Nice work JP. Good to step back, slow down and force yourself to see new photos in a new medium. Hopefully when you go back to digital you will take a new eye with you.

Wow, I can't even imagine this being a first time, as this is the only thing we had. My first medium format was a Hasselblad 500...something. Guess they are all worth some money these days. It was either great, or very disappointing sending off the film to be developed and printed to see what one had captured. Can't remember if that was the camera I had that had an upside down image that I would view or not. Always great to see the "old school" cameras being dusted off and used once again! Awesome!!

That was quite a surprise, but a nice change of pace mate! Film photography looks like a lot of work and quite challenging, but like you said, something to get that passion back a bit (which I've completely lost right now). Loved the b&w city shots near the end of the film! Looking forward to seeing what else you come up with shooting film. I've taken a bit of a break from YT (creating & watching), but I'm always down for a new Job film. Hope all is well mate, we need to schedule a chat soon!

Morning Jez, I have only dabbled briefly in film but find the convenience of digital just suited to how I shoot... I do love watching analogie shooters mind, I admire the patience that have to shoot stuff etc. I don't know if its because it a film things but lots gravitate to shooting buildings etc - as you did towards the end of the shoot - but that kind of photography doesn't really float my boat. What a cracking camera you have to shoot film though.. my little forray into shooting film was with a friends rolliflex.. a superb camera and I have to admit the images I shot I realy enjoyed. I have a film cameras at home but they are really just for my shelf. atb Al

Are you the Australian Nick Carver now? Film! Are you mad? 🤣 Great first try. I would have used the black and white on the sunny day with a dark yellow or red filter to darken those skies. If you find it hard to focus use the distance scale with the hyperfocal marks for the aperture.
