- Shot here in HD, Iguazu is the largest collection of cataracts in the world. There are 275 individual falls that run together to form this panorama. The heligimbal camera system's ability to twist and pan as it flies over the falls captures the magnitude of Iguazu and gives a new perspective to the familiar aerial flyover.
I went to these falls in 1994. I want to go back again someday. Truly a memorable experience. Video doesn't do these falls justice.

I went there in 1994 too,around November, I was 8 yo. Maybe we were there together and didnt even know. I remember taking a tour guide down to the falls then getting on a boat and travelling up river closer to the falls. Them we walked on the bottom of the falls and let the water shower ourselves.

I can only imagine the sound of all of that water falling like that. Just pure, raw power!

I got back yesterday from the Iguazù Falls and truly believe it to be one of the top natural wonders of the world and should be added to your bucket list. I went after going to Antarctica, two birds, one stone.

I went visiting back in 2017 . It’s absolutely breathtaking . You can see them on both sides of the Brazil and Argentina borders

I was here in 2007. The motivation for me to do this miracle, the waterfalls, was, "Niagara, just a dripping faucet, compared to this sight." / Words by Lajos Miller, Hungarian opera singer / Then I decided that I should see this! It was an unforgettable and extraordinary experience! I closed this place in my heart. Maybe they'll give it to me in the future to see it again ... I love Iguazú, I love Brasil.❤️
That's funny because Niagara falls actually have a larger flow rate/discharge than Iguazu falls

The opera singer - probably - did not think about the numerical differences in the waterfalls, but wanted to express his personal impression with this characterization. He said Iguacu was much more influenced by him, impressed him more than Niagara. Anyway, this sentence had such an effect on me that I was determined, one day, to do this miracle, I have to see it.😊

The Iguaçu Falls are the 4 highest behind Angel Falls, Venezuela Tugueka South Africa and Victoria's Falls. And it is the one with the highest volume of water in the rainy season, like now in October for example, so much so that the visits were interrupted due to risk due to the amount of water under the walkways. And they are the most extensive because they cut the Iguaçu River in its length and not in its width.

I've been. Only once though, I'm from Canada, so I'm only a few hours away from Niagra falls, which are great in their own right, these falls are something I'll never forget. Ever.

@Anomic Anchorite Yes, and it's very unfair! You can thank Bolsonaro for this one but many Brazilians like me are distraught with this decision and I hope the next government will change course. We can only have visa exemption when Americans give us the same, that had always been the policy before US lapdog Bolsonaro.

I was there around 10-11 yrs! The most impressive natural phenomenon I have ever seen
I am a Brazilian from Novo Hamburgo, near Porto Alegre. Already visited lots of places in the country, but not Iguaçu nor the canyons on my own state.
Surprisingly, the longest continuous waterfall in the world (always take these "the most in the world" with a grain of salt however) is located in my state... 1800m.
And it's a tourist attraction unknown even in most of Brazil.
They are only 10 meters high in average

He's crazy. The iguazu falls are not part of the Amazon river. The Amazon is all the way up north of Brazil and starts in Peru.

Check out The Khone Falls in Laos. It's the biggest waterfall in southeast Asia. You can hear it rumbling miles and miles away before you see it. Very scary.
I have an intense phobia of huge waterfalls and water fountains. Have no idea why because I am fine with swimming in water.

The narrator said Amazon....he was wrong. It's Iguazu river. Amazon flows.from through the north of Brazil but Iguazu falls is at the southern tip of Brazil.

The Iguazú Falls have no relation whatsoever to the Amazon river. The Iguazú River is a tributary of the Paraná River, which is one of the two major branches of the Río de la Plata basin (River Plate) whose journey to the sea is several thousand miles away from the Amazon, not even in the same large country, but between the frontiers of Argentina and Uruguay.
