@@dwianggaraputra HIMSELF. Cosmograph (to my knowledge) has not corrected this, and has appeared MANY times in dev updates. Just like yuni and mihara are the only alphabet nikkes in the entire game, and the COMMANDER IS A STRAIGHT MALE.
Mustang has been CEO for nearly 100 years. can get away with threatening a government officer without any consequence and created cyborgs capable of literally giving people good luck just to have mascots for his casino. Man is balling.
Nikke OSTs and where they appear: - I Feel So Alive (Cash Shop, makes you wanna spend real money) - Claymore (Event-only track for "Claymore") - Clarion Call (Event-only track for "Last Kingdom", plays only at the climax of the event story, is only unlocked as a collectible in the event map...for now) - The Harvester (Boss track for "Harvester", unlocked as a collectible in Hard Mode) - Stronghold Land Eater (Boss tracks for "Land Eater", is actually two separate tracks coinciding with two of its phases, unlocked as collectibles in Hard Mode) - EEEEEEEEEE-ntertainment (Main theme for Mustang) - Hold You Tight (Event-only track for "Red Ash", plays only at a pivotal part of the event story, is only unlocked as a collectible in the event map...for now) - Inferno of Nihilist/Burn It All (Boss tracks for "Nihilister", each track coincides with its phases, unlocked as collectibles in Hard Mode)
@@Trailblazer_Ririna Not only I get to hear them a lot, but I have them in my in-game playlist. My personal recommendation is "The Pilgrim". You will be reminded of Nier when you hear it, because it's one of the few that sounds almost fantastical...in a post-apocalyptic sci-fi setting. Personal favorite is its acoustic version (still one of my Top 5 Cosmograph tracks), because it sounds closer to tavern music that a bard plays or something a group of adventurers would play around a campfire.
For Hold You Tight song you can still collect that track in the Event Archives for Red Ash. Clarion Call not yet since it is not added to archives yet, but it will be there eventually. Regular non anniversary or non collab events themes are accessible immediately when you unlock an area after a few chapters.
Important Lore note behind Crown. Crown was originally an Ark Nikke from one of the big three Corpo tasked with protecting Original Earth Resources during the Rapture war. It wasn't specified which squad she belonged to however it was mentioned I think in a flash back or Chime brought it up in a dialogue, that everyone assigned to guard the castle were all KIA by Raptures including the commander which broke her mentally to the point she shut down all of her body functions. I think the reason why she was given the "Pilgrim" designation is bc she failed to return back to the Ark or couldn't due to circumstances. Which is the latter. In a nut shell Nikkes that are classified as Pilgrims are Nikkes that either refused or failed to return to the Ark after a certain period. Bonus fact. No one in the Ark knows about the existence of her, the castle and the asset she was tasked to protect during the war with the raputres on the surface.
General info about OST: -The lead composer is Cosmograph. About 80% of get music is by him and features other artist sometimes. -Each new nikke gets their own little story event and its own music. The songs are usually based on themes of character or the event story. -Bigger events like anniversaries might have multiple songs. Red Ash event had like 5 songs with lyrics plus more with themes. -Boss themes are either just great bangers like The Harvester or have thematic relevance with lyrics like Nihilister.
6:04 Because of the Poster Girl is Claymore herself. As a former underground NIKKE gladiator, she has the story from the underground fighting area (as posted) to the World Game Stadium.
For the last ost Burn It All, the song is in the boss's perspective and is singing on how it will beat the living hell out of you lol. "Do you think you'll live today, or I can make you die in pain. You'll never see another day." And for the screamos they're saying "Don't try to run away from me, don't try to run away from me. Can you feel the fear no one saves you here, never let you see the light of heaven fall on you. Listen can you feel the fear no one saves you here, you can never run away from me."
Thank you so much for the clarifications on what they’re saying 🤣 English is that one language that my brain has a hard time processing for some reason haha
I've probably listened to that song like 30 times by now and I still get teary eyed at the part where the music swells with the picture of the whole squad😢
Yesh it used to just be the background music but they decided to add lyrics to it which surprised me greatly as i just chilled in the shop for a good few minutes to vibe with it lmao
Since you asked at 33:50. Nihilister is both: Nikke and Rapture, classified as Heretic which is why you saw her humanoid form in the PV, but she is able to turn into her Dragon form to fight you which is where the song is played. Funnily enough she's one of the most difficult bosses in the game, oddly not because she does a bunch of damage, but because she's VERY durable and you constantly run out of time XD.
The Harvester is a drum and bass genre. I really like that song. There are many different genres of music in Nikke ost. From Metal, Punk, Citypop, Eurobeat, DnB, Dubstep, Rave etc...
Pilgrims also have their very own OST, Just type in "The Pilgrims"...and the song fits them very well... One of the Pilgrim nikke quote "We are but Pilgrims, wandering the frozen lands, searching for a glimmer of hope"
Woah, this… I think I reacted to their OST when recording the next reaction video yesterday, but it seems like I was right about a few things I talked about.
8:00 The legendary relic TAV:Animal mount is the white Mongolian cyber war horse named " Trombe(Italian)". Energized by NIKKE core. TAV means " Tactiacal Autonomous Vehicle. " 【Kingdom protects ultra-high-yielding crops seed.】
Interesting perspective on The Harvester you had there ♡ You DID nail the desert like part at least as well as searching for something Context and spoiler warning: At a point in the story (around Chapter 11), you are looking for something to help out a very specific problem with the Nikke. At the end of the chapter, you and the groups of Nikke you have are ambused by a huge spider like Rapture called The Harvester. Some of its tendrils hit a few of the Nikke which is a problem. If they are attacked, they risk being corrupted which is more or less a death sentence While the lyrics probably dont have much significance, i personally believe they are somewhat from the perspective of one of the Nikke, Laplace, and the feeling of knowing your corruption & death clock have now started and you don't even know it The music in of itself is a Boss Fight Track which so far is my personal favorite rapture one
HECK YEAH! It’s so great when I managed to get at least one thing right. Haha Skipped the spoilers section (and thank you for writing that it’s spoilers, I really really appreciate it ), but that particular OST was quite fun to listen to~
Hold Me Tight and really Red Ash/Red Hood (the character) is one of the game's most tragic stories and characters. That picture at the end is the last time any of them ever genuinely smiled, and it makes Anderson, a character I initially was suspect of, a far more sympathetic person. It explains a lot why he cares about the Nikkes.
