a sadder place without him in it, although he probably wouldnt have thought so. God bless you, Shirley.
Welcome to the joy and wisdom of George Carlin. He has many many great comedy acts.
One of the great philosophers of our time!
George was a Genius, Bless Him.
George Carlin was always a PHILOSOPHER that chose to deliver his messages through Stand-Up comedy. Sometimes it gets laughs simply based on the truth behind it because "If you don't laugh, you might cry" and he was ALWAYS YEARS AHEAD of his time as well!
George Carlin is great. He really had no filter and just used comedy to disseminate knowledge to people in an enjoyable way. I'd love to see you react to more of his stuff.
George Carlin is one of my favorites as far as common sense, overall knowledge, and as you mentioned great intellect.
I loved Carlin so much. He told it like it was & made it very entertaining.
I LOVE GEORGE CARLIN. The best kind of teacher there is. One who lowers your guard and enables the information to really sink in.
Please, more Carlin reactions. I will watch them all!
Mere decades after this man said this on television, sciences discovering that the earth is in fact adapting to plastic and learning how to break it down and incorporated
It into the food chain
UK calling! You hit the nail on the head at the end. George was an educator and very good one at that. All very well researched in a manner you wanted to hear more.
He is brilliant. Very insightful and tells it like it is truthfully
George Carlin is simply one of the funniest to ever do it... the Comedic Philosopher we all needed :)
And down the rabbit hole we go. I'm excited for the next few weeks.
He is my all time favorite comedian
He is briliant!!
George is one of a kind. I definitely recommend pretty much any of his shows. 7 dirty words is always a good one though
Oh, yeah... Carlin was different. He was something special. We lost an absolute treasure when we lost Curious George.
I was lucky enough to find a collection of his specials at Best Buy called All My Stuff and had to get it. A week or two later I heard the news that he was gone and all I could think was, "Oh no! ...and all his stuff is still at my house."
You were among the best of us, Mr. Carlin. You are forever missed. 🔥🔥🤘🤘
George Carlin is awesome!!!!! Seven words you can't say on TV........trailblazer.....RIP....Sue
So glad you found good Ole St. George
One thing about George,, he always leaves ya thinking🤣🤣🤘
This man was a genius. He was one of a kind. There was, is and never will be anyone like him again. He was the original professor of wordology. He was taken from us far too soon, we really could use his humor, charm and wit today. Please do watch more of his stuff. You will love it.
There will never be another like George Carlin, one in a million.
