The Colonel sends Fred Dawson and Doc Flanders to investigate a cattleman sheepman war. Posing as a two man medicine show, they quickly become involved. When Fred tries to bring the two sides together, Joe Allison is shot and Fred blamed. With Fred in jail and a lynch mob on the way, Doc tries to break his friend out.

The storyline may be routine but the musical performances are not like any I have seen or heard. I have never seen a character sing their way out of prison before. Entertaining enough and all around an hour.

Have to chuckle about what they refer to as a "guitar in this movie, is really a 4 string Uke, with a mid-sized guitar shaped body. Tuning is way different for a uke's 4 strings, than a guitar, that has 6 strings.

@@westernrider100 I was referring to instrument at location 0031:10 area. That shows only 4 tuning pegs, not 6 . That definitely is not a Guitart my friend. That's definitely a 4 string Ukulele in full view on screen. They're tuned to "My Dog Has FEAS" tuning, or G,C,E,A. That tunng Definity does not sound anything like a 6 string guitar like that shown at area 000:54:11 which should be tuned to E,D,A,G,B,E. which is normal acoustic tuning for a 6 string. The 4 string would sound more like a Hawaiian sound not that of a western styled played acoustic. Admit it, I found a Blooper in this film. They dubbed in the sound of a band playing in background while he was really playing a Ukulele instrument in the film and singing to the lady. My eyes may be failing me these days due to old age, but I am not all that blind my friend. I know what I am talking about as I play both of these instruments and a few other stringed instruments to boot. You can't make a Uke sound anything close to that of a 6 string guitar. Like I said the tuning is totally different between the two instruments. If I can catch this blooper, so can others