"I feel so alive" is actually the cash shop theme, lol. I won't say anything as to the context of "clarion call" as the event will most likely be added to the archives with the release of the 2nd anniversary event in two months. "Claymore" is an odd one without context in that it's both about the nikke in the picture and the event itself. Clay (the nikke featured) was once sold off to an underground fighting arena and kept losing, and instead found her calling in cheering on others to victory. Also fun fact: Mustang canonically plays his theme music whenever he appears in public
As he should~ haha Mustang's the coolest! I can't believe "I Feel So Alive" is the cash shop theme... No, more like I'm surprised that the cash shop even has a theme song! haha
I know I’m late to the party but still. 6:43 well, both. I can’t get into too much detail here, but the song is both for the event and her backstory. The girl in the vid is Clay, that’s why the song is titled Claymore. Because it’s Clay, more! Because she’s a cheerleader. 10:33 well, Pilgrim Nikkes are called that because they only exist outside of the Ark. Their manufacturer is unknown because we do not know their manufacturer and/or the manufacturer doesn’t exist anymore and that’s also further aggravated by the fact that they’re outside the ark for a long time, as such nobody in the Ark knows who they are. That’s why Julia isn’t a Pilgrim but a Missilis’ nikke even though she’s up on the surface for years(irl time)(you’ll only know her from her bond story, she never showed up on the main story up to date, perhaps one event only, but I don’t remember it) but the girls of Inherit are Pilgrims even though they were fabricated on the Ark. Rapunzel, a nikke of the Goddess squad (the only nun in the game), was manufactured by VLT (I believe that’s the spelling) which is also where she comes from as a human, but VLT doesn’t exist anymore. 14:05 it’s the name of the rapture in the video, but as for why they’re called ‘harvester’ I have no idea. In the same way I have no idea why a giant fly rapture is called ‘Ultra’ and not ‘big fly’. 18:14 kinda, it’s because Crown and Chime are essentially role playing as Queen and Aid respectively and, since their base is a castle, they’re effectively the last kingdom in the world(and they’re in a very dangerous fight but any more and it’s spoilers)… and they’re recruiting citizens. Crown.. isn’t the sharpest tool in the shed when it comes to intelligence, however she’s a very good person and leader. And VERY powerful too… and very sexy when she gets n*de in the battlefield, but that’s a story for another day. 20:10 honestly, Land Eater has a far better theme song than it deserves… 23:22 also, you’d never want to piss off Mustang. The guy is as dangerous as he’s flamboyant. But, if you actually get in his good grace/ or become somewhat friendly with him, he’s actually a cool dude. He calls us to help manage an unruly nikke (Volume), to help solve a ‘misunderstanding’ (any more about it and it’s a spoiler of the event ‘A Beautiful Shot’) 25:06 well, it’s a small spoiler that won’t affect much so I’ll tell you. He’s in the Show Biz. His company, Tetra Line, is essentially a talent agency that has its fingers in almost all industries(clarification: he’s a nikke manufacturer, officially). There are three most notable squads under him: Talentum, which are three nikkes very talented with money(ie. Rich as f*ck); Prima Donna, which are very talented musicians; and lastly 777, which are the main stars of the Coin Rush, Mustang’s Casino, they’re a Game Master and a pair of twin bunny girls that can give you extraordinary luck by just touching you. 27:53 I want to tell you so bad, but she’s so fundamental to the story that she’s basically the main reason we’re alive (she’s basically the origin of our early to mid story’s plot armor). Well, I think I can give you a small, but fundamental, puce of information: she, Red Hood is Rapi’s(the poster girl and, arguably, the main heroine) martial master; Rapi learned all of her combat strength from Red Hood, which largely allowed us to survive up until now, because Rapi became a ferocious fighter. 28:24 actually, you got it right the first time. Although, in general terms, her regret lies with her whole squad, in reality it lies mostly with the girl in her arms, Snow White. 32:30 that’s Nihilister and we, later on the story, will give her a nice blanket. You’ll understand why when you’ll play the story.
For Hold You Tight: Red Hood was corrupted but she was holding out and fighting it off. Her and Snow White from back then were really close after all those fights and stuff they went through. At one point she just walks off without saying goodbye or letting Snow White or any of the other Goddess Squad say Good Bye or at least try to. Eventually she does come back to fight Cinderella. Then they actually their final goodbyes in.
Nikke's sountrack varies a lot. From pop to hip-hop to metal and some of the songs are confusing without the context like Claymore (Hint: the cheerleader's name is Clay). Other songs are pretty straighforward: "I Feel So Alive" is the cash shop theme and The Haverster is the name of the boss. Also, a lot of the events are archived like Red Ash so you can play through it anytime to get context on the "Hold You Tight" song. I'm really looking forward to seeing you play the game!
Gosh, I love when gacha game companies decide that they'll also be music companies. haha They just know how to make good music~ Somehow. For some reason. In any case, I'm also pretty excited to play the game in less than 2 weeks!
@@Trailblazer_Ririna Gachas like Arknights, Nikke and Punishing Gray Raven have taught me that some gacha games are secretly music albums with a free game 🤣
@@Trailblazer_Ririna note collect core dust from stuff only if you have option choosing it will help you get past 160 wall and more and try getting 5 characters 3 copies you need that for 160 wall
16:09 Harvester is the long-legged spider type Tyrant-class anti-air Rapture boss showing into the NIKKE beta PV. They are specially desinged for hunting humanity. Its solar laser has the ability eliminating all-in air force attack.
Most of the songs were for events so they recall that's happening so I think it's normal you don't know since you don't have context ! Claymore for example is a song about a group of cheerleader that have to overcome what's thrown at their faces
@@Trailblazer_Ririna There's also story significance for Clay (the cheerleader) specifically that is covered in the event's story (let's just say she's not JUST a cheerleader)
22:43 TETRA's CEO Theme song. In JP Mustang's VA is "Takehito Koyasu" also known as the VA of "DIO" from Jojo's Bizzare Adventure. Super Entertaining and the best CEO out of the three.
