Funny... you treated Harold like a fictional character the whole movie... I treated him like a real person the whole time... a real person that some how has his life decided by a random writer that is unaware of him
This was literally the ONLY Will Ferrell film I’ve ever liked. I don’t find him funny, so his “funny” movies I always found to be hella cringe. But this one? Cried in the theaters (I was dragged by a friend and her mom) and it remains one of my favorite movies to this day.
Went into this vid expecting a casual refresh of this movie since I’d already seen it (15 years ago) but had to stop halfway through because I realized I do NOT remember where the story goes. Thanks for reminding me of a forgotten gem I now get to relive.
i saw this movie years ago, and i remembered that Harold read through the draft where he dies, and thinks it's so good that he accepts his death. But the problem with that is that i can't imagine that draft being anywhere near that good to justify me giving my life up

I think this is Will Ferrell's best role.

Same.
I always really liked this movie. It always felt a little sweet, a little sad, and a lovely watch.
Such a lovely watch
Always has been and always will be one of my favorite movies.
This is one of my favourite films of all time.

Banger, subbed for the new black mirror analysis videos, staying subbed because of stuff like this.

14:35 Could the speed have looked more consistent? Yes. My two cents? We are shown this is that bus driver's first day on the job.
I've deducted from this review that Harold's next of kin aren't contacted because their characters haven't been developed by the author 🤔
Not a fan of Will Ferrell at all but love this concept. Very 'Stanley Parable'
Requiem For A Dream is absolutely worth a watch
Wait til you realize it’s literally the Truman show. Down to “ex comedy actor tries a comedy/drama to break the mold”
Tappy Tappy
Ah, a favorite of mine.
How can anyone be against taxation
This is one of the best written movies of all time! Up there with the Truman Show!
Only reason I even know about this film is because it was one of the trailers on the dvd for casino royal
That a good thing?
Dude did not understand the movie😂
