I have been watching your videos I just love the wigs you choose my hair started getting thin and I get really upset I had. found out 5 years ago that I had a liver disease and the only way I could live was a transplant that day was my worst day ever my doctor said he was so sorry to have to tell me that he said I'm going to send you to a specialist in transplants I was put on a list for a liver transplant it's been 5 years I finally at the top and they are searching for a donor it has to be a donor on life support because I have to have a whole liver my body is give out they will have to give me medication to build my system backup And I saw your video my hair is so thin my self-esteem has gone down I love those wigs I want to buy some wigs You are just the. sweetest lady and I believe in you when you talk about wigs I do want to order some thank you for helping me feel a little better of myself God bless you

Hi Alicia❤ Happy New Year🎉 Thanks for sharing a little about your wig journey. My wig journey started only a couple of months ago. I still haven’t found the courage to wear any of the wigs I’ve purchased and I’ve admittedly been on a buying spree. I open the wig box and see lots of hair and it’s intimidating. How do I get over this fear?
Happy New Year! How exciting to be beginning a new journey. I know it feels intimidating now, but I promise it gets easier. The first thing I suggest is wearing your new wigs around the house. That way you can get used to seeing yourself in them. Seeing yourself with hair after not having much or any is weird feeling at first and you need some time to adjust. Manage your expectations. What I mean by this is that no wig is going to replace your biological hair. Make piece with the fact that you're wearing alternative hair and embrace it. I know what helped me was my attitude, I decided to tell EVERYONE that I was wearing wigs. To me that took the stigma out of it. This gives you the power and takes away any negative reactions from people. If you tell your secret then people have nowhere to go with it. Put your hands in the hair. Play with it. Style it. Tuck it behind your ears. Whatever you want to do. Mostly, embrace it and have fun with it. Please let me know if you need anything at all and happy wig wearing! It's so much fun.
🩵 I bought my first wig in October. Go for low density! Raquel Welch is too much hair out of the gate. Gabor has colors similar to RW, if you like them, and with the price point comes lower density. I also love The Wig Company and some of their styles are fantastic and low density. I adore their style Summer Heat, but it is a middling-to-moderate density to me. Yesterday I got the brand new Belle Tress Santa Barbara in Sienna Spice and it is a wonderful low density. I immediately ordered a wavy one and the shorter Montecito. Oh yes, I am currently loving some Paula Young styles, super price point and they feel amazing. I wish I’d started with Gabor and TWC! The fibers and styles are awesome and the lower price point means that I can experiment with a lot instead of collecting wigs I won’t wear, even though they are amazing wigs. Just too much for me or the color is off.