HE'S THE SAME VA FOR DIO IN JP?!? How very very iconic. haha Definitely the best CEO out of the three for sure now~ (Just for that sole reason! They chose very well~)
0:00 "I feel so alive" is the cash shop theme, which is evil because it's so addicting to listen to lol 5:10 The song is called 'Claymore" because the character featured in the video, and main focus of the event is named "Clay" I dont want to get too much into her story for spoilers, but she's very tenacious and she wants to win in a cheerleading competition hence the vibe of the song. 7:55 "Clarion Call" is one of my favorite recent themes. It's also the 1.5 Ani event, which helps, lol. I don't want to spoil much as it's a great event, but the idea is that the castle, the last kingdom, is under siege by a large group of Raptures and its about them fighting back agaisnt all odds, for the sake of the Kingdom and its inhabitants. 11:15 "The Harvester" is one of the many bosses you fight against in the game, and a lot of them have amazing themes, this being one of my favorites. 13:47 "Stronghold Land Eater" is another one of the bosses you fight against. Another banger theme, and as you'll eventually notice, some of the boss themes have different phases, sometimes like Land Eater, the themes will be consitent, Phase 2 usually upping the intensity. While others, the song changes pretty dramatically. 22:51 "EEEEEEEEEE-ntertainment" the King himself, Mustang's theme. Everyone loves him. every time he's on screen, he's a blast to see. He's also the CEO of Tetra Line, one of the main three Company's. Overall, a great and fun character, and my personal favorite CEO and likely the communities' favorite as a whole. 25:25: Oh man. "Hold you tight." One of my favorite songs in the game period. It's such an emotional song, especially with context. It's also part of the "Red Ash" event, which was the first anniversary and featured "Red Hood" the first Anniversary Pilgrim character and a Member of "Goddess Squad". The event as a whole has so many amazing songs. While im writing this list as I watch, I have no doubt there will be more songs from the event. To add to the thing you mentioned at the end, im unsure if Every Nikke will get their own "Theme" persay, but every event has its own song, and events usually focus on a singular Nikke (Like Claymore) or a small group so it can seem like every character gets their own theme. THAT BEING SAID. Red Hood is a special case. She got a lot of songs focused on her as again, she was built up a lot in the story as well as being the First Anniversary unit. And since she won the popularity poll, i believe she's also going to get ANOTHER theme made for her, on top of the others she already has. 29:18 "Inferno of Nihilister" I'll break this down into two as I feel the songs are different enough to warrent it. Phase 1 of the "Nihilster" boss fight. There's not too much to comment here. it's a pretty oppresive theme that grabs your attention as when she's on the field, you need to focus on her. Otherwise, you're going to get burned. And without going too much into details, yes, i said "Her" as you mentioned, its possible for Nikke's to become "corrupted" and in which they turn into "Heratics." Of which, Nihilister is one of them. 34:53 "Burn it All" I much prefer this theme over her first song, but that's just because of personal music taste, lol. But the lyrics pretty much tell you how ferocious she is and how no matter how you fight, how you run, how you hide, you'll burn and die in pain all the same. Whew, guess that's all for the first part, huh? Guess I was wrong about seeing other Red Ash songs in this part, but that's fine. There will be more, lol.
WOAH, thank you for the in-depth explanations! Took me some time to read through it all, but I really appreciate it~ Gave me a lot of context that I felt were missing when listening to the music! Can't wait to listen to more Red Ash songs in the future!
@Trailblazer_Ririna happy to help! I love it when people explore the things that I love too, so glad to help you figure out things! Whenever you post your pt.2, I'll try and do the same for that video as well!
I feel like in " burn it all" the "human" lyrics are the comander and the counters, and the screamo lyrics are Nilister becoming desperate and increasingly pissed off
@@Zerovin I personally feel like the lyrics are too aggressive for the counters and especially the commander, but I never thought about that angle of the song!
@Achiever579 to be fair, at this point with what the counters have been through its understandable that the counters would be pissed at heretics let alone nilister.
I feel so alive is a shop music hahaha I like how you overcooking the Harvester one, Harvester is a name for a boss that was on screen, nothing more i'm exiting for part 2!
@@Trailblazer_Ririna Sure! The playlist is from Official Nikke JP channel tho, not from others yt channel ( ua-cam.com/video/RgX8ucy1vEU/v-deo.html ) Also, the Cosmograph actually commented on your react music video, that's wild ! :>
Thank you for the playlist! I added it to my list~ And yes, I was pleasantly surprised to see their comment! Grateful for it though since their music is awesome~ hehe
I'm glad you enjoyed the songs!! I was debating on organizing them by genres, but since I wasn't gonna be using all of them, I wanted instead to emphasize just how diverse the soundtrack can get sometimes haha For a bit more of context, Claymore is also referring to the Cheerleader girl's name, since it's an event about her. Many Nikke squads hold a shared theme for the names they're given and, for some reason, the Cheerleaders are named after blades (Clay(more) and Bay(yonetta))
Hehe I'm seriously grateful that you sent the playlist to me! So thank you again! It was a lot of fun and I can't wait to record my reaction to the rest of your playlist later today! You know, learning about this makes me want to see videos of the Nikke devs discussing about how and why they chose certain names and/or designs for characters. Would be interesting to watch one day if they do have such videos/interviews!
@@Trailblazer_Ririna Nice! Can't wait. I remember watching 2 Dev interviews during the 1st and 1.5 Anniversary streams, but I don't remember them talking specifically about their naming choices.
Glad you reacted to the NIKKE OST, though I gotta say, going from ENTERTAINMENT! to Hold You Tight is a whiplash. I FEEL SO ALIVE! is the cash shop theme. Claymore is the theme for the eponymous event, celebrating the release of Clay. The Clarion Call sounding very regal and knightly is fitting: Crown is literally holed up in a castle on the surface, styling herself as King. This is a power move, since the surface belongs to the Raptures. The Harvester and Stronghold Land Eater are both boss themes. There's a lot of electro/dubstep/EDM because Raptures are mostly mechanical. EEEEEEntertaiment is Mustang's theme, which he actually plays in-universe. He's been CEO for nearly 100 years and no one has moved his disco ball-wearing ass. He has every right to be confident. Hold You Tight is very melancmolic because it's effectively the theme of someone dying of a terminal illness who distances themselves from their loved ones with good intentions, but only makes things worse. Inferno of Nihilist and Burn It All are for Nihilister, AKA the Flame Dragon. Manic and wild as fitting for someone closer to a rabid animal than any sapient being.
