The lions came back at the boks at the end of the first test can they keep the momentum or will the boks be to good in the end. Pleas like, comment and subscribe
As a welshman, i never understood why people were saying fourie was out of play. Clearly a world class finish ! i remember being nine years old and being so devastated when that last penalty went over. Looking back though this was one of the all time great matches with this SA 2007-2009 team being the best team of all time alongside all blacks 2015. what a sport !
Who will ever forget this magnificent long range penalty kick from Morne Steyn! Masterful indeed. And Loftus was rockin! One of the most memorable rugby matches in history. Well done Morne. As a Bulls fan I salute you! 🇿🇦🏉
Loved rewatching this game. The highlight was Bakkies and Simon Shaw contest. Ironically they both ended up playing together at Toulon. Fabulous players
By far far the best Test I've watched live ever. Still have the Guinness T-Shirt the promo girls gave out..What a game..an unforgettable day for me personally..Jacques Fourie..you BEAUTIFUL ANIMAL
I was here with my dad. First time to Loftus and Pretoria, travelling from Durban. I never knew it was a defining moment at the time. I remember the sea of red and party atmosphere by Lions when they were far behind. The 2nd half comeback seemed to be inevitable I don't even remember the match winning penalty. I wasn't drunk but I was 19. I had just had come from watching some pre 2010 soccer world cup top 8 tournament with South Africa as hosting.. Brazil, I don't remember the other at JB stadium. I was really spoilt! That year also at Rhodes.. Sorry just brought myself some memories now at 34. :/
@@Treefellow1 Simple - they are going to need to come up with some really dynamic stuff now. The other teams have cottoned on and have combined forward strength with good defense and accurate passing. IT's that last bit that is missing. I must concede that in the last two games there's been clear evidence that they are attempting to do just that - so I'm not the only one who has woken up to the changes happening around in the other teams. They need to reach another level - as shown in this video. I'm looking forward to this year's RWC because of the changes in style of play - no matter how important the game - the conservative-safety-first type is now out the window.
It's only taken me about 15 years to forgive ROG for that up and under disaster. All they had to do was keep the ball for 30 seconds for the draw. I do admire his will to try and win the match but that really wasn't the right play
I'm a Saffa and when I watched the documentary about the series I felt so sorry for him..these tests balance on such a razors edge..I dig the guy..for a lot of reasons..but giving us that game is my fav reason..

Pienaar was choking for no damn reason in this game. That first miss cannot be explained 😂.

Morne Steyn was the true hero of the day. Massive kick.
@@Wildlife_SA. Agree but that Fourie try was a thing of beauty...
'Its a brilliant finish by Fourie'; and he's [Steyn] come off the bench and kicked beautifully'.

Far ahead*
Oh I love it when we win 🏆
Won’t see many better finishes than that one by Fourie.
Some of the best tries scored by the Boks in this game. If only the current crop could just copy from here.
The current Boks are world champions, what are you on about?

@@kevinrtresThis didn't age well, back to back World Champs!!
Its crazy seeing more fans from the opposition team than the local team for a Bok match in South Africa!
Wonder whether the IRISH could muster the same kind of support????!!!!
The main stadium was filled to brim with Bok supporters. And so would the boxes have been too.
I’m sure it’s already been said, O’Gara moment of madness.
Most brutal test match
Brutal??..that's normal in SA
Not really
The more things change, the Morne Steyn the same.

Go Bokke 2023

Bit tough playing with an obvious concussion. To be fair, he wasn’t the only one on that pitch walking around with one…
That's the game they with held ticket sales in South Africa so the Lions could scoop them up first, and WHAT WAS THE RESULT ??????????????????
It’s the player without the balls foot you are looking at, 20 never had the ball…
Love the biased commentary, the off the ball antics by the Lions, and then complaining about the finicality…
Commentators salty AF
Boers win the War. Again.
Paul Kruger skop die Koning weer..
Morne se aand
A great game spoilt by one of the worst cheating decisions ever in international rugby. No reverse angle?
😂😂😂 typical salty pom

One of the best tries ever and put Ronan on his arse.
Boohoo.
Cry you a river..
Anther glorious defeat for the dirty scoundrel Red Coats ..
