A fan later sent Liam an email saying that they could no longer watch or support the channel in good conscience because of that specific joke, and it really upset Liam to hear. It's generally believed (I dunno if it was ever confirmed) that that incident was one of the big contributing factors to Liam deciding to leave the channel.
@@andrewhopkins2523 Yeah I was never a fan of Liam, but I will defend him in this situation as I personally don't find anything wrong with this joke. He didn't call Woolie one, and in fact Woolie originated the usage of that word in this group so there's literally no harm here within the context of the situation. Worst part is, you can see that Liam leaving actually adversely effected the zaibatsu and may have been the first step into the channel's dissolution.
Okay... on the "Origin of the species" of furries, I blame Disney A LOT, specifically their Robin Hood movie, and that was back in the early 70's. Though to be fair, you KNOW there were ancient Greeks thinking about the Minotaur and getting all horny. Or is that the origin of monstergirls (monsterboys?) Anyway, this game. It's got such an odd feeling, you can TELL it used to be another game before Star Fox got smashed into it, all these Land Before Time dinosaurs and Grant Kirkhope music make it feel very strange. I end up comparing every 3D platformer with animal protagonist to Ratchet and Clank, so this game never really interested me :/
I won't get into it too deeply because I don't want to be the fuckin furry historian, but the first furry conventions were in the 80's. What's kind of neat is the 80's furries were also in many of the same circles as people who first dubbed anime in english.
This coupled with the fact that Matt coined Castle Super Beast in the DS3 LP, I almost feel like they agreed to trade brand names when the breakup happened.

1:46:33 you're welcome
You can hear the exact moment when Woolie is choking on his regret for inventing the phrase, right here 1:46:35
He's just sayin brudda, blitzball
i love the slow burn from "years of polish" and "high quality in all aspects" to them realizing this game flat out isn't finished
This game is like Blood II, it desperately needed more time and it shows.
The pop-offs for Andross and Falco are just the best.
3:00:48 This will never not be fucking hilarious how Woolie & Matt get trolled by the game TWICE in a row.

Time to get down with this, SICK, BEAT!
Imagine someone hacking Liam’s phone and replacing the text tone to the sound those flying things make.
The guy that stole his blankets and legos already did that
I hear Woolie do the voice in my dreams
It’s still wild to me that this game released with so many stock sound effects. They’re so distracting.
The one dinosaur making jaguar noises
1:44:46 Oh my god that Matt laugh. Bro turned into Goofy for a minute.
I swear to god he almost said garsh like goofy

1:46:34 Liam using the N word in context and Woolie didn't even flinch. Ah, old school youtube 😂

Centaurs too
Why can’t the warpstone warp dinosaurs on dinosaur planet?
Just now thought about this. He literally does nothing for anyone on the planet, can only teleport a singular mammal. He’s worthless to these people.
It’s not an inability. It’s choice. Fuck anything that has scales- that guy

So what you're telling me is that there's a plausible chance that some anime dub veterans were *probably* furries once upon a time?