@@Trailblazer_Ririna Oh, I just noticed you didn't have Closed Captioning on for Burn It All. Nihilister is a Heretic, so outside of her dragon form, she resembles a Nikke, hence clearer vocals.
oh, I really like how you pay attention to the little detail or try to break down the music itself. I know it's hard to react to OST, but you did a great job and provide added value to such reactionary content!
Hehe thank you! I'm glad that you enjoy it! Quite frankly, I know that my minimal music knowledge (from my early orchestra and violin/piano days) can't compare with the professional musicians (who also react to music on YT), but I know how important it is to dig deeper into the title, music, background, and things like that to fully understand and grasp the story of any medium, even if it seems "overboard" to some people. haha Plus, it's fun to see what I get wrong and what I get right later down the road when I play the game~ Not to mention, it kills two birds with one stone in that it helps me fully appreciate the details/efforts that were put into the game and satisfies a part of my story addiction!
@@Trailblazer_Ririna it’s fun to see you guess the content first, you are not labelled yourself as “music composer react” or anything. As a Vtuber, how you are to deliver more is ready more then enough than a lot of the Vtuber who is just vibing( which is not wrong BTW). And I like how you are not treating Nikke as just boobs and butt game. Will look forward to your reaction with the main storyline, overzone and red ashes
This game's ost goes so unimaginably hard, and you've only scratched the surface. A few recommendations I gotta give are the themes "We're Never Giving Up" and "Daybreak." Been playing this game for about 3 and a half months and was genuinely surprised by both the writing quality and the soundtrack quality. Glad to see more people show interest in this game as well
Definitely a good thing ShiftUp is doing is making the past events available in the form of “archive”. Pretty much, in order to access them (from what I know) is to play the event that’s going on to get the currency to open up the archive. It makes it so that even if someone is coming into the game that’s brand new, they can still catch up with everyone’s world building cause of that access. Listening to ya hear the songs and figure out things as someone who knows what everything is about makes me excited for ya to get answers about what the different songs are about. Definitely recommend seeing what events are in order though as a decent number of the events that have happened recently, or you can find in the archive, actually reference events even further back. Another thing to note is that there is close to 30 chapters (I think? We might be over that now) but ShiftUp has said we’re still in the game prologue after all this time.
How fun! I too can’t wait to see what I got wrong and what I got right~ hehe it’s also awesome that the game is still in its prologue! That means there are more things to come in the future!
What has been nice is that if you start playing late, the events are slowly being added into the archive so you'll be able to not only unlock the music again but to experience the event for yourself. Since you mentioned that you really like Clarion Call, The Last Kingdom event (where it comes from) hasn't been added yet, but should be returning soon, though I would recommend reading the stories up to Chapter 13 first. Red Ash and Overzone are also fan favorites and are currently available and are the basically the prequel stories to the main campaign and have some of the BEST music in the entire game. I'm glad you listened to Harvester, it's one of my favorite tracks and you get to hear it a couple of times since it's a medium difficulty boss fight (Not too hard, not too easy and shows up at the right difficulty spike moment) I hope you get to enjoy the game yourself at your own pace soon!
I actually think I’ll be playing the events and side stories a bit later since I tend to focus on the main story more, such as if I reach the difficulty wall and need more time to build my characters.
Awesome that Dilemma is up next. Loved the reaction. If I could recommend some other songs they would be "Kill The Lord" on the Nikke youtube channel. Then on the Cosmograph ( one of the main composers of the game ) channel I'd recommend "A.C.P.U.! Freeze!", Crystal Chamber Boss - "We're Never Giving Up", "Dirty Backyard", and "Bass Bomb".
You have no idea how excited I am for your nikke stream. I wish you luck on your pulls. Also when you play it what language will you set the voices to? I play with japanese voices.
Hehe thank you~ I think the community post poll is showing JP as the winner so far (unless it miraculously changes to EN as the winner by Thursday), so the audio will be JP for now!
I Fell Alive is theme song of Cash Shop so yes you fell alive when you go shopping I guess LOL. About archive event stage over zone and red ash is a much play for both lore and how fun it is, and for impact and no spoilers play normal chapter to around chapter 10 for context and character then Over Zone before Red Ash
with red ash, all the music in that event is a total banger. With nikke if you see any kind of boss in the video high chance are the title of the music is the boss name.
All the ost's are a vibe that you could go around listening but hopefully you will like Nikke 😄 and this is just the beginning more banger songs upcoming
Hey Ririna, it's me again to give you some more context again. The list isn't chronological at all, so don't let it influence where composition trends go (Claymore is the most recent on that list for context). While the soundtrack has general themes, each with their own evolutions, a large chunk is tailored to characters or settings so it's not rare to have very personal themes. -I Feel So Alive is the new cash shop track. It used to be the same as the in-game-currency shops, but they made a new one a few months ago to distinguish the two (might have been around the 1.5 anniversary, I'm not sure anymore). -Claymore, from the CLAY.MORE! event, is a play/reference to the event's main featured character Clay (the cheerleader in the video). Both of the cheerleaders have part of a weapon type as their name, Clay as a claymore, and Bay as in bayonet. Without going into the event story spoilers, Clay is cheering for someone to be champion for a mix of reasons. -Clarion Call is more or less the overall leading score of The Lost Kingdom 1.5 anniversary event. It heavily features Crown, reigning King of The Lost Kingdom, and leader of the White Knights squad. They are really into the regality of royal stature and guard something very important. -The Harvester is the chapter 11 boss, and is featured semi-regularly in Union Raids (not sure about Co-op, don't think it's been in Solo Raid yet either). Harvester is a code name, some of them seem to be designated from squads that survived, and some are actual names like an earlier target. The size is to refer on the fact it's a toweringly huge arachnoid rapture. -Stronghold Land Eater is basically the same context, but for chapter 5, it has returned in Union Raid and Co-op a few times. Aside from an earlier EX mission, I believe Land Eater is the first canonical boss that transforms to a different phase and altered moveset. You're literally fighting a fortress. -EEEEEEEEEE-ntertainment! Aka Mustang's theme is actually a diegetic thing. He regularly blasts it through his bedazzled glowing speaker that follows him everywhere cuz he's just that much of a flamboyant showman. Though if you like him now, you'll love how layered he can be. Definitely the most developed CEO we have (which frankly kind of makes sense, Tetra Line has the biggest amount of named Nikkes). -Hold You Tight is, unofficially, a 2nd character theme song for Red Hood. It definitely is at her lowest and most regretful point during Red Ash (the first anniversary event). The lyrics are fairly self-explanatory, though you get the full context of her prior and following decisions as you go through the event. -Inferno Of Nihilist/Burn It All are Nihilister's theme, the chapter 20 boss. She's VERY aggressive so you know, dubstep and metal fit. How do you escalate from a fire breathing dragon? How about a twin headed fire dragon? Classic. She is one of the more prominent boss (when you compare her to Land Eater or Harvester, for example).
