This channel used to be much more poignant, even while discussing television or movies. These are real people, and this take just felt like a writing 101 essay off a cheap headline, narrowly scoped, and beneath the quality of thought the women who started Screen Prism have.
What a disappointing "Take." This video offered nothing but regurgitation of what every other unbiased reporting source would say. The crown apologetics with the "calling the royal family racist was a bad look" is COMICAL. The royal family is racist, obviously. They are ALL about bloodline. It's not controversial, it's not news, it is exactly what you should expect.

No, Meghan did not "arguably start the conversation surrounding mental health," Kate, William and Harry were promoting "Heads Together" and other initiatives years before Meghan arrived. People should like/support whoever they want, but it's important to give credit where it's due. There's been much more of a spotlight on certain initiatives since Meghan's arrival, but royals have been working consistently with mental health/early childhood development issues for decades (just like King Charles is finally getting the recognition he deserves for his decades of environmental work). Love/like/hate (whatever) either Meghan or Kate, it's fact that Kate has put in over a decade of work. For anyone doubting the work working royals put in, look at their schedules; it's impressive. Little to no sick days, having to be the face of a country/smile no matter what is going on behind the scenes, giving up privacy/freedom to a large extent - that's a lot.

Kate's life is funded by the British taxpayer's money and in return, they get what they want, a stoic, and reserved public figure. Meghan gives the public reasons to feel angry and like they must fight "the system" which is what social justice warriors that listen to her podcasts and other public appearances crave in the first place. So, depending on who you are and how you see the world, one of these women will probably give you what you need.

The general sentiment among us Brits is that the entire monarchy is a waste of money and is dying. There's a decent size of royalists usually older, or blue blooded, that will have protesters arrested for 'spoiling their fun' but they're like a sideshow with too much money as influence in an increasingly aware population that's realising inequality doesn't happen by chance.

People just love to pit two women against each other. The whole Kate vs Meghan rivalry was a hot topic for a good minute along with accusing Meghan of ruining the royal family by doing this or that. The press wanted to come up with drama anyway they could and now that Meghan is out of the picture and somewhat out of their reach via leaving the freaking country to get away from everything they've lost the one that could always guaranteed the public's interest. That's why more interest is being brought back to Kate and the whole affair. They need more drama about the royal family and they can only get that from Harry and Meghanwhen they actively go somewhere public or do interviews. Kate having to take on more responsibility when Harry and Meghan left probably isn't what upset her but more so being unable to hide and relax when all the attention was on Meghan whenever the press felt she was doing something wrong and not in the royal family's interest.

Catherine wanted William and accepted, that her life would never be her own, would always belong to the public, and would never get a moment of privacy. And guess what? It works. The general sentiment among us Brits is that the entire monarchy is a waste of money and is dying. There's a decent size of royalists usually older, or blue blooded, that will have protesters arrested for 'spoiling their fun' but they're like a sideshow with too much money as influence in an increasingly aware population that's realising inequality doesn't happen by chance.
Honestly, Kate is not a victim or a villain, she is a winner. She understands the assignment and is delivering, unlike somebody else that should not be named.

People just love to pit two women against each other. The whole Kate vs Meghan rivalry was a hot topic for a good minute along with accusing Meghan of ruining the royal family by doing this or that. The press wanted to come up with drama anyway they could and now that Meghan is out of the picture and somewhat out of their reach via leaving the freaking country to get away from everything they've lost the one that could always guaranteed the public's interest. That's why more interest is being brought back to Kate and the whole affair. They need more drama about the royal family and they can only get that from Harry and Meghanwhen they actively go somewhere public or do interviews. Kate having to take on more responsibility when Harry and Meghan left probably isn't what upset her but more so being unable to hide and relax when all the attention was on Meghan whenever the press felt she was doing something wrong and not in the royal family's interest.
