I'm so happy to see that going into a cave doesn't cause the outside light to change into an obnoxious blinding white like so many games these days have.

The thing is, if you go into a cave for a while and then come back outside in daylight, it _will_ appear blindingly white because your eyes have adjusted to the darkness and the pupils have expanded, allowing more light into the lens.