No worries, I did redact some parts to remove a spoiler (granted you might forget by the time you get there). The soundtrack just keeps on giving, enjoy.
Oh, as a quick side note @Trailblazer_Ririna, the Evangelion collab just started. If you want to get the full daily login rewards from that event, it might be best to start within the week.
The hard part of doing a favorite playlist of the Nikke music is I end up placing all of them! xD (well not all of them but the list is a +25 songs xD)
I guess I’ll be here again but I guess I can name off all the characters that are in each sound track I guess also because I’m bored so we got Shifty non playable part of central government, Clay member of squad rewind, Crown pilgrim part of squad white knight, Modernia: second affection skin for character apart of squad heretics, Kilo/Talos kilo is the small girl inside the robot Talos is the robot apart of squad Heavy gram, harvester doesn’t have any NIKKE on it but I guess I will count the actual Harvester as the character since it’s a boss, I forgot the name of the next boss in land eater but ya it’s another boss, obviously Mustang is the star of EEEEEEEEE-ntertainment as always, Red Ash was an event that you can access from the archive in the outpost but ya main NIKKE is Red Hood pilgrim part of defunct Goddess squad, ok bit spoilers but that is a boss but is also a NIKKE named Nihilister apart of the heretics but shhhhhhhh I never said this, license to kill shows two and I’ll name two we have D and K I’m not joking those are there names D is playable but K isn’t yet and god damn this is long god..dess of victory NIKKE ok I’m done now hope you don’t get bored bye
Haha I'm not bored reading your comment~ Thank you for sharing some of the facts about the characters! Not sure if I'll remember them by the time I play, but I appreciate it nonetheless!
Hehe I can't wait for the livestream too! But I also can't wait to encounter all the good music in the game itself since that'll make for a different experience~
"We Feel Alive" is the cash shop theme. Yep. Gacha gamers feeling alive when we be swipin' Pilgrims are Nikkes that don't belong to the 3 big factions of Ark of Elysion, Missilis or Tetra, and they tend to be found wandering the surface. Guess that's the best I can put it without spoilers. "Hold Me Tight" absolutely crushed me when it played during the event. It works so well with the context of the story. Hope you'll enjoy it too.
Dunno if it's on your list already, but some new additions to the soundtrack, Afterglow and Metal Strike, are personal suggestions. I'd also strongly recommend three instrumental tracks from the combat BGM of the game. Namely, Bulletstorm, Rapture Storm and Dust Rider.
Mustang is very "fashionable", but he can be cool and serious when situation calls for it. Very much the type of person who can flip an 180 attitude wise in an instant and you really don't want to be on his opposite side.
Boss and event songs are amazing, don't get me wrong. But when it comes to having a true realization to how hardcore the campaign and how heavy the settings are? You'll have to listen to the chapter music. Most of them have 2 or 3 phases that get more intense over time. My suggestion is to listen to Recognition, Peripeteia and Below Zero. Those three hit hard and have a huge impact on the sense of urgency during the campaign. Other music that hits extremely hard are from the OverZone event. Promise, Fall and Lilith. These three may not have phases, but they are extremely telling of what is happening just on the tone they set as a whole.
@@Trailblazer_Ririnait's the music that plays in each chapter specific to the maps you traverse in the game. As you play the campaign and progress through the chapter the song 'evolves' along with your progress. You notice it first in chapter 2 (recognition) but every chapter has an evolving song that plays as you make your way through. It usually changes based on particular cutscenes. DexterousPotato here on UA-cam did a great job getting all the pieces for each song clipped together so you can hear each shift in the chapter as a whole song. He did it for every chapter as far as I'm aware.
If you are really playing Nikke true f2p it will take u like 4-5 months to brake the 160 wall for me and the plot is insane good after chapter 10 *i was loking for Boobs and stayed for the plot 😂
Oh, okay, cool, so Prologue is chapter 0... that means I should at least complete chapter 0 and maybe chapter 1 in the first livestream~! Thank you for clarifying for me! Really appreciate it~
Hellou! It's nice to see that there's another victim- er, soon-to-be player for NIKKE, especially if they react to media from this wonderful game and try to interpret it in their own way Also I really like your model, it's the first time I've seen a model have active hands like yours (I only know 4 vtubers, lol). I'm looking forward to your stream!
Thank you for watching my Nikke video! Hope you continue to stay in the community~ And thank you for liking my model too! hehe I love to use my hands a lot to express myself, so it's so fun to use my hands when talking about the game! Hope to see you during the livestream!
32:12 I believe the word you were looking for here was synthesiser, meaning an electronic based instrument. 33:28 Regarding your question here, I can't give a complete answer without it being a story spoiler, so I will mark out a section below if you're curious enough for an explanation. That said, I'm happy you're enjoying this game's music! I'm hoping I'll be able to tune into your first NIKKE stream come the 30th, if not then I'll absolutely check out the vod! ❤️ [STORY SPOILERS BELOW] To answer your question, a small handful of the bosses in the game are technically nikkes, but they have been converted to the side of raptures. As a result of this conversion, they have gained the ability to transform into a giant rapture form. It's their transformed forms that the boss fights are based on.
THANK YOU!!! I couldn't figure it out at all (more like I had a long brain fart, including now). XD I bow down to your greatness in thanks. hehe I can't wait to check out the rest of the music for this game! Loving all the details and efforts they put into the game so far. So it makes me look forward to August 30 even more than before!
