Meredith was way back when they bought the hospital but idk what happened in between (I’m on season 11 and not watching super closely). Webber was never an owner even at that time.
Doesn't matter. Meredith wears two hats - owner-director where she is Bailey's boss and surgeon where Bailey is her boss. It is perfectly within Bailey's right to sack her from the latter position. #Accountability.
Sam S Richard Webber co-owns $3million in shares of the hospital. Back in season 9 when she was first diagnosed with a strain virus that infected 3 patients that died, Richard yelled at her for disobeying his orders. He said “I’m co-owner of this hospital which makes me your boss...!”
Webber and Meredith own shares in the hospital Meredith has more shares then anyone so by right Meredith owns the hospital with the backing of the Catherine fox foundation
Y’all need to stop bringing up the hiv thing cause bailey was younger at that moment, now she’s the chief and she’s more of an adult so of course her mindset has changed and honestly she’s doing the right thing
It was like 3 years before and why should we stop bringing it up? What Meredith did would put Meredith in jail. What Bay;ey did would not only put her in jail but also bankrupt the hospital and lead to all of them losing their jobs.
It is called being a hypocrite. Bayley was always jealous of Meredith and Christina. They achieved more than she ever could. The writers literally gave her a Katherine fox award for teaching doctors how to kill babies
I love Meredith, she's is a great actress. Alex is rough and cool. Webber Hummmm don't like your wife. Bailey you wanted chief, you got it, now you behaving like you are perfect, and you do not make any mistake.
Meredith can be fired as Head of General Surgery but she'll still remain one of the owners of the hospital which means she can still control the hospital if she wants. She can also give herself back her job if she wants but knowing Meredith she wouldn't do that. The Catherine Fox Foundation owns half of the hospital and Meredith owns the other half because of the others shares she received when they "left". No *major* decision can be made regarding the hospital without Meredith and Catherine agreeing. Webber, Bailey and Alex are board members but they do not have power over Meredith and Catherine.
Kasia Lesińska Yes but Alex, Meredith, robins/Arizona, owns part of the hospital. I’m pretty sure even tho they own a minority doesn’t mean they couldn’t do anything
Bailey: - administers CPR on DNR patience - administers HIV too child without parents permission - purposely takes out a patience tattoo during surgery for fun
They have changed the character personalities of Bailey. I liked her in the early seasons (season 1-9) but after Derek died, she changed a lot. They need to bring back the old Bailey!!!
Genius scene! You sacrifice one black man to get rid of two white people, one of whom is a hetero white male, the Holy Grail of targets. And since the one black character is a hetero male, it makes it a worthwhile sacrifice. And because hetero men are white knights for women (ie sacrificial lambs), and Meredith is an oppressor, none of them can say anything about the illegal things Bailey has done over the years. Not that it would have any effect anyways. The writers of this show really know their stuff! 👏👏👏😉
I would have done the same, they deserved to be fired. People just don't get it, in real life a real chief would fire them as well. Bailey just can't stand for them as they were children who made a mistake, at that specific moment she was the chief of the hospital, not their friends. Meredith Grey is unstoppable, since season 8 when she impaired Derek's research and got fired as well didn't she learn anything? She can't just act like if she was immune to law and stuff, maybe this time she learns a real lesson and stop acting like a crazy and inconsequential teenage girl.
Bailey fired them Alex and Richard got themselves a hospital and started running it, making doctors follow them so bailey ended up remaining with, Karasick, Teddy, Jo, Avery, Maggie and maggie didn't stay for long she followed her father to pack north hospital, let's say she remained at the hospital with 4 Dr's and the interns.
All three fired and DeLuca in prison. Get him out. Also that end scene between Merluca was beautiful yet bittersweet. (she finally said it... it's a big deal) ❤️
OMG, suspende them for 6 months but remember all the mistakes Bailey has made, only 500!!! She's needs to look in a mirror. And Katherine, Richard should of dumped her ages ago.
Mer didn't just do something illegal, she is being prosecuted for it and bringing a mountain of negative press on a hospital that's already had quite a bit AND has her name on it. Like a fool, Richard just came in making Katherine and Bailey's jobs even harder. By confessing to a crime in public, he is putting them in a situation where they'd have to perjure themselves to keep him out of trouble. He deserved to be fired and I don't know how he thinks he's the injured party in this situation.
This is so bad.... Why behave like this? Didn't Izzie once use Denny s money for a scoliosis surgery anonymously? Why didn't they just do that?? Pool their own money and help the kid? I have never seen the people of this hospital donate money and raise the funds ...it's like that idea is not dramatic enough! What BS...

The show has been signed on for two more seasons. I'm pretty sure this 'firing' won't be permanent lol.
Ellen has signed a contract for 2 more years
Them: we did now what????
Bailey: y’all bitches fired
Them: And I oop...
The Catherine chick asks at 0:45 "Richard, you gotta be kidding me, your a part of this?" Like she just woke up lol he said the shit 3 times then she stands up like her damn brain just turned on lol. Oscar winning performance smdh
Meredith and Webber aren’t owners of the hospital??
Only mer
Meredith was way back when they bought the hospital but idk what happened in between (I’m on season 11 and not watching super closely). Webber was never an owner even at that time.
Doesn't matter. Meredith wears two hats - owner-director where she is Bailey's boss and surgeon where Bailey is her boss.
It is perfectly within Bailey's right to sack her from the latter position. #Accountability.
Sam S
Richard Webber co-owns $3million in shares of the hospital. Back in season 9 when she was first diagnosed with a strain virus that infected 3 patients that died, Richard yelled at her for disobeying his orders. He said “I’m co-owner of this hospital which makes me your boss...!”
