Thank you for the lovely mention and linking everything! I really appreciate it. Always enjoy seeing your projects and finishes! Happy stitching and crafting!
Wendy you are just as sweet as I had thought you would be. So happy I finally popped in to see you in action and to see your array of painted and cross stitch beauties. I’m still up. Honestly, I’m heading to bed now at 4:00 am. 😁
Thank you for stopping by, Tracy! I'm so glad you can see what a gibbery gooberhead I am. 🤣 It was so nice for you to do all of the things so late/so early! I appreciate you and your kindness. ❤️🪡
You are so welcome! I'm horrible with remembering to return to videos to comment when I don't have my phone handy, so please forgive me. I enjoy your Flosstubes. 😊
Wendy, I love the patriotic piece with the tied rags. So cute and festive! And the silk ribbons come in such gorgeous colors. What a great package in the mail 😊
@@Joanne_TheStoryStitcher Thank you so much for stopping by! I have a lot of stitching and pillow making to do to use those ribbons on! I appreciate you watching and leaving a comment. Have a wonderful Sunday and I prayed those wildfires are extinguished.
I love seeing your flosstube, so many beautiful projects! Subscribed and can't wait to watch your previous videos! 😍 I also want to compliment you on the fantastic wood paintings 🧡
Thank you for leaving such a sweet comment! I'm so glad that you enjoyed my Flosstube and hope I can continue with enjoyable content. I hope you were able to get some stitching completed while watching. Have a wonderful week!
The wood pieces you have done are wonderful. Such talent and patience. You have done quite a bit of needlework this month. All very nice. Have a nice September. Happy Stitching! - Valerie
Valerie, thank you so much for spending some time watching! I definitely lagged in August. Hopefully September will be a little more productive and I'll have a little more stitching to share. Thanks so much for leaving a comment! You have a happy September, also!
Awesome video Wendy. I love seeing your wood projects as well as your cross stitch projects. Beautiful finishes. I live in California and there are not hardly any cross stitch stores that are near me. As far as I know there are only a handful here. I’m glad that there is a new shop near you. Looking forward to your next video 🙂
Hi Catherine! Doesn't it seem that most of the northern states have the real large in-person quilting and crafting stores? I know winters can be long, but summers can be really long, too! 😀 I replied on mail order from Nordic Needle that was in Fargo, ND and Mary's --- (I don't remember) in Naperville, IL when I was in my early 20s. It's great that so many webstores are available, but it would be great to be able to shop in person. Thanks so much for watching again! I hope you're stitching on something fun this weekend!
Love all your patriotic wooden pieces, especially the "rag quilt!" I'm stitching (starting)13 projects beginning Friday the 13th as a 13 day countdown to my birthday on the 25th! I'm currently working on Gilmour House sewing tray (log cabin), which is monochromatic and tiny on 18 count opalescent.
Good luck with finding a stitchy group Wendy . I do not have a group in my area but I am ok with all the Floss tube contributors, Love the Ruching method and plan on using for trim on "smalls" instead of buying MORE supplies 🥰
Thank you. There will be a small meetup about an hour from me at the end of September that I plan to attend. Ruching is so pretty and feminine! I really like the effect. Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment!
Hi Wendy! I absolutely love your wooden pieces, they are so cute! It’s always nice to add a little something extra to your decor that’s not stitching, you know? Your stitching is all so beautiful, wonderful job! I hope cooler weather comes your way sooner rather than later 😊
Thanks so much! I'm so excited that our high is supposed to drop to 86 for at least three straight days. It's nice to hear from you so soon. I expected you to be away all weekend! 😄 I hope you had a nice long weekend!
@@WendysWhimsicalStitches good news for lower temps! I woke up this morning and it was 55 degrees 😬 I’m definitely pulling pants out now! I’m actually going away this coming weekend, and I’m hoping to get a new flosstube out this week ☺️
Wow love your painted finishing pieces! Your stitching is beautiful. Sorry you did not find any stitchers to get together and stitch with. Better find a couple Ladies that you know and teach them to stitch so you can get together once in awhile. Stitching with friends is the very best. 😊❤ See you in September.
Painting the wood pieces has turned out more rewarding than I ever thought of it. I may have a surprise next month regarding a stitch meetup. I hope that you were able to do a little stitching during this episode. I appreciate you leaving a thoughtful comment. 😊
WoooHooo I’m pretty sure I’m the 500th subscriber! I’ve been following you on Instagram because we have soooo many similar likes in life and stitching! Can’t wait to binge your previous videos. Hi from Arkansas!
Congratulations on being Subscriber500! 😊 Thank you so much for subscribing and supporting my channel. I hope you find even an ounce of inspiration and enjoyment in watching the videos. Have a great day!
You have gotten a lot done! The wood pieces are so pretty. Your Carolyn Manning finish is lovely. Thank you for the info on the frame. I'll take a look and see if I can find one for Proverbs. Nice start on the chatelaine too!
Thank you so much! Signed and Numbered is a really great place to order frames from. They have a wide selection and were very helpful when I was needing assistance in finding a frame color.
Thanks for another great video! Your wood painting is beautiful and I love the Blessed Beyond Measure! I haven’t purchased that design, but after seeing yours finished it is high on my list. Have a great week and happy stitching.
Thank you so much! It's so nice to hear from you! Painting the backer and pieces for Blessed Beyond Measure might have been just as much fun as stitching the design. 😊 I hope you've been able to do a little more stitching now that life may have slowed down for you a bit. Have a great weekend!
I had knot stitched for a week, and finally started back again today. It felt kind of strange to not be stitching, but I had a lot to do to get ready for the retreat. I am thinking about getting that sheep pattern, to do for my father's cabin. I'm guessing that it was not fun at all to stitch that sheep.
I am amazed that young mothers get any stitching done at all…you have done well. I had a decade without stitching or sewing when my three kids were young. Have a fabulous September. 🦉🧵🪡🔆🌻
I think sacrifices were made with other areas in life being cut away. You definitely didn't stop with the piano! I used to work full-time when my two oldest were young and I look back and am amazed at how much was done back then just in daily life. I often think more was accomplished then than after I became a SAHM! Haha Happy stitching and thank you for watching and commenting!