Major characters to the events tend to get their own theme songs or Nikke who win player polls that's why you get fans youtubers like Export/Error who makes their own because frankly so many fantastic characters in Nikke that should get their own but don't..... or at least have not got official ones yet.
Ohhh, I mean I can understand why since making quality music takes a long time. Glad that others are taking matters into their own hands and creating them though! Shows how talented the player base is!
If you end up sticking with Nikke, the first event you should unlock in the archives is Red Ash, and the second one to unlock is Over Zone. Both of them are peerless.
@@Trailblazer_Ririna Over Zone technically came out first, but Red Ash comes first in the in-universe timeline. Over Zone will definitely hit harder if you experience Red Ash first.
@@Trailblazer_Ririna with how it is pacing i could see it go for a bit for the full prologue, it has been a trip with alot of things happening and such. i would not be surprised if it goes all way to chapter 50 and then transition to the full story. also there are almost 2 modes in the nikke story trauma and will soon be trauma. as when you said you would start would be around the start of the collab so you will get some good stuff with it. dont know if it was said earlier Claymore was the event that happened not too long ago and was for the character clay that came out for the event/
Somehow, I can feel for her. I'm so bad at rhythm games, so I would probably do better without hearing anything. hahaha But that's so cool that they have a 4-koma manga! Maybe I should check it out in the future~
Told you the osts are a banger! haha I hope one day cosmograph makes a hit that matches the hype of narwhal from punishing gray raven. 😄🍻😆 also 20:56 your reaction was priceless 😂😂
Some of the songs like burn it all actually has lyrics you just have to turn closed captions on. Hold you tight is one of my personal favorite after the event it makes me tear up every time i listen to it. Also at 5:34 reminded me theres a vtuber named Shabel Tonya who made 2 songs for the game.
Hope you check out for more music this game offer After world, ONE MORE TIME!, Living Land, Neverland, Over Zone, and Folk Tale all the album i've mentioned is filled with great soundtrack Hope you enjoy the other genre this game offers like the metal ones like Slaughterer, The clue and The challenger. Oh and my favorite one that people barely talks about is Tempest the background fits about a nikke that tries to be a hero sounds similar like the score Hans Zimmer - Flight in Man of Steel movies when Superman learns how to fly for the first time
if you ever do the Archive stories ill suggest this order to play on its up to you if you want to do the other one first or not (Red Ash) then (Over Zone) Edit: Ill give you another one try the ost of |Beautiful Shot Event (2nd summer event) | its good
Ohh, although I recommend that you send that to my Server because I rarely remember things (due to having poor memory). Or if I do continue playing the game after the first time, just saying it in the live chat when the time comes is a lot easier for me. haha
"Send me music that you like-" Wait, really? "-From Nikke." Ah, that's a much safer option. I've probably too much video game music that I feel is worth a listen.
Would be nice if you play game with English voicees because of unnecessary reading, when non players watch it they just leave because of need for pause every SECUNDE and read and also English voice actors are remarkable in this game and they deserve it just as much as JP
I recommend that you vote in the community poll. It’s for viewer’s comfort and convenience, not for me. XD I don’t reread text either if the audio already says it (even if it’s in another language) because that’s kinda awkward to me.
My mic settings were a bit off while recording this, but it shouldn't be a problem in the future. Also, I'm moving this Friday, so I'll be a bit slow at replying back to everyone, compared to usual this week! Thank you for your understanding! - Inferno of Nihilist/Burn It All (Boss tracks for "Nihilister", each track coincides with its phases, unlocked as collectibles in Hard Mode)
Ooo, thank you for the short explanations! Super helpful~
The real title for shop theme is "I feel so alive but my wallet isn't"
😂
So that’s how they categorize Pilgrim Nikkes. Seems like I’ve got a lot to learn then!
There is one more important part that makes them Pilgrims, is that they survived on the surface.
General info about OST:
-The lead composer is Cosmograph.
Oooo, thank you! This helped me a lot when recording for the next part reaction video for the OSTs~

I cry like a baby everytime i listen to hold you tight. It means a lot to me x.x
I can’t wait to reach this stage as a future player hehe
@@Trailblazer_Ririna you will know more about red hood when you play to that stage, and the deeper meaning of hold you tight
I've probably listened to that song like 30 times by now and I still get teary eyed at the part where the music swells with the picture of the whole squad😢
The song "I feel so alive" is the updated cash shop theme song.
Didn't expect a cash shop to have a theme song of its own!
Oooo, time limit! That def sounds like a struggle in a different sense
28:57 what happened to red hood was basically the beginning of the end for the goddess squad.

The Clarion Call is actually performed by an orchestra. They showed snippets during the anniversary stream showing it.
Wow, that must have been amazing to see!
Interesting perspective on The Harvester you had there ♡ You DID nail the desert like part at least as well as searching for something
Context and spoiler warning:
At a point in the story (around Chapter 11), you are looking for something to help out a very specific problem with the Nikke. At the end of the chapter, you and the groups of Nikke you have are ambused by a huge spider like Rapture called The Harvester. Some of its tendrils hit a few of the Nikke which is a problem. If they are attacked, they risk being corrupted which is more or less a death sentence
While the lyrics probably dont have much significance, i personally believe they are somewhat from the perspective of one of the Nikke, Laplace, and the feeling of knowing your corruption & death clock have now started and you don't even know it
The music in of itself is a Boss Fight Track which so far is my personal favorite rapture one
HECK YEAH! It’s so great when I managed to get at least one thing right. Haha Skipped the spoilers section (and thank you for writing that it’s spoilers, I really really appreciate it ), but that particular OST was quite fun to listen to~
MUSTANG "AND THE WINNER IS YOU" Mustang is great
Hold Me Tight and really Red Ash/Red Hood (the character) is one of the game's most tragic stories and characters.
No, more like I'm surprised that the cash shop even has a theme song! haha
@@Trailblazer_Ririna "i feel so alive" when i Shop in the Cash Shop 😂
20:10 honestly, Land Eater has a far better theme song than it deserves…
23:22 also, you’d never want to piss off Mustang. The guy is as dangerous as he’s flamboyant. But, if you actually get in his good grace/ or become somewhat friendly with him, he’s actually a cool dude. He calls us to help manage an unruly nikke (Volume), to help solve a ‘misunderstanding’ (any more about it and it’s a spoiler of the event ‘A Beautiful Shot’)
25:06 well, it’s a small spoiler that won’t affect much so I’ll tell you.

