Good morning from Arizona. I stumbled across this video and your channel quite by accident. I am genuinely happy about seeing embroidery stitches done in such a well explained way. I shared a couple of your videos with my sister, who's just starting out in embroidery. I want her to see the right way to this art form and then go from there. Thank you for providing such knowledge.
Thank you Marion! You are an excellent teacher!! I finally got to try a bit of stitching a couple days ago and quite quickly learned that I need to correct my dry hands! Colorado is super dry, because we are so high in elevation, I suppose! My cracked skin keeps snagging the threads, so I have been paying better attention to putting on lotions etc! My chain stitch was having trouble so I switched to split stitch and it worked a charm! And I knew about the split stitch because of you! So fun! More to come! 💕Donna
Excellent tutorial,; such a joy visiting your world!! Made the cheese biscuits and my son went crazy for them ! What a lovely find to get another box for thread storage. You are surely blessed in this new phase of your life. It's because you are such a kind soul! enjoyed this new flower wreath.
Those biscuits are very moreish! I quite often make them to give as presents...😅 I still need to fix up the box.. it's going to be for the crewel wools I think 🤔
Hello Marion. I really think this is going to be an absolute beauty. I’m so looking forward to following the development of this wreath over the coming weeks. Keep up with the garden - weather permitting! The videos you have done based in your garden are lovely. Sadly, I seem to be one of those people able to kill any plant by just looking at it, so I do enjoy what your green fingers at work. Have a great week.
Hi Marion, Your little wreath is beautiful! and your storage box for your threads gorgeous! Looking forward to your garden update too. Thanks for sharing with us.
Thank you, Marion. Another lovely visit and some new stitches, yay! I'm happy you repeated how to do the fly stitch. I was having trouble with it and it is my favourite so far. The twisted chain st. is another excellent one for free-form lines and I will play with exaggerating the slant of the loop. Hope you have good weather for the garden.
Marion, I think this is another favourite, thank you so much for your tutorial. I am learning so much. Here we have such warm weather, but spring is finally here. I hope your weather improves soon, with sunny skies. Will watch this video again as I stitch along. Wishing you many blessings.
Wonderful video, Marion :-) Whew, lots to learn, but your explanations, as always, are so clear and helpful! Now I'm on the hunt for some boxes to help with my sewing supplies storage.

I haven't been able to do your stitch journal week by week as I'd hoped, but this is a page I will definitely do to hang on the wall, it's so lovely. They have pretty shells....😏
Marion I have a question, I have bought crewel wool from a guild and want to know how you get the musty smell out, How would I get the smell out can you wet it? What needle do you use for your crewel wool please?
I would rewind the wool onto something like a wooden peg or stick and then let it sit in some soapy water for a few minutes. Rinse it out and then let it dry naturally. Outside in the sunshine if possible.. 🤞
@@marionsworld24 Thank you Marion.

Oops! Marion I have transformed an exact cutlery box for threads too and it’s such a delight to revamp objects and give them a new life: look forward to see your magic. Beautiful work again, delicate and inspiring. ❤
