the company is currently busy with making a new game, idk how big they are but i assume all of the teams are focused on Nikke and developing a new game. Maybe after it is released they'll try making an anime? maybe, hopefully.
so the song is actually from a mobile/pc game called "Goddess of Victory: Nikke" but everyone just refers to it as "Nikke". basically it takes place in a post apocalyptic "Grey goo" scenario world, Grey goo being the idea where robots that use biological material as fuel take over the planet, using humans plants and animals for fuel. these robots are named "Raptures". this song is from the currently running 1 year anniversary event named "Red Ash" taking place almost 100 years before the main game and the song is called "The Red Hood". and its about the main character of the event, who is also referred to as "Red Hood". in retaliation Humanity creates robotic bodies that they implant human brains into, these "Nikkes" (Knee-Kay) as they are called are several orders of magnitude stronger than ordinary humans, and due to their strength they have nanomachines in their brain (referred to as the Nimph). the Nimph prevents the Nikkes from attacking humans, while also requiring squads of them to require a human commander (the player) to give them orders in combat. this song is from the currently running 1 year anniversary event named "Red Ash" taking place almost 100 years before the main game and the song is called "The Red Hood". and its about the main character of the event, who is also referred to as "Red Hood". Red hood is a special case for a character as after an altercation with a powerful rapture she begins suffering from an affliction specific to Nikkes known as "Corruption". corruption occurs when a virus is implanted by a rapture into the Nimph code within the brain of a Nikke, causing them to lose their mind and eventually turn on humanity. the event follows her and Her squad, AKA the Goddess squad, during her last couple of missions while she slowly succumbs to the corruption
Nikke is basically a "came for the T&A, stayed for the story" kinda game. Really hope it gets an anime someday. This song, in particular is a tribute to the game's 1st Anniversary. Game released last year on November 4th.
Such a high energy solo, the bass ramping up and joining with the guitar riff while the drummer sounds like he's trying to hit every pad at once. Really cool song
Hope you react to the other Nikke songs: My suggestions would be: - Stronghold Land Eater - Inferno of Nihilist/Burn it All - Tempest - Kraken Boss Battle - Satelites - Lonely Lovely Cat - One Winged Dark Lord - Black Stallion - Angel's Cry - Our Hometown
Nikke is the mobile and PC gacha game. this song actually titled "The Red Hood", Red Ash is the name of in-game event that's happening now. if you like shooting game with "jiggle physics" at rear. you're welcomed to try. there's a lot of music from this game that worth to react.
For 4 years the mysterious robot called Rapture invaded and relentlessly killed humans with no discrimination. Humans joined hands and started inventing everything they could to fight the Rapture. One of the weapons is called NIKKE. NIKKE is a mechanical body with a human brain inside. While humans continued losing their foothold every day, there was one squad that continued to win against the impossible odd, The Goddess Squad. Fighting Continued. Humans started to notice a new type of attack by the Rapture that only affected NIKKE, The Corruption. The Corruption caused the NIKKE to attack everything nearby like a mindless animal. One of the Goddess Squad, The Red Hood, was afflicted with corruption and slowly losing herself. With the last failed mission to destroy the Rapture's leader, Red Hood decided to leave the squad to fight her last battle.
As the other comments have said, the theme song is set for a character within the mobile/PC game Goddess of Victory: Nikke. The song itself i the representation of the character mentioned as Red Hood and the song itself portrays what kind of characteristics she actually carries, Strong, in both beliefs and strength of brute force, the theme itself portrays her undying willingness to finish what was started from within the games curent running event, as someone who's been with the game since it's launch day on mobile and setting all the jokes aside, the game is actually pretty good, not even talking about the physics either, game actually takes you on one hell of a rollercoaster ride of emotions up to its current update, would highly recommend it if games with good storys and major plot twists are your favorites and just throwing aside the "Physics". At the end of it though the game itself also has a very good OST composed by multiple well-known and semi-known artists, one of the names seen in the game Hiroyuki Sawano who helped composed for one the biggest hit animes during its time - Attack on Titan. Would highly recommend checking out the rest of games soundtrack since there's a huge handful of good bangers composed by Nien and Cosmograph, the main two names that help compose a lot of the music for the game. 👌
I really liked the song “Lovely Lonely Cat” from one of their limited time events. It’s a pretty solid mobile/pc game if you have time to kill, but their music seems to always slap.
This song is made from the game Nikke Goddess of victory. Their songs r really great to listen to n the story is really nice to read. right now is anniversary of the game so its a good time to play for great rewards n the characters so id say try the game if you r interested
How do you apply for Goddess squad? Oh you know, just give your brain to scientists that will wiggle a screwdriver around in it like it's a plate of spaghettis until you're no-longer an asshole then pump it full of nanomachines they barely understand the function of so you can't disobey or cap your commander, replace your memory of being human and then plop it into super powered curvy anime women android bodies. Now you can do cool anime shit and experience the eternal torment of being a "walking ship of Theseus killing machine" with a nearly infinite lifespan that can lose it's mind if it's reminded it's not human or stores too many memories. That's the best case scenario by the way, worst case scenario is your brain's not good enough so you end up as mass-produced cannon fodder with no unique traits. Nikke lore is fucked up. Surface level, it's just hot anime women collecting game but when you dig deeper it's a well crafted depressing dystopian post-apocalyptic world. If it got a full anime, some scenes would be brutal and some others really badass.
@@Dirty10 Shit, how do I answer that... judging from the story so far, for Goddess squad it was pretty much reserved for very unique individuals but then the rest is up in the air... an in-game document says some just applied at recruitment centers and it was advertised like regular army recruitment that got more and more desperate as humanity got closer to defeat.
"So this is for an anime" oh, oh how badly i want this to be true one day 😭
Fucking same bro, let the tears be as powerful as ever.
Hey man we got Arknights delivering to us, Nikke might not be off the lists yet even if we know of the company that runs Nikke.

I don't know if it was mentioned yet but the band is called Cosmograph, I believe they had a guest singer for this.

The vocalist was previously in a band called Animal Alpha, I recommend Bundy from them and now she is a soloist
Thanks!
Dang I haven't heard anyone mention Animal Alpha in like a decade. I thought she sounded familiar!
Djerv,
In Korea Nikke is pronounced "Knee-kay" but don't worry prettymuch everyone gets the name wrong 😂
I recommend another Nikke song - Cosmograph - Nihilister
You stumbled on a banger of a track. Hope you explore more of Nikke music. Cosmograph is a great composer
Goddess of Victory Nikke is a mobile gacha game

you should listen to SATELLITES from nikke. Such a good song, the game in general has tons of really good songs.
If you liked this one, give a try to other songs from the game, personally i'd suggest Inferno of nihilist, Daybreak and Satellites.
Funny is just a game 😭 but good lore 👌🗿
Well.. we also hope the make an anime from it bro
Please vicious vision - bleeding alone❤