5:10 The song is called 'Claymore" because the character featured in the video, and main focus of the event is named "Clay" I dont want to get too much into her story for spoilers, but she's very tenacious and she wants to win in a cheerleading competition hence the vibe of the song.

@@Trailblazer_Ririna Sure! The playlist is from Official Nikke JP channel tho, not from others yt channel
( ua-cam.com/video/RgX8ucy1vEU/v-deo.html )
Also, the Cosmograph actually commented on your react music video, that's wild ! :>
Thank you for the playlist! I added it to my list~
And yes, I was pleasantly surprised to see their comment! Grateful for it though since their music is awesome~ hehe
I'm glad you enjoyed the songs!!
I was debating on organizing them by genres, but since I wasn't gonna be using all of them, I wanted instead to emphasize just how diverse the soundtrack can get sometimes haha
For a bit more of context, Claymore is also referring to the Cheerleader girl's name, since it's an event about her.
@@Trailblazer_Ririna
Nice! Can't wait.
I remember watching 2 Dev interviews during the 1st and 1.5 Anniversary streams, but I don't remember them talking specifically about their naming choices.
What a homie 👏👏
@@erosennin4444 🤝
OWO much luv and luck 😘
Absolute maker and the red ash main theme are my top 2 recommendations! :D
Oh, no wonder the boss themes were like that! Love how they chose such music genres in consideration of what it's supposed to reflect~
@@Trailblazer_Ririna Oh, I just noticed you didn't have Closed Captioning on for Burn It All.
Nihilister is a Heretic, so outside of her dragon form, she resembles a Nikke, hence clearer vocals.
Fav ost from nikke is THE REDHOOD
First song you listened to is the "WE MAXING OUT OUR CREDIT CARDS 🗣🔥🗣🔥" song as its for the gem shop in the game lol
🤣🤣🤣 my lord… it was all for the credit cards hahaha
oh, I really like how you pay attention to the little detail or try to break down the music itself.
21:33 yes it feels close because in the boss fight the boss actually starts walking towards you
Somehow, I'm pretty happy that I got that right.
When I listen to The harverster by Cosmograph . I think of Watercolour by Pendulum.
The most recent ost to the latest boss is one of the best.
Also there were some songs covered by Vshojo members. Their rendition is also top notch
Ooooo, that's awesome! Gosh, their songs really fit to my tastes for the most part. So I'm looking forward to checking out more today!
I'm looking forward to the stream on August 30th!
YAY! Can't wait to see you there~
This game's ost goes so unimaginably hard, and you've only scratched the surface. A few recommendations I gotta give are the themes "We're Never Giving Up" and "Daybreak."
Been playing this game for about 3 and a half months and was genuinely surprised by both the writing quality and the soundtrack quality. Glad to see more people show interest in this game as well
Thank you for watching~ hehe If you send me a playlist link, I’ll react to them then!
I must admit i did smile when Ririna was trying to read deeper meaning in to the shop tune 😄
I still can’t believe I dug so deep into the shop tune of all things 🤣🤣🤣
I'm glad you listened to Harvester, it's one of my favorite tracks and you get to hear it a couple of times since it's a medium difficulty boss fight (Not too hard, not too easy and shows up at the right difficulty spike moment)
I hope you get to enjoy the game yourself at your own pace soon!
I actually think I’ll be playing the events and side stories a bit later since I tend to focus on the main story more, such as if I reach the difficulty wall and need more time to build my characters.
I'm so glad you've got the Mirror Container boss song on the playlist. IMO, it's Cosmograph's best song to date.
It was quite amazing
Awesome that Dilemma is up next. Loved the reaction. If I could recommend some other songs they would be "Kill The Lord" on the Nikke youtube channel. Then on the Cosmograph ( one of the main composers of the game ) channel I'd recommend "A.C.P.U.! Freeze!", Crystal Chamber Boss - "We're Never Giving Up", "Dirty Backyard", and "Bass Bomb".
Thank you for watching~ hehe If you send me a playlist link, I’ll react to them then!
You have no idea how excited I am for your nikke stream. I wish you luck on your pulls. Also when you play it what language will you set the voices to? I play with japanese voices.
Hehe thank you~ I think the community post poll is showing JP as the winner so far (unless it miraculously changes to EN as the winner by Thursday), so the audio will be JP for now!
it's crazy K isn't playable yet
it's been 2 years 😔
thanks for reminding me
2 years?!? Maybe... K will be playable.... one day. Yeah.... One day...
Majority of gacha players feeling alive by taking out their credit card 🤣🤣🤣
with red ash, all the music in that event is a total banger. With nikke if you see any kind of boss in the video high chance are the title of the music is the boss name.
Oooo, that’s good to know! Thank you!
Gdi. I hadnt seen hold you tight before. Despite the lyrics being a little scuffed, it made me cry when that last pic showed up. Guuuuuh
That… makes me both scared and excited for the story even more now 😫
@@Trailblazer_Ririna i love this game :D
All the ost's are a vibe that you could go around listening but hopefully you will like Nikke 😄 and this is just the beginning more banger songs upcoming
Hehe counting down the days now for the first livestream!
Woah, dang, thank you again for the detailed explanation! Gave me some pretty good context without spoilers~
🤣 I guess a little bit at a time is best haha
@@Trailblazer_Ririna cool 👍
@@Trailblazer_Ririna I’d say wait till the 22nd because that’s when eva colab starts
Im glad you liked the songs, this game has a really good amount of them, cant wait to the livestream. 😊
Hehe I can't wait for the livestream too! But I also can't wait to encounter all the good music in the game itself since that'll make for a different experience~
Nikke OSTs are Bangers! Baaaannngeeeerrrssss!! 🔥🔥👏👏
HECK YEAH THEY ARE~!
Just wait till you get to the song "The Redhood" OMG it's gotta be one of the best songs Nikke has ever produced 😭😆😆😆😆😆
I can’t remember if that’s the one of the songs I reacted to in the next part reaction video, but so far, all has been very very solid!
