Seven hells, this ship is totally going to ruin me. Especially because I will never understand what the hell the show writers were thinking during s05/s06. But, hey, at least this two shared some scenes (even though I would have prefered it if Arya would have trained while Harrenhal!Jaqen did his job in Oldtown...)
Anyway, this focuses pretty much on the lyrics and on Arya's current state of mind. Because she just feels betrayed by Jaqen at the moment. I'm still all for that Braavos!Jaqen and Harrenhal!Jaqen weren't the same Faceless Man but I also have no clue what the show is doing anyway. I just spend my days in fear and anxiety before s07 starts and then I will probably cry because of what might happen. Currently, I just lost my faith that any kind of show (or couple for which my heart totally bleeds; especially THEM because shipping them causes me physically and mentally pain) let things end the way I want. (It's about time I write my own book, so I can create badass love stories à la Eleni-style which end good without ruining the plot or characters...)
Well, well, I could babble to whole day about them. xDD
This is more of an angsty (not really, but it's not happy) video. But I swear as soon as they meet again (and have ONE LITTLE MOMENT BECAUSE I NEED THAT), I might use more couple-like songs. xDD
Dedication goes to all shippers because it's amazing how the fandom comes alive now. I honestly thought after s05/s06 many gave up shipping but it the CONTRARY and this makes me so happy! (Seriously the ffs are never-ending! I can barely catch it up. Which is the reason I haven't commented on many yet but I also want to do that. Because I'm going on vacation for two weeks next Saturday and I hope I can read it all. xDD)
And, yeah for TW being in season 7! :DDD

Arya and Jaqen are each half part of a whole. She begins her lessons with Syrio at midday, kills Walder Frey at midday, Jaqen made a massacre with the Lannister soldiers at midnight. They are formidable killers in the black and use weapons rather than poison. Jaqen observed Arya at Harrenhal, Arya studies Jaqen in the house of black and white, she knows as much about him as she knows about herself now. If they work together, they can carry out big things.
Yes, I totally agree with everything you say! (Very good observation with Arya doing her kills midday while he did at midnight! :DD)
Jaqen might even know her better than she does herself, so it seems. And I think Arya is absolutely able to handle someone like Jaqen without being afraid. He had always been a part of her story.
They better work as a team in the future! The things they could manage together would be epic! :)
Great work :) I'm always happy when people share Arya/Jaqen stuff. The best couple on Thrones. I don't even care about Jon and Dany that much now. I just want to see more of Arya and Jaqen story.

I wish Arya met Jaqen in Braavos in the book. The producers say the outline of the show and the books is the same so I hope she will meet real Jaqen eventually in next book. There are so many boring chapters in Dance with Dragons and nothing about Jaqen. I know it's a blasphemy but I blame George Martin for ruining such a potential story :(((
+across_the_narrow_sea It definitely would have been more interesting. Im the books they have only interacted in CoK and this was such a long time ago. I don't get it how GRRM can introduce a set up for such an awesome relationship and then simply leave it. Really, I kinda hate him for that, too... I just hope he won't go with this Gendrya shit (Why is the majority so into this? I DON'T GET IT!) because this would be so disappointing... Especially since Arya totally forgot about that blacksmith and every monologue of hers switches to Jaqen at some point anyway! xD
I think the show wouldn't have brought Jaqen back into Arya's storyline if he wouldn't play a role for her later. But sadly we can't tell since, like you said, GRRM didn't do much...
I am very dissapointed with Dance with Dragons and not only because of lack of Jaqen but Tyrion and Dany story isn't that great either. I don't know why GM introduces a new character like Young Griff since Dany already has been that secret Targaryen rising to power almost on her own since the beginning of the story :(
All these long boring chapters about them travelling while we should get a proper Jaqen's chapters finally !
I hope at least in the show Jaqen will be more important next season. I didn't even know there are actually people who care about Gendry ! I have only learnt it from Arya and Jaqen shippers :))) Most people I know don't even remember Gendry and he is not mentioned in the book either. I never cared about him anyway. The character is forgettable and the actor is mediocre and doesn't stand out in star packed show.

I'm glad Arya had some chapters in it; else it would have been almost unreadable. (I thank George for creating this wonderful world/story but here the plot loses a bit).
I would be very open if Jaqen gets a own POV. That would be very intetesting.^^
I remember I recieved the shock of my life when I found out that many people shipped Arya with Gendry. I just don't think he would be able to understand her and he is so... normal. Too normal for Arya. So normal many already forget about him. (Arya is so fixed on Jaqen. Bringing on someone else now, near the end of the story, would be strange and rushed and just not right.)

