    Good morning from Arizona. I stumbled across this video and your channel quite by accident. I am genuinely happy about seeing embroidery stitches done in such a well explained way. I shared a couple of your videos with my sister, who's just starting out in embroidery. I want her to see the right way to this art form and then go from there. Thank you for providing such knowledge.

    Thank you Marion! You are an excellent teacher!! I finally got to try a bit of stitching a couple days ago and quite quickly learned that I need to correct my dry hands! Colorado is super dry, because we are so high in elevation, I suppose! My cracked skin keeps snagging the threads, so I have been paying better attention to putting on lotions etc! My chain stitch was having trouble so I switched to split stitch and it worked a charm! And I knew about the split stitch because of you! So fun! More to come! 💕Donna

    Hello Marion. I really think this is going to be an absolute beauty. I’m so looking forward to following the development of this wreath over the coming weeks. Keep up with the garden - weather permitting! The videos you have done based in your garden are lovely. Sadly, I seem to be one of those people able to kill any plant by just looking at it, so I do enjoy what your green fingers at work. Have a great week.

    Thank you, Marion. Another lovely visit and some new stitches, yay! I'm happy you repeated how to do the fly stitch. I was having trouble with it and it is my favourite so far. The twisted chain st. is another excellent one for free-form lines and I will play with exaggerating the slant of the loop. Hope you have good weather for the garden.

The result is already very beautiful and I want to thank you for showing us new stitches and techniques. I am especially in love with those little buds!
    Now back to sleep before my shift. After four bad nichts (change from night shift to early shift, plus some thoughts and Matters, which kept my mind going) I had finally fallen into very deep sleep.early, as did my son for different reasons.
    When he woke up around 21:00, it was still daylight and he thought, he had overslept, rushed into the kitchen, what I heard, saw the daylight and thought I had overslept as well.
    So, after we both had a mean, panick- jump start, we started to get our senses back and laughed heartily. For Walking me Up, at least He walked my dog...
    However, I needed some.relaxing distraction now and hope to find back to sleep, since my alarm will ring in less then four and a half hours. (3 am).
    Your video was relaxing, soothing, very inspiring, pleasant and beautiful. Thank you for sharing.

    The word is granitos ,it is in spanish and it means little grain. You are pronouncing it correctly. Your work is always beautiful.

    Thank you for your beautiful embroidery today in the hoop. I love that box to put your threads in.. I think I saw one at an antique shop the other day but didn't know what it was. I think I will go up and have a look again. What do you call? I love that dress you have on it really suits you.

      The box used to be used to store cutlery. They are called canteens. The insides are usually fitted out so the knives and forks etc are all kept in place.
      The box I got is about a hundred years old. I think it will like being used again to store all the pretty threads ☺️

    Marion I love ❤ the colors used here. Especially the blues. What colors number have you used here?

    • @marionsworld24
      @marionsworld24  4 місяці тому

      Oh I'm sorry I don't take any notice of numbers or brands. All my colours just sit in rainbow order and I use whichever colour I feel like... I'm sorry I can't be more help..
      Just throw caution to the wind and choose the colours you think are the nicest ☺️🪡🧵

    Good morning Marion. I am from South Africa and I just love your work. My name is Christa Beukes and I am 76 years old. Do you have chalkmarker pencils in your shop?

    I thrifted a tshirt that looked brand new, and the first time I wore I got a coffee stain that just won't come out. Think I'll do something like this design on the shirt to cover up the stain. It's in an odd spot so I can't just do a random flower.

    Marion I have a question, I have bought crewel wool from a guild and want to know how you get the musty smell out, How would I get the smell out can you wet it? What needle do you use for your crewel wool please?

    • @marionsworld24
      @marionsworld24  4 місяці тому +1

      I would rewind the wool onto something like a wooden peg or stick and then let it sit in some soapy water for a few minutes. Rinse it out and then let it dry naturally. Outside in the sunshine if possible.. 🤞