You can still play Red Ash on the archive. Red Hood... The Goddess squad as a whole story is so tragic they get their own songs.
Goddess squad is best squad
"We Feel Alive" is the cash shop theme. Yep. Gacha gamers feeling alive when we be swipin'
Pilgrims are Nikkes that don't belong to the 3 big factions of Ark of Elysion, Missilis or Tetra, and they tend to be found wandering the surface. Guess that's the best I can put it without spoilers.
"Hold Me Tight" absolutely crushed me when it played during the event. It works so well with the context of the story. Hope you'll enjoy it too.
So they're the wanderers! I do like that concept quite a lot~ Can't wait to experience the music while playing the game now!
Thank you for watching~ hehe If you send me a playlist link, I’ll react to them then!
Mustang is very "fashionable", but he can be cool and serious when situation calls for it. Very much the type of person who can flip an 180 attitude wise in an instant and you really don't want to be on his opposite side.
The more I learn about Mustang, the more I like him
Boss and event songs are amazing, don't get me wrong.
Ooo, chapter music? Is that BGM that plays during each story chapter? Or is it something else?
If I do play Nikke, then I would be: “I was looking for plot and stayed for the plot, characters, and music” 😆
Prologue is chapter 0 - the first song is from the cash shop, so yeah we getting started on the spending LOL.
Oh, okay, cool, so Prologue is chapter 0... that means I should at least complete chapter 0 and maybe chapter 1 in the first livestream~! Thank you for clarifying for me! Really appreciate it~
Hellou! It's nice to see that there's another victim- er, soon-to-be player for NIKKE, especially if they react to media from this wonderful game and try to interpret it in their own way
Also I really like your model, it's the first time I've seen a model have active hands like yours (I only know 4 vtubers, lol). I'm looking forward to your stream!
Thank you for watching my Nikke video! Hope you continue to stay in the community~
And thank you for liking my model too! hehe I love to use my hands a lot to express myself, so it's so fun to use my hands when talking about the game!
[STORY SPOILERS BELOW]
To answer your question, a small handful of the bosses in the game are technically nikkes, but they have been converted to the side of raptures. As a result of this conversion, they have gained the ability to transform into a giant rapture form. It's their transformed forms that the boss fights are based on.
THANK YOU!!! I couldn't figure it out at all (more like I had a long brain fart, including now). XD I bow down to your greatness in thanks. hehe
I can't wait to check out the rest of the music for this game!
Ooo, so that’s the order to unlock! Thank you for the advice!
@@Trailblazer_Ririna Over Zone technically came out first, but Red Ash comes first in the in-universe timeline. Over Zone will definitely hit harder if you experience Red Ash first.
The Question is After What Chapter she should unlock it?? She need context first before she play Redash and Overzone..
Fun fact we are still in prologue confirmed by devs 32 chapters in...also enjoy the story
I wonder how many chapters they intend the prologue to be!
Fun fact about clay, the cheerleader in claymore: when she plays rhythm games, she plays better with earplugs and she couldn't hear the song
Nikke have a 4-koma manga showing funny stuff about each nikke and this is where you find this fun fact out
Somehow, I can feel for her. I'm so bad at rhythm games, so I would probably do better without hearing anything. hahaha But that's so cool that they have a 4-koma manga! Maybe I should check it out in the future~
im not suprised if the songs good

Definitely banger songs~
Some of the songs like burn it all actually has lyrics you just have to turn closed captions on. Hold you tight is one of my personal favorite after the event it makes me tear up every time i listen to it. Also at 5:34 reminded me theres a vtuber named Shabel Tonya who made 2 songs for the game.
They did?!? I just assumed that they didn’t since some of them didn’t. gosh, darn it!
Eeeeeeeeeentertaiment!!!!!!
EEEEEENTERTAINMENTTTTTT!!! Mustang, the best~
Hope you check out for more music this game offer
After world, ONE MORE TIME!, Living Land, Neverland, Over Zone, and Folk Tale all the album i've mentioned is filled with great soundtrack
Hope you enjoy the other genre this game offers like the metal ones like Slaughterer, The clue and The challenger.
Oh and my favorite one that people barely talks about is Tempest the background fits about a nikke that tries to be a hero sounds similar like the score Hans Zimmer - Flight in Man of Steel movies when Superman learns how to fly for the first time
Thank you for watching~ hehe If you send me a playlist link, I’ll react to them then!
Can anyone tell me what music is used in the beginning?!
Oh, that's the BGM for my original song! XD You can find the actual song on my second channel. It's called, "Mizu ni Nagasu"!
if you ever do the Archive stories ill suggest this order to play on its up to you if you want to do the other one first or not (Red Ash) then (Over Zone)
Edit: Ill give you another one try the ost of |Beautiful Shot Event (2nd summer event) | its good
Ohh, although I recommend that you send that to my Server because I rarely remember things (due to having poor memory). Or if I do continue playing the game after the first time, just saying it in the live chat when the time comes is a lot easier for me. haha
5:22 Maybe EDM? A lot of the music seems to have some EDM elements to them
Ooo, good point. It could be that actually!
the game is good writing also
I did hear that to be the case and look forward to experiencing their storytelling style myself!
Pog 🎶🎵🎶🎵
🎼🎶🎵good stuff right there
10:20 yes these are pilgrim nikkes...And thats all you gonna get from me lol its a spoiler XD
The more I think about the pilgrim Nikkes, the more I want to learn about them in the future. hehe
Heratics are corrupted Nikkes. How the corruption works is something confusing.
Ohhh, I see. Thank you for the clarification!
@@Trailblazer_Ririna No problem.
Honestly the music doesnt really sense unless you play the game, the songs are used as mood tones and most of them have lore of the event in them
"Send me music that you like-"
Wait, really?
"-From Nikke."
Ah, that's a much safer option. I've probably too much video game music that I feel is worth a listen.
Yeahhhhh I’ll perish if I get too many reccs 😆
Would be nice if you play game with English voicees because of unnecessary reading, when non players watch it they just leave because of need for pause every SECUNDE and read and also English voice actors are remarkable in this game and they deserve it just as much as JP
I recommend that you vote in the community poll. It’s for viewer’s comfort and convenience, not for me. XD I don’t reread text either if the audio already says it (even if it’s in another language) because that’s kinda awkward to me.
