I would have loved to have been able to get to Blackpool to see the air show this year. Thankyou Stephen for filming it as you did a sterling job as usual m8y 👏🏻 All the best. ☺️🍻👍
Excellent work again Steve, even though I was at the Airshow it’s alway great to get a different perspective. And those sand flies plagued me all day. Well done to Frank also I will subscribe now
Helicopters can dive, can go straight up, go backwards, are more versatile than most members of the public can appreciate. Training of pilots occurs in the likes of the Welsh valleys, along with jets, and you can see the pilots fairly close up because of the low flying they do in and out of the valleys.
The Lancaster bomber flew over Huyton, on its way to the air show, and we did wonder what was going on as we did not know an air show was going on. Chinooks are mainly out of Salisbury, and are equally heavy cargo lifts, used to airlift munitions and machinery for the first Gulf war, having to fly over Marchwood, Southampton at night, under the cover of darkness, though the rotars not exactly silent.
That footage turned out well 😀 If it wasn't for you, I'd never have had a chance to get "eye level" with the pilots. It was exceptionally kind and generous of you. Thank you.😀
A walk on the wild side in sight bomb aimer, ok skipper bomb doors open , bombs gone , damage report bomb aimer , blew is sandles off and the cornetto out of his hand skipper , oh wait we've inadvertently set fire to a hotel and he's filming it
@@lindanagle5081 in a chinook? Sounds like fun. I live in east herts and we see chinooks flying over sometimes in pairs. They have such a distinctive sound you just know they are coming.

Yes I've been to the Mach Loop a few times.
Heard you with "Oh my goodness" at 2:38. Whilst watching the Chinook display.

We just got back from a great few days at Blackpool we watch the air show on the hot Saturday all my shots on my camera are mostly of sea gulls
I would've been there if I could 👍
Me 2
Just a quick update re........red arrows Rhyl, they had 7 reds
Yeah they are flying with 7 this year due to an incident in Greece involving 2 pilots.
Cheers Frank and who did I see wearing his famous yellow tee shirt 👍
Hello Stephen it was me what let on to you yesterday as you walk past me as you was walking to the show
I’ve met you
Seen the Bpool air show many times once you seen it once you have seen it a dozen times as it's the same every year
I wonder what would happen if that chinook did a loop. I don't think I'd like to watch it actually😂
It would get very messy. I have flown in one.

@@lindanagle5081 cool👍very few people get to say they have flown in a chinook. Must have been noisey inside they make a lot of noise don't they.