Webber and Meredith own shares in the hospital Meredith has more shares then anyone so by right Meredith owns the hospital with the backing of the Catherine fox foundation
seriously i cant get enough of Catherine's "pff oh my God"
Catherine's reaction in the end is hilarious!
if they're really about to let go of 3 doctors who have been there since day 1, i'm not watching anymore.
I laughed so hard @ this scene Bailey needs am Emmy😜😜😁😁😁😂😂😁😂
Y’all need to stop bringing up the hiv thing cause bailey was younger at that moment, now she’s the chief and she’s more of an adult so of course her mindset has changed and honestly she’s doing the right thing
It was like 3 years before and why should we stop bringing it up? What Meredith did would put Meredith in jail. What Bay;ey did would not only put her in jail but also bankrupt the hospital and lead to all of them losing their jobs.
It always bothered me that the doctors in this show never had any actual consequences. 😑
@Katelyn0531 I am not in the mood to deal with the petty shit. If YOU have a problem with MY opinion, MOVE along.
Dude they are owner
@@MichaelTerndrup that's gibberish.
Pffft, this is Merediths second time being fired and she’s been suspended once. She gets consequences sometimes but always end up coming back.
Constance Brown calm down Jesus Christ it’s a show it’ll be boring if they all go to prison duh
It’s funny how there are only 4 people from the original cast in this show
3 of them got fired by the fourth
Bailey literally committed insurance fraud back in season 5 I think lmaoooo she’s such a hypocrite.
Exactly!!
Alex is also owner, Crisitina gave him her rights before she quit hospital
Мария Оспанова no, she did but they didn’t go to him, the seat went to bailey.
It's so weird how she gets fired while Bailey has done more shit before than her
It is called being a hypocrite. Bayley was always jealous of Meredith and Christina. They achieved more than she ever could. The writers literally gave her a Katherine fox award for teaching doctors how to kill babies
Am I the only one who stopped watching after they killed Lexie? Lol
Lindsey Barrow same
Bailey is the chief so she could fire them from the staff maybe not the board since Meredith is part owner
How dare they bring Denny's (RIP) memory back?! Shame on you Shonda!
wendy mena she doesn’t write for greys anymore so it’s not her fault lol why do you think the seasons have been getting worse and worse
Nitureyno 74. Well it is still her show. Good or bad most of us still watch it.
@@wendymena1718 but she's not writing it anymore so why would she be responsible for the memory smh
So we are supposed to forget that Baily did the same thing she's firing Mer for and Alex was a witness
Don't Meredith and Alex own part of the hospital
Anna-Leigh Byrd Alex doesn’t own any part of the hospital Meredith owns her part and Derek part
Like I haven’t even seen this season yet and this pops up in my suggestions like thanks for the spoilers 🤙
Webber, Bailey and Alex are board members but they do not have power over Meredith and Catherine.
y’all remember that time bailey set back the clock so a guys insurance wouldnt be expired? soo where does she get off firing them over this?
How you get fired from a hospital you partially own , Bailey needs to take several seats she is no angel
Has everyone forgotten that Meredith owns the hospital????
I have the same question???
She doesn't own the hospital. She owns part of it, majority is on hands of Avery Foundation.
Kasia Lesińska
Yes but Alex, Meredith, robins/Arizona, owns part of the hospital. I’m pretty sure even tho they own a minority doesn’t mean they couldn’t do anything
trishebarry
Yes he does, go back to season 11, Cristina left him her shares.
Y’all act like you’ve never seen greys anatomy
trishebarry
ua-cam.com/video/mnz1IoyJRHg/v-deo.html
I even brought receipts
Bailey:
- administers CPR on DNR patience
- administers HIV too child without parents permission
- purposely takes out a patience tattoo during surgery for fun
bailey literally committed insurance fraud by setting back the clocks so that the patients insurance would still be valid but okay
I love how Meredith was chilling then was like who’s fired😯
The one time Alex did this voluntarily xD
The feeling when you're only in thr 14th season and get this to your recommendation sjsksjksjs
Fucking love it when spoilers just pop up on my suggested videos, nice one 👌🏻
“This is not an LVAD wire. This is criminal behavior.” the irony
Meredith can build her own hospital and destroy Grey Sloan.
They have changed the character personalities of Bailey. I liked her in the early seasons (season 1-9) but after Derek died, she changed a lot. They need to bring back the old Bailey!!!
Harper Avery wouldve been like its about Damn time Bailey😁
IM SO READY FOR THE NEW SEASON !!
Meredith has no real consequences and it shows she continues to break rules and think it’s okay
"Catherine....?" Boy did that backfire.
Bailey can now fire her boss since she's the chief now xD
The scene ended at 1:19 and they all forgot how to act and missed the dramatic cliffhanger music tone lol.
And Katherine, Richard should of dumped her ages ago.
plot twist: they can’t get their jobs back so the show ends
Insert pikachu open mouth meme
It’s gonna be fine! Annalise Keating is on her way 🤣🤣
ritinha015 YES!
OMG the second Webber came in, I immediately thought of the LVAD incident! And sure enough Bailey brought it up! lol!
Meredith had it thought of already if she got caught.....Richard is genius advising on it especially bring Alex in with it!
I’m on season 7 and i just saw this on my fyp and im jus like sure why not
Mer didn't just do something illegal, she is being prosecuted for it and bringing a mountain of negative press on a hospital that's already had quite a bit AND has her name on it.
What BS...
midwings00 Derek Arizona and Mark They all three wrote a check cover achild that needed surgery.
@@trishebarry guess that is not an option when you are the season finale
