Oh God, I wanted this color so bad but just can not do Jones. I preordered Broadway by Belle Tress from this shop. It's look so much like Jones but without that permatease. That I can not wait for.

I do like this new color a lot, and it looks so pretty on you all styled up. You made fast work of that permatease with the wire brush, I will have to give that a try. I have Alva by Noriko that I don’t wear because I really do not like the permatease showing on top.

Hello. Wow, I love this color. I know it has been out in other styles but I am more of a mid length to shorter style gal. The color looks gorgeous on you and this style is so fun, but I am afraid of the amount of permatease since I am small framed. Have you heard any rumblings of any other styles, like Kennedy or Haven adding these "reds"? Thank you so much for all of your videos. They are extremely helpful and because of them, I have made some excellent choices (either for or against styles/colors). You rock!
Hi Erinn, thank you so much for stopping by. There is quite a bit of permatease in this gal, so if that's something you don't care for, I don't recommend it. I do love this color as well. Believe me, if Haven is launched in this red, I'll be first in line to get it. I love that wig. I'm so happy to know my videos are helpful. My goal with these videos is to help viewers decide if a wig is for them or not. It truly saddens me when I see someone purchase a wig only to find how disappointed they are with the wig. xoxo Marlene

I love Jones’ style but it’s just a little short for me… any suggestions for similar look? I have Braylen and loved it but the fibers dried out so quickly 😢 And disappointed I can’t find neutral brunettes with highlights with bangs ( I’m comfortable cutting them in) shoulder length wavy or little curly in layers… lol don’t ask much, huh?!! And a cooool cap! These hot humid days are insufferable sometimes!
Hi Shirley, have you looked at New Wave from TressAllure. I know it doesn't look like it in the picture, but it's very close to Jones. I'll show in a video (hopefully tomorrow). Hi Marlene! Would you please let me know which brand and model of hot airbrush you use? I purchased a great one which burnt out & they don't have it anywhere, anymore 😢. Then a silicone one from Revlon which is good only on straighter styles; first , it is hard to manuever, then it's really too hot to touch to manipulate it for wavier/ curly styles. Thank you for all you do, for all of us! It is an adventure😂. You are a gem!

Great tip with the permatease will it work with a brush that's not metal? 💝
Hi Clara, I've only used a wire wig brush because the bristles are so fine, I feel they really get to the root and break up the permatease. However, I don't see why you couldn't try a regular brush. See if it works for you. Let me know if you try it. xoxo Marlene

Hi Lovely! permatease is used, especially on basic caps, to conceal the wefts and provide a foundation to prevent the style from looking flat. The rooted color helps hide the permatease a bit, but it's more for color than anything else. There are many non-rooted colors that are used on styles with permatease. xoxo Marlene

This is completely off subject from the wigs that you are presenting today, (even though they are gorgeous) rather, it has to do with human hair wigs. Today is our 25th anniversary and my husband wants to purchase a HH wig for me. My memory is not what it used to be, but I recall it wasn’t long ago that you showed a couple of wigs from Shirley’s Wig Shoppe that I believe were called Remi in HH. (Sp?) Is there any way I can get additional detailed information about these wigs? I’m a bit nervous about him spending money on a wig that I can’t even try on, but the local boutique prices are far too outrageous.

Hi Lynn, the wig you are referring to was an Ellen Wille wig (Remy Human Hair). I'll add the link to my video where I showed that wig. I'll also link my videos to two other human hair wigs that I purchased and absolutely love. One of them is by Stacked Hair and the other is Lu's Wigs. Both are small women-owned companies, fantastic customer service (I purchased my wigs, and they had no idea I reviewed wigs), and I love everything about their wigs. You can have a video conference with them and they will guide you. I do want to mention that when a human hair wig is described as Remy, it only applies to the way the hair is gathered and processed. It doesn’t represent anything about the grade of hair or the origin (which makes a difference in texture and durability). The reason that Remy Human Hair is more expensive is because keeping all the hair together and in the same direction through the gathering and then the processing of the hair (which means cleaning, dying, and then making the wigs with these bundles) is very costly.
