Nice explaination. We have small impulse turbine installed. Steam pressure at inlet of ESV is 41 Bar g. At outlet ESV before turbine nozzle, pressure shows 10barg. Is it possible so much pressure drop? Reason may be jammed strainer?

Trip oil is not used for valve opening , start up oil uses for stop valve opening after Trip oil generation it only keeps stop valve hold at open position.

It's depends on design heat rate of turbine, steam at tg inlet if having higher heat content it takes less steam to produce 1mw or if steam having less heat content it's taking more steam for producing 1mw Power.
