Agadmator has to be the most influential non-titled player in chess (and certainly one of the most influential, period). His videos have inspired so many people to play the game world wide and has introduced plenty of players to classic and modern games that are instructive.
Alternate universe: Agadmator: Hello Everyone!, I am currently the World Chess Champion and I have a lot of tournaments going on but that does not excuse me to show you this wonderful game that I found while browsing through the database.
"Today we're going to look at Mikhail Tal's performance in the 1966 Chess Olympiad from Havana." Although he might have covered that tournament already :)
Especially in blitz. My favorite game that I played was on Lichess where I was 4-500 points lower rated than I am now where I played very romantically, gave all my pieces away (most for very dubious compensation) and checkmated my opponent. However, the refutation isn't easy to find. Even though the engine said I was down 9, the evaluation dropped to down 1, then unstoppable checkmate in 2 moves.
Howdy! Just came here from Antonio's channel. It's cozy here. Glad to see you are doing wonderful. Congratulations on your win over Kendi Zeneli. Beautiful and brilliant game. Well played, sir. ❤
Hello everyone! Loving this series Levy, keep up the good work! I'll make sure to show this game to my friends at the bar and the library. And it was in this position that I subscribed to GothamChess
Anyone else watching this absolutely love that A kept his king just kinda out there for the queen to look at as bait, just a relief for black to think “if things get bad I’ll just check” only for the King to slip away into the fog and the true nature of Queen check to be revealed. Beautiful.
Awesome video. Watching the cross overs and team-ups and the nods to and the inside jokes add so much to each of your channels. UA-cam recommended Agad. Agad introduced me to Hikaru and Levy and Anna. Levy introduced me to Eric. Blindfolded Hikaru introduced me to the Botez sisters. Then came sub battles. Then a couple different combinations of the above cover live games. Then Eric claimed Hikaru as his father. That was priceless. Keep up the camaraderie and support of each other. Piecing together all the little nods and references adds an extra spice to these vids. Every time Levy says sorry about that after Agad just showed the same game just moments before is hilarious. I wish I could gives those 2 thumbs up. Those games were so nice gotta see 'em twice.

Your video on the 1000+ gameplay has helped me so much! Hopefully I can get a bit higher. I’m only at like 1060 on daily though so I still have a long way to go. Love ur videos!
Levy, for me you and agadmator are complementary chess mentors. Both superb commentators and both true to sportsmanship and fun aspect of the game. He is more focused on history and you excel on opening and theory as well. Such nice synergy is amazing . So I'm grateful that I found your channel after agad's.
As Agadmator once mentioned in his videos, his play style is basically tricking people. If they fall into one trap they’re screwed basically that one trap follows many others. You’re forced to play super safe against him so unless you’re a GM you can’t waste any time (especially in a fast game like blitz or rapid)
I just thought of a very interesting line. At 4:44 if Agadmator played Nf7 to fork the queen and the rook his position will be very good. Because after the enemy takes with the King Agadmator can go Bxd6 and if the enemy takes the bishop with the queen it will be Re7 check, after Qxe7 Agadmator just pushes the pawn and gets the queen as the king is now in a discovered check with the bishop. And if the enemy doesn't taxe the first bishop with the queen Agadmator can still go Re7 check and he would lose the queen even faster.
This is such a good series. You said some very uplifting and great things about Antonio and they all are true! It shows that you really to watch and like his clips, as we all (so it seems) do. Thank YOU for the great content, I know these kinds of videos take much more work and preparation.

before watching the first minute of this video I feel I need to say I respect agadmator (and his dog) and I'm happy for him that he's back to uploading.
You know what's crazy about this game is you can feel that gambit pawn being valued because if BLack had an extra move, they might have been able to do more to not lose to agadmator 12:45. Maybe that knight could have gone somewhere and helped....

To be fair, Antonio DOES have a draw against an IM in an officially rated classical game.
Agadmator has to be the most influential non-titled player in chess (and certainly one of the most influential, period). His videos have inspired so many people to play the game world wide and has introduced plenty of players to classic and modern games that are instructive.
He is to this era what Irving Chernev was to his era. A strong, though not world-class, chessplayer who is popularizing the game for new fans.
