Sometimes it is better be unaffordable so it won't be damaged.
Sadly, most of us Venezuelans have only seen this in photos and videos. Paying such prices is impossible for the ordinary citizen. Yes, it is beautiful but unaffordable.
it’s evil that we have to pay to view things natural in nature…
It's very sad that Venezuelans in their own country cannot afford to see this famous wonder.
@@myriftwarden
You aren't paying to be allowed to view it. You are paying for the salary of the tour guides, the vehicles and materials used to get you to the falls, the fuel, the insurance, etc.
There's nothing evil about paying for people's time and effort, or paying for goods and services.
If you want to walk to the falls by yourself nobody is charging you anything.
@@hopworksup literal
Agree, the regular Venezuelan might have to save at least six month of his salary to make it here.
In 1992 i traveled to Venezuela. Fantastic Landscapes, warm and humorous people. Mucha fuerza y todo lo mejor para los Venezolanos.
My beautiful country 🇻🇪I wanna go back ✈❤ thanks U and Welcome to Venezuela 🙏🇻🇪
Most people in Venezuela Aren’t able to live a decent and happy life in their own country due to the government that basically took away their way of living Able to afford anything. Happy to see that the indigenous people living around these waterfalls can stay and preserve whatever cultural and natural beauty
I'm from Trinidad , that's natural beauty , and the purerest of water , that comes from between the rocks
This is one of the most magical places I have ever been. The energy is so intense that your body even feels different. Happy New Year everyone and best wishes for 2023. Love and be safe!😘🤗🌼🇻🇪
Thank you! Happy New Year!
This documentary/tour guide video , is full of wallpapers 😀😀
Now on the bucket list ☺️
Truly an undiscovered heaven
Very beautiful wallpapers, you have to admit that! 😁
Saludos desde canaima Venezuela Daniel Linares por acá...gracias por tomarme en cuenta y nos vemos pronto por acá en canaima... Visítenos pronto
I've always wanted to go. I did a report on it in school
A todos los que quieran venir bienvenidos al paraíso Venezuela 🇻🇪🍾🥂🎉🎉🎉
The view at 5:17 with the kiss of the sun in the vegetation looks so beautiful. Sort of reminds me of the vegetation back home in Cameroon, Equatorial Africa. I also wish that the Pemon name for the falls will catch on more than the Westernized version.
I visited the Vantawng waterfall in India that was incredible nice 200m tall. I can't imagine how tall this is. Thanks for the videos🙂
A magnificent piece of work by God Almighty himself--well done, King of the Universe! Venezuela is lucky to have such a gift from God in a landmark.

