I'm everything correct, I went to me setting on Facebook, then I clicked 'Videos', on the left hand side and I see everyone else online have the option to enable the Live Creator Kit but that Livr Cretaor Kit option isn't even available to me. That's correct Carrie and typical too. Desktop often has more features than mobile not only with Zoom but many platforms.

I'm really having trouble with that. A Zoom rep told me Zoom hasn't integrated with Live Producer yet and that I should use the old version of Facebook Live Stream. hmmmm I'd rather not revert to the old system when Live Producer seems to be the way to go!

Hello. I clicked on LIVE (on both business and personal page). Both were taking a long time to bring up the setup page, so I quit. I use an apple laptop, but I'm using FB on chrome. How long do you think it should it take before I see the setup page?

Hi Giuseppe. Simply conduct your meeting in Zoom like you would normally with multiple people on screen and it should broadcast that way on FB too. I'll experiment with this a bit more too.

I think you'd have to have another device nearby with Facebook open in order to say hello and build engagement there. Good question.

Hello Sheryl! Nice video! You are great! I want to start doing Live videos, but I do not want my Facebook friends to get any notifications. I do not want to mix my personal Facebook account and friends with my Facebook Business account. Is there a way to exclude your Facebook friends from your Lives? I am aware that you can restrict people based on location, age and other factors, but that does not solve my problem because It is difficult to restrict all your Facebook friends based on that. Is it possible to use your Avatar to make Lives by you if by any reason you do not want to go Live? I know that the all point of going Live is to built authority in your niche and all that, but maybe you can do it using your Avatar. Many thanks! All the best!

I wonder why I cannot see who is joining the live when on a business page or group within the business page. When I go live on my personal profile it says show is joining. I find that very inconvenient that I can only see how many are live with me but no names/profiles. I feel I don't have control to see if someone unauthorised joins. Is there a work around or a trick?
Hello, Thank you for this tutorial. I was wondering if you had one using the NEW Live Producer with OBS Streamkey. The old one worked fine. The new one just does not seem to want to connect. The blue Go Live never goes blue on the Live Producer page.
I don’t use OBS on a regular basis so I don’t have any correct advice for this.

Nice tutorial video..in my pc i Don't have any webcam..but in my group i only need to live my pc's screen to show my powerpoint presentation.. Is it possible without camera?
Two questions.
1. My team does a big zoom call for everyone to bring their gusts. Can I share this even though I'm joining the zoom myself.
2. Can I only invite certain people from Facebook. For example if I have 5 confirmed gusts from tagging people. Can I only share the live with them? Or if I tagged 50 people can I share with just those 50?
i can do live on phone like that if i want live from pc i need sound from pc ....how to do that ....i dont want to stream somthing withaout sound from what i share like some music program...

Hi. Sometimes when I'm on one of my pages, it doesn't give the option to add someone in. I can see it every time on my personal page, but it's touch and go from my business page. Do you know why that happens?

Thank you. Yes, I have been using FB live for over 2 months now in my coaching group. I started using schedule a live video. That is where I would love your help. I schedule it so everyone gets a notice, they can click a reminder etc, great. BUT it's not working for me. It counts down, then hits zero, the blue circle starts spinning and nothing. The counter doesn't count. So, is this only possible when you use a stream key and third party? I thought it just went automatically but it doesn't. So I have to end then do a quick reset for a regular "go live" Using analytics I wonder if this is showing FB that I am a canceler and bring me down? Any thoughts?
Hi Kathi. Yes, my understanding is that you need to use a 3rd party encoder to use this functionality. Not ideal I know. It's confusing for sure. I'm not sure about this 'bringing you down'. Are you asking if this hurts your reach?
@@SherylPlouffe yes. I do mean reach. Yesterday I tested it a few times and the workaround is to schedule it and then hit enable manual mode just before it would start then go live just before time runs out so it posts as the same post. I had been letting it start (there's no end live button when this happens) closing the tab altogether then racing to set up a new one so I stay in the 9:30 time frame. I'll try again tomorrow using the manual mode. My goal was to use the post as it was created so FB analytics see I am making good on my schedule and not canceling.

Good morning Sheryl. I'm having trouble with OBS..I setup the OBS setting on my HP laptop but when I go on live with the camera im using which is my conference camera. I notice they give you an option to use the camera, stream key, or the hyperlink thing. I thought being on a pc you needed the stream key plus the camera, am so confused. the I see only one person or two that watch but they do not comment plus i do not see my comment section smh. then my live only boots me off after 2 minutes. Also I watched a great tutorial here on UA-cam of setting up the streaming speeds in OBS but obviously something in the settings with the streaming has to be wrong or maybe facebook doesn't allow my conference camera with OBS. Can you help me, Is there another platform that is easy to use so I can use my conference camera or is it even acceptable to use or I might have to use my default camera on my laptop, im so fustraitrated.
Hi Veronica. I've played around with OBS so I'm somewhat familiar but I don't use it regularly right now. I'm not sure I can answer your questions. As for another platform you can use, are you simply looking for a way to use a DSLR camera as a webcam is that what I'm reading?

But my camera or OBS algorithm is not syncing with my video movement its like 90 seconds behind my speaking and my body movement I tried for days playing around with OBS but its impossible to fix that. I will have to use my iphone for now.

Great question! If you are asking about other's joining you on Facebook Live it is as easy as following these directions. Tap at the top of your news feed. Then tap to start your live video. Tap the button at the bottom of the screen to invite friends or group members to watch your live video. Once your friends are watching, tap then select a friend from your viewers list and tap Add. Your friend will then receive a notification to join your live video. Give it a try and let me know how it goes! Cheers!