Ale Calba In the book Arya is in Braavos and Jaqen is at the Citadel. They haven't met yet. They parted when she was a kid and when they meet again she will be grown up and trained assassin. I think it might be very interesting to see them together again :)

Awww!!! Wow!!! it's just simply perfect!! I totally love it. You really matched the scenes with the lyrics, and it's so great, I loved, the scene with the line, "you took my heart" and she watched after him. (Maybe you don't know, which scene I'm talking about, 'cause this line is repeating in the song, so... sorry about that XD).
And I also loved the one, when the song said, "you showed me dreams" and he gave her that coin, because I know, because of you, that fits. XD I mean, your description and our talks, and the scene and the voiceover in some other vid, made it clear for me. Kind of. Sooo, I loved that, too. :))
And I totally agree, with writing our own book, we can finally do, what we want. I'm also never satisfied with any shows, and couples, the way they are, so it's great to write our own stuff. :)) Though, I didn't write a long time ago, again. I read some of other comments, and I saw, you told, you don't write because of either laziness or the many ideas, I totally get it. I'm totally the same. I always have SOOOO many ideas, and I also don't even know, where to start, and what to write. Plus, my laptop is kinda went wrong, and I write on that. (What I use now, is a normal computer, but I'm not able to write stories on this, because I did ages ago, and my back ached sooo much! It still does, with the laptop, but less then with it. I use this one, to everything else, though, editing, watching videos, shows, commenting, etc).
So, enough of that. The point is, your video is amazing!!! And I love it so much, your editing is so great!! :))

+first_of_her name Thanks for the link! Yes, I've seen it (Needle had sent it to me as well xD). He talks a lot about Maisie, doesn't he? :DD And I like it that he thinks Jaqen would put Arya on the Iron Throne. (I mean she, herself, wouldn't chose to be a Queen but how could she refuse? Perhaps with Jaqen as the king.^^ After all, she was taught fighting, languages and different cultures - especially during her time in the HOBAW. But I also like to imagine that Braavos becomes a new kingdom itself and then they just rule over it... and travel around a lot. :DD)
I also remeber someone asked Tom if Jaqen likes Arya and he said that it wouldn't make sense if he didn't like her. All this time he spends with her teaching her etc. Someone is not truly No One :DDD Someone has feelings :)))
I like the idea of them in Braavos even better. I think Arya and Jaqen are smart and they would make great rulers and I think he trusts her and respects her enough to give her a throne but I also got the feeling she wouldn't like to stay forever in KL and Braavos seems to be more cultured and just a better place to live. She was truly free in Braavos propably for the first time in her life.
+first_of_her name He definitely has a soft spot for Arya. I'm also curious about the coin and the true meaning of "a coin you never earned" because was there a special thing you had to do for recieving such a coin? It sounded so since the Waif had been quite jealous about it.
I think they'd be great rulers as well. And Jaqen would appreciate her as Queen (with everything she learned he just created her to be one). In another interview I read he was asked the same question who should be on the throne and he said Arya because of "selfish reasons". Like hmmm does he know something we don't? :DDD
I also think they would be best in Braavos. Arya has too many bad memories with KL and wouldn't be happy there. But I think she first would spend some time on Winterfell if she gets to see her siblings again and help them out before she returns to Braavos. :))

I would like Jaqen to appear at Winterfel too at some point. I wonder what would Jon think of him. They both love Arya so much ! Wait , did I say love ? ;) Also the Hound is heading North so it would be fun to have them both and drive Arya crazy :DDD

Kind of for everything really (including vidding xD) but sometimes I do think about writing and quite for the same reason as you, I'm never satisfied with the shows I watch / books I read xD
What disturbs me the most is that is was said that many people will be suprised when they will read it how much different it will be from the show. (At the end we all just do a mixture of our prefered storylines from both and pretend that this is our canon. xD)

Hi! Actually I use a computer programm from Sony Vegas (Movie Studio Platinum 12.0 - meanwhile new versions should be out). A friend of mine once told me what app she used but I first need to look up where she explained it (or ask her if I don't find it anymore). I tell you if I find it, maybe it helps. :))
I still hope you might decide to edit with J/A. I'm always so excited to see an edit from someone else. :DDD
