Hey Johnny me too , is 57 an age or a variety on a Baked Bean can? Still riding my motorcycle and hating every car driver on the road! Grow up- never ! As long as the music's good and theres gas in the Bike!
Charlie Starr is one of the best southern rock guitar players in the world. Absolutely amazing. These guys are the real deal. Just bare necked "We Love Our Jobs"
Yeah then I turned 60 a little while ago! Darn. Btw love those flares the singer is wearing, haven't worn a pair since about '85. Where do they sell them?
Sturgis...2006...Full Throttle Saloon..where I first heard Blackberry Smoke and this is to this day one of my favorite versions of this song! Met them hungout great guys!! My advice listen to more Blackberry Smoke!!
I'm a hard rock; classical; jazz; heavy metal fan and Hell, even people with my tastes have to recognize that bands like BlackBerry Smoke are very important I hope they last for hundreds of years
I had the great pleasure of meeting and hanging out with these guys for a couple years back in 2006 and they kicked ass then and still kicking ass today! Keep on rocking guys! Can't wait to see you in Columbus Ohio in April 2022!
Mannnnn....yall just got a new Fan ....love the style...had me flashing back to the 60s and 70s .. had my hair back down to my shoulders....till Uncle Sam got me ...
The first time i saw these dudes i knew they were going to make it. These guys are the shit Now they are for real, thanks for bringing back Southern Rock 💚🍀✌
Hey I'm fitting to turn 57 in October . Same feeling . I'm a Elvis fan and he opened my eyes to music most wouldn't listen to so for that I appreciate the fact they called him the king . He dropped kicked doors for bands like this ....
You've brought new life to the whole genre that the World needs to hear at a deafening level that will be heard around the World in 80 days, keep going until Your horses can't go any further then hop on that train and keep on rolling down the tracks!
I have loved Southern Fried rock from the 70s ( Lynard Skynard, Molly Hatcher,Blackfoot, the outlaws ,TheAllman brothers, Marshal Tucker;,Charly Daniels ,Elvin Bishop, The black crows, ZZTop, etc) all my life. These folks have brought the sound back and sound amazing! Pray they bring more of that music with other bands in the future!!!
Don’t forget about Jimmy Hall and Wet Willie. Jimmy recently toured with Jeff Beck. He still sounds great and if you make it to Nashville there’s a decent chance you can see him.
I'm not a southerner or am i white. Instead I'm Native American and from Az. I grew up listening to southern rock back in the 70s as my older cousins did. I can absolutely appreciate these boys and their music.
need VOICE!! THE VERY BEST part of the movie "O Brother Where Art Thou?" was this song, and the singer's hicky-fied VOICE! It never fails to bring joy!
Eric Young I was there. What a show it was! Be sure to catch them at The Shed for the real experience. This was great but The Shed is a whole different experience entirely.
Wow, these guys are good. I'm a 72 year old rock and roll fan and this band could easily have been big back in the 60's-70's. Oh, and I learned of them from Rock Hard Riffs.
Saw these good aul boys in Belfast last week. Utterly phenomenal! Their live versions are better than their studio record. So so so so impressed with these guys they deserve way way more play #texasbaby
Saw them at the Hollywood bowl opening for Zac Brown band back in 2010 and have seen them multiple times in concert. They kick ass. Even when a fight broke out right in front of them at the house of blue in Anaheim. That was a crazy one. 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
Just discovered these guys on UA-cam this past summer. Then I found out they were scheduled to play in my home town, Montreal last March 11th 2020. The same day Montreal went on lockdown for Covid. Not sure if that show took place. I hate the thoughts of bands like this playing live shows in my city and not even knowing about them. They would have to carry me out after a show like this. I would DIE to see this live in a small club or venue.
I'm a die hard metal fan, all kinds or metal, but I grew up with good ol country and I fuckin love these guys. Like my dad listened to with a perfect twist. These guys and red fang I find closely comparable
Blackberry Smoke combines all my favorites....Skynyrd...electric...a little country...badass distortion.....drawl...God I love it...my music buddies in Texas will love it and at the same time hate me because they are not from Texas
Georgia Satellites,so under rated or under appreciated. Most people only know them for the "Keep your Hands to Yourself " song but they were awesome. I love "All Over But The Cryin" epic tune
Did I leave a comment yet? If yes, heres another, watching this for the second time leaves me in awe, these guys got serious music skills and all the Southern rock bands before them would be proud of the way BS is keeping the flame alive and ..well...roaring!
My cousin just turned me into this band, just mentioning them in conversation, this is the third track I've listened to already in lurrrvvvv with them there really cool, CD on order ☺.
was always a fan of the "pickin" albums where they'd take say the Beatles but, with bluegrass. This is the reverse and it works. Love it guys. Keep it up
I'm an Old Hippie - I'm 68 - and feel like 30... and I love Southern Rock! Allman Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd and theese rockers! Went to Berlin last summer to see LySky on their Farewell Tour and theese guys were the starting act... Oops, never heard of them! Well, keep on rocking. Love you guys!
I’ve watched this a hundred times if I’ve watched it once. You can almost feel the amps moving the air off the stage when Charlie turns his volume knob up.
Updated version for sure!! My favorite is by The Dillards I think from their Roots and Branches album nearly 50 years ago now. Still, I enjoyed this one too....good job fellas!!! Steve, Wasilla, AK
he makes some good noise with that Melody Maker, had one like it back in 1960 (my first electric) wish I still had it. and the infamous upside down strat (gibson Thunderbird)
Ass kicking rock still lives!!!!!!! And so do I at 76!

These cats got somethin’ magical goin’ on. This rendition is brilliant. Better then any other version I’ve ever heard . Right on.
I love my age, us people in our 50's know what great music is all about
Ya know we'll be saying that in the future about the stuff you think is garbage to your great grandkids and then they'll do the same, so on so forth
Yeah then I turned 60 a little while ago! Darn. Btw love those flares the singer is wearing, haven't worn a pair since about '85. Where do they sell them?

56 and proud owner of two Les Pauls. You guys are legit. Long live Southern Rock!
Eric, my man, you captured Charlies Guitar, what a sound! This is my go-to video for getting some real guitar distortion. Man I love this.
I'm a hard rock; classical; jazz; heavy metal fan and Hell, even people with my tastes have to recognize that bands like BlackBerry Smoke are very important
I hope they last for hundreds of years
As long as there are folks like us with ears for great music they will be around long after I've kicked off my clogs.
And that's triple for me this old Southern boy ! 👍👍👍👍
Saw them at the Ryman in Nashvegas a couple of years ago Charlie Starr could sing the phone book and it would sound good.
Oh my...I could put this on loop and listen to it 24/7. Awesome! :D

Charlie Starr & BBS are National Treasures...listening/watching EVERY SONG is a “WOW” experience....❤️💥❤️
Saw them live and it fuckin changed my whole perspective of live music... They put on a show for the fans and fuck all else.
You've brought new life to the whole genre that the World needs to hear at a deafening level that will be heard around the World in 80 days, keep going until Your horses can't go any further then hop on that train and keep on rolling down the tracks!
