Tutorial: How to Make Gradient Rolags and Batts on a Drum Carder: Fancy Kitty Little Tom XL

In this short and to the point video, I show you how to blend a gradient on your drum carder and explain the reasons as to what, why and how. This is a merino silk blend I have blended myself using DHG 19 micron merino wool from Felt Rite on Etsy.

Violet- “Peacock” DHG 19 micron merino wool
Pink- “Shocking” DHG 19 micron merino wool
Coral- “Lipstick” DHG 19 micron merino wool
Yellow- “Electricity” DHG 19 micron merino wool
Light green- “ Chlorophyll Green” DHG 19 micron merino wool
Teal- “Teal Blue” DHG 19 micron merino wool
Mulberry silk/silk brick in coordinating colors- from “Tenney’s Fiber Farm”. Bought white and hand dyed by me with Jacquard acid dyes.