Salam dari Indonesia 🙏🏻
Saya berharap suatu saat bisa ke tempat ini, air Terjun yang indah 🙏🏻
At the age 0f 10 years, way back in 1958 I spent 5 days in Canaima with my parents. In those days, Avensa was the only airline landing there at a grass strip using a DC-3. A memorable flight. It left Maiquetia to Ciudad Bolivar; refueled and then to Canaima. The plane circled several times over the tepui at Salto Angel. before landing at Canaima. Jimmy Angel's derelict plane could be seen at the top of the waterfall. Canaima then was only small village with accommodation houses built by AVensa or Perez Jimenez. Unable to remember. Swam in the lagon. Had an awesome time at the waterfalls. One was not able to go to foot of the waterfalls in those days. A Dutch hermit, by the name of Rudy used to live nearby the foot of the Salto Angel. I remember being told that he used to come to Canaima down the river once every few weeks to pick up provisions before returning to his hut.
Amazing, thank you so much for sharing this with us!
Simply Awesome, such an Majestic Falls , just by seeing it in this video brings immense joy ❤❤❤
I know it'd be great if everyone could go to Angel Falls, but if this is any consolation, Venezuela has amazing places in every corner of every city, I know that everyone would like to go to that place but in the meantime they can explore their own city and I'm sure they will find incredible places. I was born in the States but I live in Caracas I'm 26 and I love my country 🇻🇪
Is Venezuela safe for foreigners? Ten years ago a friend invited me to a wedding there (his wife is from Venezuela - Maracaibo), but in the end the wedding was in Europe and they stayed to live here too. They say there is a high risk of kidnapping for foreigners there, and from what I've been watching the news from Europe, the situation in Venezuela is not improving.
@@Nhkg17 I can tell you that there are a lot of foreign tourists traveling around the country on motorcycles right now, you know, they're on their own, each one doing their own thing. You can see how they're documenting it on UA-cam. But if your plan is to visit specific places like the jungle, waterfalls, or the beach, I can assure you that there's no danger. Actually, those are the safest places. But you can verify what I'm saying by searching on UA-cam. The thing is, most of the tourists who record their trips speak Spanish.
Thanks for amazing video.great...fortunate to watch this megistic water fall through your eyes 👏🙏
I saw a documentary about Angel Falls. A boy and and old man flew in a balloon to the top and encountered a crazy guy that was hunting endangered birds from a zeppelin.
😳
'UP' ... a Pixar film
This is an excellent video ! Everything I saw brought back wonderful memories.
I used to take my countrymen on tours of Venezuela. Been there 42 times.
I have been to Canaima twice, the last time being 2015. At that time a 2-night package with air fare, hotel accommodation, meals and all waterfall tours was US$500.
On both those trips I have taken Venezuelan friends with me, paying for their expenses. As it was, and still is, the trip is beyond the means of the people of Venezuela, seeing their economic situation. Canaima, being in a remote location, without road access is a great contributor to this. Too, a boat trip to Salto Angel for 3 hours would not be cheap. Most visitors you meet there were foreigners, from as far as Japan !
Sorry, but on the other hand, visits by the masses, would compromise the pristine natural environment.
This is such a shame !
Trinidad & Tobago.
West Indies.
Thanks for sharing your memories!
Beautiful falls in the world!
Just incredible
Without a doubt, this is a nostalgic imprint that remains fresh in Joel Dullroy's memory.
Wonderful
Being an Indian..I have my dreams to visit once there in Angel
Greet from Malaysia🇲🇾 have a nice day buddy!
Paradise 😍
Incredible. This video made a new spot on my bucket list
Amazing
Awesome Awesome footage and people!!!
I was there when Chavez was still president and still had relations with the USA. I went alone
and met a bush pilot Edgar Torrialba who took me to Kavak. That was the best adventure I've
ever had. I don't remember it being very expensive. The flora on the way to the falls is stupendous.
Thank you for sharing this video. It is so beautiful.
Amazing peace of mother earth..awsome journey. Wonderful tour.
Subhan Allah
Before leaving Venezuela in 2005 this was in my bucket list, but I never got around to it. I'll probably never do it now.
Perhaps its for the best that it should remain an exclusive, low volume tourist area. A large tourist operation would change the place quite dramatically and not for the best
Welcome to Venezuela 🇻🇪
Looks amazing.
Thank you❤
Beautiful park.soon I declare will visit❤
Paradise falls, Life is adventure 😊

Epic destination. It is on both of our bucket lists. As Americans, it may take a little while before we can expect to visit. In the meantime thanks for sharing this. Have a happy new year. Cheers to more adventures and the growth of your channel and ours in 2023. - Turtle
@OldSolesTravel Happy New Yeat to you, too and stay tuned!

