I would imagine file size requirements would differ depending where you are trying to upload to. I never bumped into issues on Itch.io but I imagine they too would have restrictions. I'm confused when you say your file size is 700mb and 5240mb max... 5240mb's would definitely be more than 1 gb though, 700 should be fine.
