      Soooo happy to hear this. We need music and joy right now more than ever! Very glad to hear you're taking some creative time for yourself - it is SO important, and when your kids see you valuing that for yourself, they will value it too. Win win!! 😊💕

    Wow you certainly put a lot into explaining the difference between playing a Uke and delivering expression from a song. I have really enjoyed this. I have been playing about 7 months from scratch and felt I had plateaued a bit. This is really refreshing ❤

      Great to hear! Yes, if you're speaking (or teaching!) the language of music, it can easily translate to other instruments. Enjoy!

    This is challenging as a beginner but I feel like it's worth it because I prefer to have some variety in songs. I feel like having one strum pattern throughout an entire song is boring. So thanks for adding some different options in! It would help to show the strum pattern as you do the play-along though, sometimes I'm getting lost.

    • @UkuleleWineTime
      @UkuleleWineTime  3 місяці тому +1

      I agree with you on the strumming patterns! It's nice to have a few options to try out. And you can still keep it nice and simple. Keep working on counting and building a solid foundation of rhythm - that is the absolute KEY to making strumming easier! Keep going - you got this! 🥰

    I might try down strum only, sometimes I add to my videos what I can play at the moment, which isn't much anyway and sound horrible. Mostly scout songs.

    • @UkuleleWineTime
      @UkuleleWineTime  2 місяці тому

      Starting with a solid down strum is a great place to start! Keep building your strong foundation of rhythm and then you'll be able to level up your strumming patterns with time. Remember to be kind to yourself - progress, not perfection!