My great great great grandfather discovered the angel falls Ernesto sanchez de la Cruz.
Wow!
Very good video, my kid loved seeing your adventure. It had a lot of heart to it ❤
I flew over the Falls in an Avenza 727. Terrifying!
Amazing very 😱😱
I climbed Monte Roraima in the same national park in October. It cost 1530 dollars and I was told Salto Angel is much more expensive. 1200 sounds like I will do it in May. Thanks for the video, I know no footage cane do it justice, but already looks stunning and definitely is a place I need to visit before leaving Latin America after 3 years.
All prices are changing due to the recent increase in official USD exchange rates.
Lol that is a lot, but yeah, prices for foreigners are always a lot more than nacional, since tourist agencies will charge a lot more and give you luxuries. In 2015 you could go to roraima for 100$, right now it should be around 500-1000 for regular hikers
Wow it wonders
Beautiful God's Creation😍
The canaima park as a whole is beautiful not only the waterfall
Paradise Fall from UP.
Can you link the tour you did?
I watched the video image of angel falls for the first time in the movie 'point break', and was surprised why this spectacular wonder remained less known.
This video is good enough for me.
Venezuela 🇻🇪 ❤
Viva Venezuela!!
Sungguh Luar Biasa
He's correct the ingenious are the discoverers .

My dream. Someday...

Never, underestimate Mother Nature ❤🌄🙏
Unfortunately the political and economic situation in Venezuela now means it is not safe to visit the country. I had the extremely good fortune to see Cairiama National Park in 1996, when going to Venezuela was still reasonably safe. The park is certainly one of the great natural wonders of the world, not just Angel Falls, the lagoon, the tepuis, but Jasper and many other falls as well. It was wonderful to swim in the water hole below Angel Falls, knowing there is nowhere else in the world that you can see waterfalls as high or higher. The falls also featured about 20 years or so ago in a programme featuring the 50 places in the world you should see before you die.
I visited the area in 1996 . That walk behind El Sapo falls was so thrilling ! I remember we had to put our - then more primitive - cameras in waterproof bags and give them to the guide so we could focus on following the rope-line through the sometimes blinding spray ! We hiked to that viewpoint at 3:40 but that's the closest we got . Would love to have reached that swimming hole area at 5:53. Maybe some day I'll revisit ? I expect Canaima has changed a little since '96 ....
What an exciting tour - thanks for sharing your memories with us!
for ta my sister, Kuya James🇬🇧❤️❤️

4:50 Angel Falls can't even escape the duck face and peace sign🤦♂
Stunning views . absolutely beautiful
Simply stunning.. Canaima has been on my list but I don't kid myself.. it is dangerous, this is a very politically unstable and unpredictable part of the world to be in
Well, you should hear to your inner voice when it comes to such adventurous plans, we think.
brother ! I am Venezuelan and I live in VENEZUELA and it is not like before! There are more dangerous countries! do not be afraid
Seriously, 1500USD is nothing to the experience one is getting in return.
5 days? That's too long. Is it possible to do it in 2 or 3?
Yes there are several ways
Why water looks red and dark? Also, forming foams? The waterfall is in soo remote place it's impossible to pollute this majestic
Is not polluted, is because of the leafs that taint the water like a cup of tea.

Salto Ángel is the proper name of this national monument, it should not be translated, in any case it should be Salto Ángel falls.
Salto Ángel es el nombre propio de este monumento nacional, no debe traducirse, en todo caso debería ser traducido como Salto Ángel falls.
Missed opportunity to respect Ernesto Flores wish and call this video “Exploring Kerepakupai in Venezuela.”
Outlander movie was shot here I guess
@Dw in Pakistan u can find more higher water fall then this in Northern areas kohistan side
Habla de caída ininterrumpida.
" KEREPAKUPAI VENA " Salto
At first he said only the very rich could afford this trip. Then later he said $1200 for 5 days, food and lodging included? That's not expensive at all!
There are no crocodiles?
Kerepak Falls
How many bugs r there?
Probably a lot! 😀
This is not angel Falls, it has the the native which should respected and honoured,
I paid more than that to stay 8 days at a market priced BnB in California, not including air fare...
From up
where is elly & mrs. fredicson?
It's not a problem let it me expensive to save its nature

They don't have any local name for this national treasure? Name it after the land on where it is falling.
1200$ is quite reasonable by international standards and definitely worth every cent for this privilege.
At least the pilot it was named after wasn't named something like Joe Smith. Seriously.
