Hello! I have just come across your video and I loved it! I have subscribed to the channel and cannot wait to watch all of your other episodes! I am watching you from the UK!
Nice FT. I enjoy seeing what you are stitching. You remind mind me of my grandma from many years ago who has long since passed on. I wish I had spent more time with her. I was so busy trying to make a life for myself and raise a family. Now that I am retired and 67 years young and a grandma myself I watch my grandkids growing up and enjoy their company while I can. I am beginning to teach my 11 year old granddaughter to cross stitch. I'm fairly new to quilting and you are right. We just have to practice and that's how we get better. We learn more from making mistakes just like in our life. Keep the Flosstubes coming!
Thanks so much! It was great to see you back. Depending on work scheduling I’ll try to get to Strasburg on the 14th. It would be great to meet you both.
Thank you so much Liz and Deb for sharing some of my patterns for your give away to England! Writing from Michigan and hope to see you both in Nashville this year!
You are so welcome! We enjoyed last year, we aren't traveling that direction this year though. Thank you for your beautiful work and designs Judy! Hope to see you before too long, Liz
Oh you tempters! I am usually a seasonal stitcher and until a couple weeks ago I would have said Fall was my favorite season to stitch. I started looking at non-Christmas winter patterns. I even found two I had stitched (neither one shown in your videos). I watched Winter Stash while stitching a piece for winter and am now watching a second time with pen and paper in hand. Liz said at the end that maybe you had given us the idea to go back through our stash. Well, you did but you also tempted me to buy more. I received a new pattern just this week and have two more on the way! I am so fortunate that my husband supports my stitching. Thanks for sharing your Winter joy!
I live in Devon, England, UK. and as usual I love your videos, they cheer me up and relieves stress because you are both so happy and giggly and makes me want to do more stitching even thow I am nearly 77yrs old and struggle with my eye site and arthritis in my hands. Thank you ladies for making these videos 🙂
I love seeing the old patterns from old magazines. I still have all of my old magazines and browse through them often. You showed some I definitively want to stitch. Congratulations on your new grandson. I have a 4 year old grandson and he is my love❤. Thanks for a great video.
There are so many winter patterns to look for. When I gave up cross stitching about 20 years ago I gave so many of my magazines to the thrift store. I almost regret that choice now. Thanks for the pattern parade.
Another great floss tube girls. Thanks so much for all your work. I am actually missing winter for the first time ever since I moved to Arkansas. But I still like the pictures of snow and stitching. It. Just not freezing in it... Rhett is a nice manly name! Grandma is going to spoil him!!
Found you today when searching for pin cushion ideas. Lovely to meet others that intend to live to be 300+ so we can complete all of our needlework stash. I am in Texas but my sister is your neighbor in Denver, PA. Really enjoyed the two videos I have watched and will probably binge more. Happy creating!
Hi ladies, great video as always. Deb, so happy on your new grandbaby being a boy. 💙 Liz, on your Heaven and Earth design of the Cardinal on the mailbox, find a fabric that best represents the sky and then eliminate when you stitch the design. Happy Stitching. ❤❤❤
I love watching your shows. Your relationship is everything. The just started stitch looks like The Bear by...umm ?cottage garden? Not sure. Fun to see your stitches cuz they are not always like everyone else. Thanks again for the fun! Here's to snow! No snow days where I live in California. Be well.
Hi Liz and Deb. I am enjoying your video. Liz, I grew up in the LaVista Papillion area, and I went to school there, my kids went to school in the district, and now my grandkids do. I went to Lavista West, and I am now a teacher in the Papillion Lavista school district. I was so excited when I heard you mention that you went to Trumbull Park.
Oh wow! so many folks watching can connect! LaVista wasn't something I recall from the 60's. Julie McConnell's shop is in that area I think! Enjoy it! Thanks for joining us!, Liz
I really enjoyed your video! Difficult to stitch while I watched, I did not want to miss anything! Congratulations on having a grandson! I love mine from the moon and back and beyond the stars!
I love the Winter Trio!!!! Beautiful. Always warms my heart to watch you both and all the awesome stitching. I live in Newtown, Pa. Where is the snow!!!!!! ⛄ ❤
Enjoy your flosstubes. I was pleasantly surprised to see your Pining to Stitch projects at the end. I belong to SOME chapter and was part of that project, it was the lead up to a retreat we had. It is a fun stitch and Denise has excellent directions. Love my EGA chapter ❤
Hello Liz and Deb, I live in Shropshire in the UK. I watch all of your videos and love all of the projects you stitch. I am currently laid up with a broken foot! I have therefore had a lot of stitch time and have managed to get some solid work done on my current Wip's. I hope you both have had a lovely Christmas and I wish you and your families a very healthy and happy new year. Thank you for all you do for our community. Take care. Sally
Hello from the Uk … I love watching you two lovely ladies! We are having trouble at the moment sending and receiving International Post , so if I’m lucky enough to win I’ll be happy to wait for my prize. Enjoying the joy of Needlework . Julie x
Hello ladies and happy new year from Liverpool in the U.K. 🇬🇧. I’ve been a subscriber to your channel from early in your FlossTube adventures - I used to love “gadget corner”. It’s been a while since I tuned in but what serendipity that you picked U.K. from the hat ❤. I love JBW Designs and have stitched a few over the years. I’m old enough to have some of those magazines in my stash and as you said it’s a real pleasure to go through and discover forgotten treasures. I was particularly pleased to be reminded about Winter Bouquet and will be pulling that out and kitting it up . Congratulations on the upcoming addition to the family - how exciting and thank you for a really entertaining video.
As always so interesting. Congratulations Deb on your forthcoming Grandson. I have eight grandsons each one a true blessing. Based in the uk, Norwich in Norfolk which is near the east coast, stitching shops are very much in short supply sadly but your videos are an inspiration and a learning curve. Keep up the good work.
Loving all the winter patterns, I especially love Cardinals, I was so fortunate to see them on a visit to Tennessee. Special memories. We don’t have them here in the UK of course! Such exciting Grandma news! Thank you Liz for the wonderful description of Your dog saying ‘hello’ ‘Look mom’ to the buggies, I’m definitely going to reframe my black lab’s barking at anything and everything that goes past as an hello! 😂
