Persona 3 Reload is a role-playing video game developed and published by Atlus. Reload is a remake of Persona 3 (2006), the fourth main installment of the Persona series, itself a part of the larger Megami Tensei franchise. The game was released on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on February 2, 2024.

I love the long pause after Aigis first summon

to be fair he's used his persona a few times beforehand during the same night
Aigis missing her attack and the long pause had me laughing
There was another video with the exact same result, except it was even perfectly timed with the music 😂

I think this is the first time P3MC changing Personas was acknowledged, funnily enough.

I remember there's a dialogue of Mitsur commenting that the mc ability to change Persona mid fight is extraordinary, but that's literally the end of it

I played Portable least year, and I am very sure it's mentioned that in one of the story events.
So glad they made Ken and Koromaru actually viable by including the Eiga and Kouga skills in the remake.
Ikr, koromaru is in my main team now (mostly cause i like him, but thats besides the point) him having both eiga and maragi skills is so good

Ken was always good in the original, he was literally the most versatile party member in the game. He had party wide healing and revives, electric skills, Light instant-kills, Spear master, and Vile assault for downed enemies. Give him accessories for amp skills and his damage was extremely competitive with other characters. Koromaru did suck though and still does in the remake, just more viable.

I loved timing these with the music, Aigis criting all of the enemies on the drop of It's Going Down Now was so epic!

I thought he always shot his head in the games. He only shot his chest in the anime

I went and watched a vid in at .25 speed and he definitely hits himself in the heart
He already done it in the ps2 version before
Fun fact: if their first battle is in a monad door, this cutscene will not trigger. I discovered this in my first use of ken. Then i left, and my next battle with him it triggered😊
It also doesn't trigger with full moon battles, I saved Aigis summoning her persona for it and it didn't happen 😭 i was so disappointed

I love the detail on how the camera pans upwards with Ken's summon, as hes the smallest while his Persona is rather tall
Glad we didn't get an epic cinematic of their persona summons, nice and clean, plus they do have the best persona designs
With Aki, yukari, Mitsuru, and Shinji it made sense. But I woulda loved to see one for everyone else. ESPECIALLY Ken

Isn’t the Evoker basically simulating the pain of a real bullet?
It's more like reminding them of death in order to bring out strong emotion.
This is why most of the SEES steel themselves before using it. They accept death, but is still scared of it
No, it’s just to bring out fear of death. The Evoker does seem to have a slight blow-back effect (probably from the recoil of the gun against the character’s head) but it doesn’t hurt outside of that
@@shay9807one of the original concepts actually had them use real bullets, which the personas would instantly heal. kinda glad they went this route though
Why did I think Yukari was Ken on the thumbnail…
They are quite similar in using their evoker, as they point it usually in their forehead, and using two hands. Not to mention both have brown hair XD

edit: it seems he still will say it? his first use definitely feels close to how he said it in previous versions

I am slightly disappointed that this game doesn't give us actual awakening scenes for anyone besides the protagonist i think this will do.

Damn they were great in FES and only got better for reload. All the new VA's definitely did the game its due diligence (imo all the new va's are better but thats not saying that the OG were bad).

Kinda feel like these got nerfed in terms of personality. Akihiko doesn’t turn his head towards the evoker, Mitsuru and Shinji don’t hold it sideways, at least Ken gets a whole new pose since it isn’t a heart shot anymore. I was way mad at first that mc’s twirl was absent but then realized it’s used for persona swapping instead.
Agreed, even the summon animations had tons of personality in them originally and they’re just a smidge watered down now. Aki’s barely aims at his head now too lol

I don't like it. The new summons seem weak as fuck. Makoto doesn't even fall backwards on fusion summon anymore
I really don't like Yukari and Akihiko new voices. The rest is really good.
